 The next rider.what traits/qualities does the next rider have to have?
i think the next rider has to be a girl, an elf, use magic, and be experienced in battle.which pretty much means arya in my case. what do you guys think that the next rider must have? _________________ I love guitar, lacrosse, and karate. MURTAGH FOREVER!!! Arya will be the next rider!!! I'm completely convinced and no one will change my mind. And she will get together with Eragon. |

Re: The next rider. Yeah I definitely think the next rider needs to be a girl (it's totally going to be Arya lol) with a fair bit of knowledge of the Ancient Language and in using magic

Re: The next rider. yeah for sure - if the next rider is going to help eragon during the battle against galb, then they're going to need to learn, and fast!

Re: The next rider. ive been thinking that for a while, so if it does happen like that, then it wont matter who gets it. but if it hatches b4 galby dies, then it will b arya.

Re: The next rider. but they're not apart of the elves and humans and dragons pact, so its impossible for a dwarf to become a Rider, and i dont think eragon would take all of the time needed to include them in the pact anyway.

I happen to think it's quite possible - even though it's not likely. It's been said all throughout the books that when dragons use their magic, almost anything is possible - even they don't understand how it works. The normal laws for humans and elves using magic don't seem to apply to dragons. It could be that the somehow Saphira will use her magic to somehow include the Dwarves into the spell, without knowing how? If this were the case, Orik would definitely be the Dwarf Rider. Just a theory of how if COULD be possible, although it's not that likely _________________ After all, how can a mere dragon expect to tell a man like yourself what to do?
