OOC: my first RP strain that I have started. hope it succeeds.

The cold wind blew into Faefnir's face, stinging his eyes. The Stag ran below him, clearly becoming tired despite the fact that it was extremely cold. Faefnir, I'm getting too tired. Can we stop? This wind is killing my joints. Faefnir never thought he would ask that. Absolutely, dear friend. Let me try to find some shelter or wood. Faefnir doubted he could see anything in this whiteout even with his keen eyesight. He would have lost the Stag a long time ago were it not for the fact that Faefnir could also see bloodflow with the right words. He landed by the Stag, who was now resting by a frozen river. I couldn't see anything. We will have to camp out in the open. He curled his wing around the Stag, making a tent. The Stag fell immediately asleep. Faefnir couldn't sleep even if he wanted to. Being on the outside, the cold was dreadfully affecting him. He reflected on what had occurred in the past few days.
For the past three days, Faefnir and the Stag were traveling north tracking a band of wild and insane dragons that escaped from the dragon mountain fortress. They would have been let alone and had Galbatorix deal with them were it not for one fact: they kidnapped his mate, Star gazer, as they escaped. For two days afterwards, Faefnir's eyes were red, but the further north they traveled, the more the cold extinguished his anger. Faefnir was only normal for about five hours now. But he still mourned for his Star gazer, even though he knew she was still alive. But what horrors she had been subjected to, he didn't know. Well, I have seen worse before, Faefnir thought. He was determined not to let her scars drive him into another tantrum like what happened last time as they were prisoners of Galbatorix in Uru'baen. With that thought, he wondered how Emrhyst's souvenir from the experience, her young hatchling who was fathered by Shruikan, was faring with the elves in Ellesmera. Those thoughts, however fell they may have seemed at the time, gave him solace. That solace gave him the sleep that the cold was preventing him from attaining. The cold harsh North gave few the luxury of sleep, which comforted Faefnir as he drifted into it.

OOC: yaaaay!!!! the primary figure is posting AND she thinks it's good! I feel so proud of myself right now.

As Faefnir awoke the next morning, the blizzard had passed and the entire field they were sleeping on was covered with snow. He shook off what snow had blown on him, then awoke the Stag. Although the ground was covered with snow, the sun was out, giving the morning a nice, relaxing feeling to it. He hoped Star had slept well and he hoped the day's beginning was a foreshadowing of the day to come.

OOC: of course. the more, the merrier. oh, and my eyes are not red anymore.

Faefnir smiled as Nysia and Sloane landed next to them. He bowed his head to them and the Stag did the same. When Sloane asked him about what happened, his eyes took a more sorrowful look. Well, young one, it's... He only knew them for a short time, so he still didn't trust them too much. But he decided it was alright to tell them. It's Star gazer. She was kidnapped by some rogue dragons at the dragon fortress. You know how I feel for her, so when the rogues started taking her north, I followed them. I'm going to rescue her. You two can join me if you wish. I would appreciate the company and the help when we do catch up with them.

OOC: Awsome. I'll join this too. Ceylonur= No one posts now.. =( Mountain arch= Eh.. whered every1 go!

IC: The wind rushed past her head. Her dragon's wings steadily pounded the air. The bells on the saddle bags jingled furiously. Her sheathed sword brushed against her side. Her pointed ears was filled with the sound of her dragon's breath. Her robe flew in the wind. It was so silent the rider could hear birds ten kilometers away. They were alone in the air. Emrhyst, now more matured with her pregnancy did not jest as often. She angled downwards towards a snowy plain. Eriel shielded her eyes with her left hand as they sped towards the ground. A great multitude of dragons surrounded a purplish-black dragon whom she immediately recognised as Star Gazer. Emrhyst roared and landed next to her, pinning a head which was gazing intently at the sky in the snow. She roared again.

OOC: ok, let's let Star post now. so the order will be me, Star, Lux, Eriel. so Lux, after Star posts, it'll be ur turn, then Eriel's, then mine. i'll skip this turn so we can establish that order.

ooc: hmm looks like a fun one but i cant think of a way to join.
hmm thats intersting mating one charry with another charry.

