apart from fronzz's and rpm's posts, this just seems like one big spam topic, so I'll try and put us back on track.
The Grey Folk died out. They either found matches in the other races and bred, creating half breeds, none of which are alive today. The rest are dead, they dissappeared off the face of Alagaësia. They do not exsists and longer, but I believe that their spirits are what are in the vault of souls. An interesting point to show is Blagdens rhyme. By beak and bone, Mine blackened stone Sees rooks and crooks And bloody brooks! Although this is as cryptic as it gets, I have read into this what I wanted it to say, and have come to the conclusion it means this: Beak and Bone (Ra'zac) Mine blackened stone (either the Rock of Kuthain (sp?) or Helgrind) Sees rooks and crooks (birds feeding on carrion, stealing away life or maybe objects) and bloody brooks (we have already encountered this, as the Jiet River ran red with blood from the battle of The Burning Plains.) _________________ Master Of Nothing Lord Of Everything In all... but those half breeds might have survivied and become like 1/20 grey folk instead of half but if any lived they would be good dragon riders.

but they didnt survive... they bred out into the other races.. so he cant find them... once a bloodline gets spread out that far i dont think it can reemerge...

it just said in the book that they faded into the corners of the world or something( or have i read it wrong?) they might have went into hiding, u never know.
