My idea of fun is laughing with friends, computers, reading, doing hobbies, disco and basically anything that involves fun. I especially enjoy computer programming, and am starting to learn how to be a "Whitehat Hacker" , I also enjoy reading a good book, and watching a good movie, and hanging out with friends.

I feel honoured.

Exactly, and its not for everyone. Some people thrive in school and some people thrive doing homeschooling.

Me and Valk are homeschooled...and so is Keever...I dunno about anyone else.

White hacking is to find a problem to help people fix it and you don't take advantage of the problems for any malicious purpose. This is what I do at school, I find lots and LOTS of network security problems and I report them so they can fix them. I am going to have fun next year has they are completely changing the network over the summer and so there will be more problems to find.

I'm in contact with a whitehat hacker on another site, and he told me that grasping a good knowledge of PHP will help you be a whitehat hacker.

Ok so im like BoReD! And i know most people would tell me to go to bed because in three eleven in the freaking morning but i say whats the point in going to bed when im on summer break and theres no school tomarrow! And i have all day tomarrow to sleep and in the morning i will wake up late and go and have fun with my friends! Yess i know what a boring life! BUT UR WRONG! Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and sometimes Sunday i go up to the local track and run a few miles, jump 65 meter hurdles and do long jump with the last years 7th and 8th grade track team! YES I LOVE TRACK AND FIELD! So i do have a life and im bored ill tell you a great joke ( considering im such a comedian!) and afterwards ill read a book! OK!!!!!!

I didnt think it would work either, cause I'm using a MacBook and I havent figured out how to copy and paste, but I jsut quoted Firetongue when she sent it to me and it showed me the URL, and I wrote it down on a piece of paper and typed it into my sig area in the profile and when I previewed it, there was the picture!!!

So just a little mistake that made only my video work, all the ones that you posted with the correct code should work

I have a good idea of what each part does so I can pretty much fix all of it.

If you try to read it, all programming languages become easy to understand just like reading a book. I've been working on websites for the past 3 years and after reading it and playing around with it once in a while you get the hang of it.

It's almost like the matrix, but not has hard, where they say that they no longer see the code, but just objects ...

what ever you say... but i can kinda see it... your jus telling the computer what to replace in the code... the size of it and where to get thevideo from...

so is the reason it woudnt work for all of us because in this part of the code...

you added the minus sign so it was trying to view all our vidoes but was adding a minus sign infront of the adresss code we entered... so it was seeing vidoes that didnt exist...
but since the vido you used had a minus sign in the url it worked...

does that even make sense...

the bbcode ({youtube]link{/youtube}) is just a shortcut for all that...
when we use the bbcode it tells the computer to follow all those steps that louis quoted... those steps just tell the computer how big to make the video and where to get the video from...
the reason we only have to use the last part of the code it because of this part...

if you notice that is the same as the adress that would be in the address bar of your internet browser if you were viewing that video on the youtube website...
it places the code we use from the end of the url where it says {TEXT} then follows that adress to the video...

i have no idea where i got that or if its even right...

To understand programming languages, you've really got to do more than just read it from a book and copy the examples from the book- the best way to learn is to memorize what each part of the code does, and then create a script that goes just beyond your current ability, but make sure that the script you're writing is something you're interested in.
Another way, is to create exams from what you've learnt and then set yourself a time limit to complete the exam and then award yourself the appropriate grade, and it can show you roughly where you're at.

I'm glad those videos can't play automatically, because it would slow my browser down dramatically - don't have broadband, because we can't get it where I live.

On another note, I was reading an article in the paper about google and how its search engine works - and I must admit the bits I could gain meant that lots of mathmatical equations had to be developed. (Google owns YouTube.com for those that didn't know).

Finished a decent pep rally. One more week of school!

Well yesterday was my last final - Science exam, and now only got two more days left of school - Monday, and Tuesday, and then I have a 3 week break!

About the "Google Video Codes", the best way to find them out, is just to type those words into the Google search engine. I'm looking it up right now.