OOC: Sigh... I'll post tomorrow if no one does.

OOC: well, i'll post now so the order is established. so it'll go me, Star, Lux, Eriel. any newcomers must post after Eriel.

Faefnir smiled lightly at her. Well, come with me if you want to help. He took off and the Stag ran below him. A newfound determination took hold of Faefnir as he followed Star's trail. He flew faster than he could ever imagine, and it wasn't from his anger.

Star Gazer heard the rucus. Someone must have fallen for the decoy dragons. " Run!" Star Gazer roared louldy over the snow. Her color of scales evident. She wanted to escape their rath but she couldn't. The green dragon's tail slammed into her head, rendering her unconcious.

Emrhyst flicked her tail in anger. Her rider nocked her bow and took aim. Emrhyst leaped. Eriel fired. They repeated the procedure till there was only one left. The red dragon was the only one left. Emrhyts roared a challenge at him. Beside her, she felt Star gazer moan but she did not wake. In a rage, Emrhyst leaped and dug her claws deep into the red dragon's shoulders. Eriel climbed over to his head, drew her sword and plunged it deep into the skull of the red dragon. At the end of it all, they were weary, and tired. Star Gazer had not awakened and there was almost no shelter in sight. Emrhyst tried to carry her back to civilisation but she was too weak. She roared and succumbed to the snow. Eriel dismounted and casted a fire spell to warm all of them.

OOC: now it's Eriel's turn. she won't be on until later, at least my time, so RP elsewhere.

Eriel could faintly feel her moving. At first, fear filled her but then she remembered seeing a gold dragon land and realised it was Feafnir. She gently sat up and saw a land of snow around them. Snow on the ground, Snow in the air, Snow on the water, Snow capped mountains. She prodded Emrhyst then saw another dragon come flying in. It quickly took Star gazer. Eriel wanted to alert Feafnir but she was too tired too, instead, she used what little energy she had left to place a tracking device on her before the passed out again.

Eriel quickly got up after the loud sound made from the impact. Emrhyst jolted upright and flew into the air by instinct. She had barely gotten above Feafnir's head when she fell and hit the ground with a 'thud' Eriel quickly ran over to her and laughed. She was in a total mess. She laughed harder as Emrhyst snorted. She got up and examined her wing. One of the muscles were torn. So that's why.. She thought to herself.

Emrhyst nodded her head in agreement. Just then, she remembered the diamond on her head. Eriel, use the energy in te diamond to heal my wing. Eriel smiled a little and started the healing process. She marvelled at the amount of energy in it.

"We're in the wilderness... nearest outpost is 30 miles due east, nearest water source is less than a centimeter away." Eriel laughed then saw Emrhyst already melting the ice.

OOC-You mean Sloane? Not Lux, haha

IC-Nysia nodded. She turned to face the attackers. She spat flame and growled. Sloane drew her sword and held it in front of her. She didn't like fighting Dragons, but if she must. She reminded herslef that were like Fiyas and Jasara. They tried to kill.

Emrhyst landed in front of Star Gazer with a thud. She roared and bared her fangs at the dragons. Eriel nocked her bow and took aim. She started to gather magic for a spell which would peirce the dragon's scales.

Emrhyst took off after Star Gazer, purposely staying on the left so that any attack would have to get by her first. The dragons were hot in pursuit, Eriel took aim. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Feafnir land up ahead. A dragon came up, only to be shot in the eye. Beside her, Emrhyst heard Star Gazer's laboured breathing. Oh no..Not now!

Eriel looked at Star Gazer and laughed, "You gave us all quite a scare there." Emrhyst snorted then turned to look at the gathering dragons. If its going to come out it better come out now.

OOC: Eriel, you forgot that Lux comes after Star, not you. Please be careful about turns.

OOC: Oh so i did! XD sry.

IC: She isn't young! She's about five times as old as Eriel. Emrhyst laughed. Eriel turned to look at the dissapearing dragons. "Well then, we had better set up some defences."

Oh? If your young then i'm a... i'm a hatchling! Emrhyst laughed a little. Eriel looked at the ice wall. "I'll put up an earth barier here. Deloi Moi!" The earth groaned as it rose from the ground.

