Does anybody have any thoughts on if brom will some how come back?

I doubt he will..tho he might come back in spirit..(Vault of Souls)

since saphira preserved his body in the diamond thing, i think it's very possible that his body will return to the vault of souls and come back to life.

eragon could heal the inside of brom's body, take him to the vault of souls (since saphira prevented his body from rotting), and then maybe his spirit could join back with his body.

or maybe someone will sacrifice themselves to bring him back to life.

No, it's because galby increased security by like 10000000x after saphira's was stolen.

Guess we will have to wait FOR A YEAR to finally find out!

But what about the whole "void" thing. the elves belive taht when you die, your dead and gone, period. if they are right then Brom could never come back. I think the vault of souls would have something to do with it if it does happen, but any way it happens it will be in a spiritual form. I think Oromis know more than we give himm credit for...

Maybe Eragon could talk to Brom after he unleashes him from the vault of souls. He was killed by the razac after all.

wut the **** kinda question is that? "will brom come back?" brom is dead. he's sealed in a diamond tomb. so how the **** do you expect 4 him 2 come back?

I would really appreciate if you refrained from including post as this one. It's not nice, it can cause ill feelings.

You do realize Brom specically told eragon 'bringing someboody back from the dead will kill yuo'? So how the **** will he come back, then?

Brom I don't think is coming back, maybe his 'spirit' or 'soul' is in the Vault of Souls, but I don't think he could ever come back physically. (That'll be too much like Gandalf)

If we are to go by the lessons Brom gave Eragon while on the road, I think it's highly unlikely Brom will return from the dead. It would be too Star Warish if that would be the case. If we have the chance to see him again, I think it would probably be through one of Eragon's dreams.

i think he will not come back (*tears starting to show up*) he was great....but he is DEAD, and that is sadly it, the only think he will stay, dead .... maby he will be like a guiding voice in eragons head....
if he somehove rises from the dead(which is highly unlikly) i wouldn't like that actually...it would be to soape, meaning spanish soap opera( if you call it like that).... i kind of hm...settled(??) with him being well...dead...ugh...i'm complicateing again...me and my philosephy....

I agree with that too... Because bringing him back from the dead wouldn't really accomplish anything. Because if Brom can come back (and somehow manage to break through that barrier Saphira made him) What if people like Morzan can?

well, you fing out in the end of eldest that murtagh is still sorta good on the inside but is bound to galbatorix thru the AL and galby knows his true name. but, maybe, he decides to sacrifice himself to get brom back from the dead since he cannot go back to good. I mean, why else would CP have the whole scene of saphira putting broms body in the diamond tomb so that his body cannnot be ravaged by time? It makes perfect sense to me.

Eragon and Saphira can't bring Brom back- let alone Murtagh x_x Saphira made the tomb around Brom because he was like a legend- he slayed the evil Morzan and he was responsible for keeping Eragon alive- thus he saved the line of dragon riders and restored hope to The Varden because of it, and Eragon would not be around if it wasn't for Brom.

I think that's reason enough to make him a diamond tomb...

I honestly highly doubt it'll ever happen. Why, if it was possible, are Dragon Riders scarce when someone could've brought them back? The only idea I have is the Vault of Souls. The name says a lot, and obviously there's something there that Eragon needs to do.

There wouldn't be any point in bringing Brom back permanently though. Oromis took his place, Brom should only come back if Oromis dies before Eragon's training is complete; which would be sort of stupid.

I dont think brom will come back in spirit. to star wars-ish. either hes coming back for real or not at all. I mean its already pretty close to star wars now (if you watched the eragon reveiw on xplay you know what i mean).
