ive been thinking about starting to rp (if i can think of a character lol) but ive read a few rpgs and the rules and guid lines and since ive never rped before theres a lot i dont understand.

1. while looking at a rp i saw this

im wondering why hes saying that because nutta didnt make the topic and he didnt post last so why do they need to wait for him?

2. i see rules about stuff like god-modding and i really dont understand the whole you know 'unfair' thing about making characters strong because iim guessing rping isnt a contest

3. ostho made a topic about being inactive and i ont get why people cant do the rp without them

first what do you mean fair? is it a compitition or something?

and with the turns what if one of the people leave for a short period or just dont post in the thread or what if some one joins in? do you have to take turns?

Just saying this quickly: Turns are not solid. You can go out of turn if you need to, and sometimes you just don't have anything to do. But as a general rule, try to stay in order.

No. Check out my Inactivity post though. Going out of turn isn't normal, its more like an esception. Just saying if you do screw up, or think you have something important enough to interject before the next post, no one's going to go insane and yell at you or anything.

Anything you want to do. Think of your character personality, but you can do anything you want to.

im just about done with my bio i just need to do phisical apearence and personality. its coming out great. you can pm if you want to see it

i just noticed this. i thought an rp is when some one continues the story but ii just relized when some one posts there putting there character in it. are all of them like that?

Pretty much anyone is allowed to be in a rp. Noone is blocked from rping unless the Head says so.

Yeah, they really want that but I don't see how it affects your character once you start. You could change during the story anyway.
