i may be thinking of harry potter but eragon has had so many close calls with death that you think he might have put some spell on himself to give eragon good luck but like i said sounds more like h.p. what do you think?

yeah, he could have put some type of ward around him, but now that broms dead.... well, i doubt it would work.

yeah, the idea of wards had popped into my head, but then i remembered that after death there would be no more protection, unless there was some other way, like natural magic, which is much more powerful, or something, but i doubt it.

Brom gave Eragon the best protection Eragon could ever ask for. Knowledge and skill.

actually, as good as that is, i think 20 of the most powrful elven magicians putting wards around him would be better, but i see your point.
