Ok so maybe she doesn't blame him for Arya leaving. But I think that even if she did blame him she would have still sang the bow for him because she had to give him a gift. Well she didn't have to, but Oromis did and she couldn't just let Oromis give him something and she not give him something; her being Queen and all.

I think she knows that Eragon has feelings for Arya but not to the extent that Eragin does, maybe just a little crush. I think the reson her words were like that is because she was trying to maitain composure and not let on how sad she actually was about Arya suddenly leaving and all.

I say maybe, I really think with what Islandzi said is coming from Arya leaving and how Islandzi misses having Arya around and how she leaves so much. I really think Islandzi wishes Arya had chosen a diffrent path, I think that is what she was talking about.

I agree, I bet Islanzadi has caught on a little... Most people have by now. I think the stiffness was because she wanted to keep composure she might have also been a little upset but not mad that Arya wanted to leave. So basically I'm repeating everyone, so yes I agree...

islanzadi probably knows. arya would most likely have confided eragon's emotions toward her to her mother. after all, that is what most people would do. and yes i do know arya is an elf not a person, but i still think she would have told her mother already.

I don't think Arya told her mother, but I DO think that Islanzadi has a hunch that he likes her. I also think (just because sometimes mothers know their daughtors better than their daughtors know themselves) that she thinks that Arya secretly likes Eragon. As a matter of fact, I think Islanzadi knows it better than Arya!
