This new format is sweet!

its looks great, except everything is all so BIG! lol

its ok but its really confusing and some stuff is missing

I like this new version. I haven't used the old version much (I joined recently), but I think it has more features, and it pretty easy to use and understand.

I especially like the tab-like layout in the User Control Panel. And I agree with those that say the forums look brighter and clearer.

If you hear the mods complaining it's because they now have 3 times more options then before. I think I will also complain, because I know have 10 times more option, but most of them are quite useful.

But I seriously like it and once I get use with the code's layout I will be able to do much more. Also a lot of the things that I had to add to the other one allready come built in.

Well I like phpbb 3 it looks cool, and I'm about to email the phpbb company and ask them a few questions about what software they used to create this board. You see, I'm getting ideas that I hope I will be able to go forward with...

I can just imagine the work that the phpbb team must of gone through to get this far with the phpbb boards.

Its very similar to another forum I'm on, so instead of remebering which options are on which site, I just have to remember a few things! Its great!!!

I'll have to admit that I'm more interested in how the Phpbb team actually created the phpbb 3 forum software and the coding they did for it, then the acual features that we can see and use on the actual forum. For me personally, I love to see the inner workings of all cool software that uses PHp coding. I'm fascinated by it.

Since phpbb 3 forum software is such a success and 10 times better than phpbb version 2, I am wondering what phpbb version 4 will be like -- if I ever get a chance to view it of course...

Not crude, crud. Its a different term for crap or s**t. It wasnt an offensive remark. It was just an exclamation of surprise. And I said unexpected, cause it was. I was very surprised at the changes that have been made to the site.

my internet is incredibly fast so i dont have to worry about that but i agree its not a familier feel

Now I'm gunna make an announcement: I officially consider myself a technician for phpbb 3 forums. So if ya can't get something working and you need some advice just PM me and I'll see what I can do to help.

If I had helped with the making of phpbb 3 forums, I would have installed an option with in the Admin Contro Panel,that lets you pick which version you want: phpbb 2 or version 3. Reason being for people who don't like the version 3.

I quiet like the new forum, although not much is changed, but out with the old, and in with the new

the old one was good and we really didnt need to update but i have too admit it does look better and brighter and clearer so i really cant complain

Also, where is the Usergroups headline, once this version appeared, it disappeared....

the only thing i dont like about the new sf is a lot of times when tyou press some thing it doesnt work and you have to do it again.
