I'm thinking that at least one poster that has been posted here is fake- mainly because in this one, saphira's wings are disgusting and feathery, but in the other one, it's kind of a membrane like it says in the book.

This is the advertisement that Fox posted in the New York Times last week. Shurtugal.com was able to get a high quality version it. I would say that this is the nicest one that they have came out with for the moment. The colours are much neater and we get a closer look at Saphira and what seems to be one of the cities in the movie.

I personally love the picture and think that it is really awsome . The only dowside is that I can't see the spikes on her back but everything has a small downside. And also those things you call "feathers" are really rows of scales. One last final thing is that the hair is only on the head and is really creative.

Well, in an interview, Paolini said that he himself didn't imagine Saphira as she appeared on the book's cover, so this may actually be closer to his own vision.