Eriel walked towards Star Gazer and laughed. "Your not fat, and your not old either. Your just... older then most of us here." She stressed on 'der' to prevent Star Gazer from fuming. Emrhyst nudged her. No dragon is fat, execpt Feafnir maybe. She laughed. And no dragon is old. Once again execpt Feafnir. She looked at Feafnir with a childish look in her eyes and laughed when she saw him glaring.

OOC: ok. who should play your character while you are away?

Emrhyst giggled slightly. Eriel commented, "Oh dear, look at that scale! Its definately from him! Look at it. Its gold with a tinge of grey!" She laughed slightly. "We should get a fire going."

Eriel gave Reb a blank stare as she made that remark then went over to her and ignited her palm in fire. She laughed a little, "Close confines phobia indeed." Emrhyst snorted and rolled her eyes as she saw the dragons trying to break into the ice, only to withdraw as it zapped the warmth from their body. Emrhyst curiously touched it and recoiled imediately, Feafnir, what did you do to that wall?

OOC: Sry it soooooo short. Can't think of anything to write...

IC:Eriel laughed slightly then folded her arms behind ehr head and fell asleep. Emrhyst kept watch and smirked as the dragons atempted to pierce the ice.

OOC: alright, let's wait for Lux now. if she doesn't post in a few days, i'll take my turn.

OOC: ok, my turn.

Morning came and Faefnir awoke at dawn as usual. He wished he could see the sunrise, as was his ritual, but the wall of ice that blocked the entrance made him unable to see outside. He was happy to notice that his special wards worked and not a single scratch could be found on the wall of ice. He nudged Star gazer. Wake up, sweetie. We best start moving south again.

Rider and Dragon woke up instantly as they heard Star Gazer's laugh, magnified hundred-fold in such an enclosure. "Hey whats with all the rackus?!" Eriel asked. Emrhyst rolled her eyes as she saw StarGazer rolling on the ground like a hatchling. We had best start moving, the dragons will be back soon.

OOC: I'll PM Lux and remind her that it's her turn here.

"As my dragon has said before, we should move out soon. I can almost see the dragons now." Eriel gazed at the north and saw a faint outline of dragons. 'Just waiting for us...' She thought. Emrhyst snorted, What now Feafnir, will we wait here to starve to death or will we leave this enclosure to meet those dragons.

Eriel mounted Emrhyst. She charged towards the dragons in a bid to shake them off Star's trail. It nearly worked. Several of the dragons turned to face her, only to be whacked on the head by their leader's tail. Emrhyst growled in irritation then followed them.

Emrhyst laughed as the mountain dragons collided. She waited still Star got out then dipped her wing to an angle. Eriel smiled and climbed over to the tip, holding onto a scale. 'I'm ready Emrhyst.' Emrhyst roared then swooped down on the dragons, Eriel drew her blade and pushed it deep into the bodies of the dragons. At the end of it all, when they rejoined the group, it was extremely bloody, you could almost say it was bleeding if you hanv't seen the stunt she just pulled. Eriel wiped the blade clean on her hand before washing the gore off with a water spell.

Nysia isnt flying too well. Emrhyst commented to Sloane. Eriel watched her wing intently, 'Nothing wrong there...' She thought to herself. She rubbed her hands then asked Sloane, "What's wrong with Nysia?"

OOC: pass. can't think of anything right now.

We could land now and put up the same defences. Emrhyst offered. Eriel bowed her head in thought, after awhile, she asked Feafnir, "Which element works best healing burns?"

OOC: A pass turn.
IC: Sounds good to me! Emrhyst nodded.

Emrhyst flew under Nysia. If you fall, I'll try to catch you. She said with a grin. Eriel laughed as a snowflake landed on her nose. Sne looked up at Nysia's eye and saw it swelling. "Careful Nysia, keep it steady, don't panic."

OOC: ok all, I'm gonna have to leave for nearly two weeks. going on vacation in California. Star, would you be so kind as to post for me?

" I know but it will be safer to heal you without flying." Faefnir said to her and then took a look at her eye. He determined it not bad. But not good. He looked at her and said the words of healing.
