Going anywhere for the summer?

I just got back from Germany My family went for 3 weeks to the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria starts to hum My favorite thingslol It was awesome! Now my brothers who are 18 and 22 are off on their own. They started out alone in Amsterdam (great place to send teenage boys, not) and let's just say they got the full experience (they didn't do anything too bad). A few days after they left for Amsterdam, we (my dad, mom, grandma, and I) flew into Frankfurt then drove down to a small town called Schwezingen (sp?), we stayed there for 2 days with relatives then went to Berlin. In Berlin we met up with my brothers and stayed there for about 3 days. Then we got on what my brothers and I like to call a floating nursing home. It was an 8 day river cruise down the Elbe River from Berlin to Prague. I don't think there was a single person under 60 except my family on the whole boat lol. Along the way we went to places like Wittenberg, where Martin Luther came up with the Protestant religion and Meissen, the first city to manufacture porcelain in Europe. I think we stayed in Prague 2 days. The Czech language is insane there are words that look like "klmglottn" and famous restaurant there is called "U Pinkasu" where I got trapped in the bathroom (don't ask lol). I don't remember exactly where we went after that but I think it was Salzborg (sp?) in Austria. Salzborg is where Mozart was born. Austria in sooo pretty they so much to keep Austria clean it's scary. All the lakes, mountains, and forests are perfectly pristine. We also took a Sound of Music tour. Do, a deer, a female deer. Re, a drop of golden sun. Mi, a name I call myself. Fa, a long long to run. So, a needle pulling thread. La, a note that follows So. Ti, a drink with jam and bread. That would bring us back to Do. lol Then went to Munich, stayed there for one day then sent the boys off on a train from Dachau, where the first concentration camp was. For me, the most moving and powerful part of the camp was the gas chamber. It's horrible to think humans can actually do that to eachother on purpose and show no remorse. After Dachau, we went back to Schwezigen and the next day we were a plane for Charlotte then Tampa, Floida. My brothers are spending today in Munich then I think going on to Croatia to cities like Debrovnek (sp?) and Split. Then I think there going to Sofia, Bulgaria for a day then spending 4 days in Athens, Greece. Wow I just typed so much it feels like my fingers are going to fall off lol. I now know basic German. It was an incredible trip. Grusse Gott und Chuse! _________________ September 20 can't come soon enough....

I went into the stall, locked it, did my business, buttoned up tried to unlock the door but it wouldn't budge, tried to unlock the door for a few seconds, gave up, started pounding on the door. Thank god U Pinkasu is a touristy place to go because someone who spoke English answered. I said "I think I locked myself in" and she said "Seriously? I'll go get someone" and about 30 seconds later she came back with someone who had some sort of key and I free lol. It was pretty awkward going back to family because my brother wanted to know if I had been molested because I took so long. Then I shakily told them what happened. To call it embarrasing would be the understatement of the year lol _________________ September 20 can't come soon enough....

Gender: Guy	Re: Going anywhere for the summer? im not going anywhere significant but my friend went to Edingburgh (SP SORRY!!!!!) and London for a little over a week... she got back last week... she said it was amazing... she loved Scotland... They went all over the place and (to all of their dismay) they went to Stratford on the Avon (shakepear's birth place)( it was a school sponsored trip)... but she also went into the coffee shop where JKR wrote the first four HP books... the group didnt but she had to... just to check... _________________ RPG Bio Me=2647

We just got out like three or four weeks ago!! I've been to EFY -Especially For Youth- already. It is where you go to colleges and stay in the dorms and it is a thing for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints (LDS or Mormons) and so you have little lessons and you eat good food for a week. It's really fun. Oh and sorry I'm probably not supposed to bring religion into it, but most people don't understand what it is... I can't really explain it that well unless you've heard of it. This weekand is my family reunion. I don't care what you say, family reunions are DA BOMB!! We are staying in the United States, ha ha, in Idaho too. We're going to my summer house, Glendale. Then hopefully next weekand I am going to try to hitch a ride with my cousin to Warped Tour. It will be awesome. Eventually I will go and stay with my best friend from Utah, for a week. Haven't planned the days yet though. Other than that my dad has planned stupid things like hikes and camping trips which I do not like. And in August I have to get a job, so I won't be going anywhere if I get one. No big trips planned though. I heart summer!! _________________
