He can shoot an apple from three miles away right in the center. His swordsmen ship is alright, but it is his ability to stop magic that makes him above many others.

Magic Seal; He has the power to seal off magic. Though it is only for a limited time and space, he can render all magic useless for that time in that area. He does it by using an ancient spell, that halts magic, and renders it useless. Even though it only last for an hour of two at the most, it is his greatest weapon

Character Personality: Though he seems hard and mean at first, he softens up once people get to know him. He has a good heart and will do anything to help a friend in need. He will trust just about anyone, though that has gotten him into trouble in the past. He unlike most of his home village is not prejudice towards anyone or anything. He love nature, and the wild. The reason why he seems cold is unknown to most, but it is due to a tragic event that happened in his past he refuses to talk about. He says though that he is not pure because of it. He will warm up to people very fast though, which some, including himself find odd because of his past. He hopes one day to become a rider and help the Varden against Galbatorix. He hates Galbatorix more than anyone else, mainly for what he did to his friend. He found his best friend, butchered outside of a small village. Ephidel swore revenge against Galbatorix for the crime that he had committed. He doesn't angre much, but when he does, most people coward from him. He doesn't know why he gets so enraged when it happens, but he gusses it has something to do with his past. Though it seems he doesn't care, he really cares about how others feel, and will do anything to help a friend if they are in need.

Character History: He was born in raised by so called guardians, but they were crule people. They abused him in more ways than one until the elder came and rescued him. The elder brought the cold empty boy out of his shell, and started to get him socialized and help him to cop with what happened in his past. The elder introduced him to two people, Noah, and Savania. All three of them became great friends, and the elder let them all live with him. Ephidel was glad to finally find people who cared for him, and he developed his skill with the blade and bow. It was a cold winter night when he discovered the ability to use the magic seal. He was training against Savania, and she used a spell on him that would stun him. Out of the blue he shouted words in the ancient language and her attack stopped. The magic seal had comeout of him. On the ground, was a small plate with those words inscribed in it. From that day on, he has been the sole bearer of the Magic Seal. The elder told him, though it's abilities were limited, to keep away from evil hands, because it could, if used correctly, sap the magic abilities out of people.

A few months later, a man named Galedrim riding a bronze dragon attacked the city. It was a surprise attack and several people were murdered. Ephidel, Noah, and Savania tried to fight them off, but the two were killed. Ephidel fled from Galedrim, thinking his friends were behind him. He turned around in horror as the bronze dragon consumed them. He then went to find the Varden, he for awhile had thought the Varden had it wrong, but after that event, he wanted the empire destroyed and justice to be brought.

Weapons: A large steel sword with an insignia in the shape of a dragon in its handle. It is very heavy, so he had to use both hands. He also has an oak long bow which has saved his life many times in the past. Also, the magic seal. It is a small plate colored black with the workds to seal away magic written on it. It glows a dark purple that goes outwards as it is activated.

Likes: Nature, his friends, dragons, and the Varden.

Dislikes: The empire, people who dislike others for what they are, and arrogance.

Character's Physical Description: He is somewhat taller than average, and a muscular build. His brown hair is really wavy, but it is not too long. He wears a tan vest, and other close of the Varden. He has a gold medallion Savania gave him around his neck before she was murdered. He also has several scars where his guardians had abused him both physical and mental scars. He has a black belt around him that he keeps the magic seal attached too along with his sword. He has somewhat pale skin, though it can tan easily.
