i get to go on vacation starting may 31 and i stay gone for 2 weeks. i cant wait! no work no nothing excepting visiting with my friends and having fun. its been 3 yrs since ive had a vacation. me and my family are going back to california. i wonder how much (if any) our old town has changed. itll be fun to see.

The weather can be nasty up north, it's something to do with the Baltic Sea. It's the same with Germany, the north half can be cold and miserable for much of the year while the south is nice and hot.

Have youall ever been to Kings Dominion here in Virginia? Our senior trip is to one of these amusement parks, maybe that one I don't know. Which is actually pretty lame because a year ago we went to Florida. That would be fun.

Well that's cool. We are going to Branson Missourri later this summer. I hope we have fun. I've never been but some of my family has and they said it was fun.

Where in Virginia is Busch Gardens? Is it the one by Williamsburg? As far as I know we have King's Dominion, 6 Flags and Busch and I never can rememember which is where...

Yeah, our police are pretty serious about catching speeders.

Yes, I totally understand. One time, we were going to Disney World and we passed through Atlanta, Georigia. We saw about 6 bad, bad, BAD wrecks just going through that one city. So we never went through that city again. Now we go through Alabama.

I always keep my seatbelt on.

Anyways, we just got back from our vacation at Branson, Missouri. It was better than I thought it would be. They have this Titanic museum designed to look like the actual Titanic with real artifacts and stuff from the ship. They also had some neat props and costumes from the movie (one of my favorite movies of all time). And they had remade the Grand Staircase full scale and they let you walk up and down it. It was beautiful. And then we went to Silver Dollar City (a big amusement park). It was awesome. So all in all we had a lot of fun.

Not wearing a seatbelt is unwise. They dramatically improve your chances of surviving or preventing injury in a crash.
But I sometimes don't wear the seatbelt too on short trips, yeah it can be uncomfortable.

I've been to Missouri, or St Louis at least. It's OK.

The seatbelt doesn't bother me. And if I'm going down the road or a short distance I don't bother putting it on. But if I'm going through town and stuff I always keep it on, not really because I want to be safe, it's mainly habit.

I was there a few years ago, we left just before Katrina jumped ship and drilled in to New Orleans, it was pretty sweet, hit Disney World, and I think the NASA place too, yup, just found my visitors pass. bought a crap load of Tangerines too! MMM yeah Lol I think we're headed down there again this Halloween too... don't know for sure yet though...

I've been to the cape as well, and it was fun. I wandered all around the building that the Saturn V is in. That is an awfully big rocket. And I ran into several people I know from back home, unplanned. xD Good times.

But yeah, been there and it was a lot of fun. I saw one of the shuttle moving machines. Which was big. Well, huge. I watch all the launches. xD

I used to live 20 miles away from it. It's quite something to see in all seasons. And a popular honeymoon/visitor spot as you say. Last time I was there I must have ran into people from 7-8 different countries. (in the dead of winter mind you)
