Character Personality: At all times he keeps in control of his emotions, and if you set them off you’re most likely dead. A master in the sky with claw, tooth, and flame it’s a surprise he is not overconfident. Yet he is very practical if not shrewd and ruthless. Nonetheless he looks at the big picture and is constantly analyzing everything. It seems he contains no emotion and that he has removed himself from the living. That fact is his single weakness, the fact that he has practically no emotions and cares about nothing can make him a very deadly killing machine or a very strange enemy (giving very weird mercy in critical situations) but without ties and reasons for what he does he is in fact weak. No emotion ever comes to him, but if memories were stirred about his rider he could enter a blind rage of insanity once more.

Character History: Talis has no idea who his parents were, but at one time in his early life he had a rider and hatched for a male elf. He doesn’t remember the name of his bonded, save that the elf was killed ruthlessly by a wild black dragon while he out was hunting. The effects on Talis were catastrophic, he barely survived the loss of his rider physically and for awhile he went mentally insane (perhaps he still is). He ruthlessly slaughtered the black dragon and it was said he pummeled, shredded and mutilated the black’s body for days until nothing was left. During that time his eyes and spikes turned from a golden color to a deep black, and his ruby scales were stained blood red. For awhile he went mad and flew aimlessly killing without meaning. He even destroyed a small town letting none of its human occupants survive without a vicious death with his claws, teeth or fire. After the destruction of the town riders searched him out and tried to calm him, or slay him if need be. But in a mad rage, still confused and lost by the death of his rider he attacked all of them. Striking any dragon his claws could find, and then he ran away. None of the riders could catch him in his extreme pain and anger, nor did they want to, for pity came to them at seeing what happened when one lost half of one’s self. Running to the spine he slept while still weeping for his lost rider. That was the last time emotion came to him. When he awoke no emotion existed and the memory of his rider had faded into a haze. From that day on no anger, happiness or other feeling filled him.

Character's Physical Description: Talis is a very large dragon. Reaching the length of a football field from nose to tail, his wingspan is twice that size. His body is compacted entirely of muscle and his ivory teeth are surprisingly unblemished. His scales are a very deep blood red, and at times when the light hits them it seems he almost bleeds. His spines are obsidian, as are his talons. Perhaps the most disturbing part is his dead eyes. Completely black they hold no emotion, no feeling; only death fills those eyes and it can be very unnerving to see.
