if u're playing strategic games (say.. Heroes of might and magic), it appeared to be easier to fight your foes when you're in the castle (or your teritory), because you've got advantage on defense. The final battle must be very massif, maybe it happens not only in one place but happen on several spots all over alagaesia. the plain is a high posiblity be one of those places... i think.

seems likely an assualt on uru-baen will be the climax

yes ofcourse there're will be a final battle on the plain, where else?? It large... it's close to urubaen... urubaen is the central of all galbatorix's strength so it must be near it

I agree that it will be on the plains of urubean. where eles could it be really, this is one of the only places in the books that we haven't really been too, you know. It also makes sense that of course it will be close to the king because he is too fat and lazy to go to far from his safe little *big* castle thing.

I think there will probably be a few minor battles, one in Du Wendenvarden and maybe the Boers, perhaps even another one in Surda. Unless all the races converge in Uru'baen, there will have to be more than one battle. It would be pretty awsome though if there was one final desisive battle, which there probably will be.

Yes, everything converge to this city... After all, the suspense now is based on the meeting between Galbatorix and Eragon. Besides, to take control of the Empire, they have to take control of the main city..

Eragon could be walking near the menoa tree without a weapon and then some evil fellow\s come. he hides under the roots of the menoa tree, and sits on a weapon and uses it to attack them

pretty cool idea . i think there will be a few battles. like as the varden head to ureabean. but that is were i think the final battle will take place.

could be. dragons can fly. so can the ra'zac. but the whole battle can't. the soldiers will have to be on land.

IF there is as final battle i think it would be in the Hadarac (not just because of my name) because of how big it is and the fact that it is between the empire,the elves,the dwarves,and the varden, they would like collide on the hadarac
