 Eragon DVD Released!!!Eragon DVD Released!!!!
On March 20 2007, the Eragon DVD was released in the U.S and most other parts of the world. The movie has been released in a regular or widscreen version, which is selling for $29.99. You can purchase the dvd from your local video store or online. (I was going to post this news on Eragonplus, but the site seems to not be loading at this stage.) Much as i guessed, my dad (who loved the movie) bought it today.
There is all of 12 minutes of deleted/extended scenes which include Katrina, the Twins, and the scene where Eragon "blessed" the varden baby. I REEALLY wish they would have left the scene with the twins in, it was really good. actually, they should have left all the scenes in. the menus on the DVD are really kewl. I havent looked at any of the other special features yet, but there is an interview with CP. I forgot about that!! *goes to watch interview* _________________ Before you talk, listen. i got it on tuesday and watched it with my friend then stayed up all night (well till 4 in the morning) and beat the video game...
the deleted scenes should have been left in... it would have made the movie a whole 10 minutes longer, and the entire movie closer to the book!!!!! oh and the director's video comentary was annoying... is there a place to talk about this before i start going on and on??? ill go check... ***leaves*** _________________  RPG Bio Me=2647 |

I have read reviews on the Eragon dvd both from http://www.awesomefantasybooks.com and http://www.shurtugal.com. Both were pretty good.
