No, really, it is. This paper was just a way for the board of the college to get a sense of where the English 131 students are coming in. (Like they're actually going to read it, all they're gonna see are numbers on a page.  ) Basically we had to read a short essay in class, do a 5 question quiz on it, then in 48 hours right a response to it. My professor is awesome though, we took the quiz on Wednesday, and instead of making us have to do it then, she took up the reading and handed it back on Friday so we had a little over that to do it in. I wasn't pleased with my first essay. I finished it last night, and it looked like a bomb had exploded in my head or something, it was all over the place. *shakes head* Managed a rewrite though. Only took me like an hour. See? Kick me enough times and I'm really good. Many many months ago, a friend burned me a copy of one of his "screamo" CD's. Today I was feeling kind of annoyed, so I thought, "Oh what the heck?" and listened to it. And so it was that I discovered screamo music is very useful for studying French.  Idk why... Back into the same house we just moved out of, and I'll never see my cat ever again, and am not allowed to have a pet until I move out and get my own house. So that's really lame, but other than that it shouldn't be too horrible- I've only got two years before I can go to college and hopefully get a job. Going to try to go to AMDA, then I should be able to get a scholarship to go to college for creative writing. I'm hoping to get a doctorate in that.
Starting a blog about my whole family living together. It's going to be called Let's Play Happy Families or something like that. ^_^ |

I do read light novels, though.  The thing was at least forty feet tall. Best of all, there was a concert along with it... And Aaron Watson was the entertainer. I got his new cd, and he signed it afterwards. Lost track of the rest of the band, so I didn't get them to sign it. DX Also got a guitar pick, straight from the man himself, and a picture with him. I was about to say that three months is a bit fast, but it's a good decision to hold off the wedding for a few years. I bought a new CD today and went to ______ for a late Thanksgiving with my grandma's brother, his son, and his son's wife and kids. So what's everyone up to this weekend? I'm not sure, I might have to go on campus and work with my group on my essay. Oh, that's right, I didn't tell you guys. For my last essay in my English class this semester, I have to do a proposal with a group. Basically we all write 3pages, and when they're all put together, it's a proposal (we all write a different section.) And wouldn't you know it, the absolute last person I wanted in my group, ended up in my group. She didn't show up Wednesday when we all picked our groups, so when she came to class today, she told the teacher (in a rather snarky tone of voice, like it was the professor's fault) that she didn't have a group. Prof tells her to pick a group and see if they'll let her in. And this is where it's my fault, 'cause I could have said no, and now all my reasons for not saying no sound dumb. Anyways, she turned to me and asked if she could be in my group. Me (being the leader) says "Sure" out loud, mentally I'm going "NOOOOO!!!!" But now she's in my group, and it wasn't five minutes later, and I was wishing I had said "NOOOOO!!!!" out loud. ^If any of that made sense, I'll be surprised. My campus is huge and full of grades/hills/stairs. I don't even bother trying to park a decent distance from my classes anymore, I just park by the coliseum and walk. It's a 10 minute walk if I walk really fast, 15 if I just don't feel like getting it in gear.

I go to UC Santa Cruz, which is only 3 hours away from home, but I'm still out of my town and living on my own. I've liked it so far, though. You learn a lot.
