Saphira - a young dragon who fancyed Glaedr from the moment of meeting him, finding a mate? I would say it had a chance, in Brisingr it hinted that she might find a mate, and in *Eragons Dream* in book one, there was two dragons flying in the sky. That also hints that another dragon (Greenie Or Thorn, mabye both) become free. And the fact that there where TWO taller people amoungst the crowd of people getting on the boat. Well, in any of the books they have not made a spell to make people taller, so I would suspect they would be elfs (Ether related or *in love*) because they where hand in hand. I think that proberly hints that it is Arya and Eragon, but eragon has a slight problem - he has to leave aligaesia and never return, so... where does he go?
And also (sorry if you are falling asleep from my proberly already discussed worries and quotes) And also the two taller people seem to be doing nothing to prepare the boat for its trip (if one) so I think that they are proberly the most highly thought of and ranked in the ship.
The person left behind? Sloan, or Eragon, or even Roran? I dont know!

Eggs
As I said at the top, Saphira might have eggs, and she might not, I doubt that she would have them with her nest mates, but Galbtorix's dragon was cursed right? When they kill-the-king mabey he will come free? He is of a old nest, mabey a relative of Saphira, BUT there is still a chance that she might take a fancy to him.
I dont know who what why where and when the fabled ending willl happen, BUT I do know for one thing - I need some body to help me make my random worries into a sensible pack of possiblitys!

black+blue= dark blue
green+blue= cobalt or turquoise

And lets not forget DNA. I am sure it would play similar tricks on dragons. If Saphira and thorn or other egg have recesive traits they could be passed on if both of them provide these DNA section. So in theory you could have a dragon of another colour if science works the same way in Alagaesia.

This is how you could be a child with blue eyes, but both your parents had brown eyes. The trick is that a grand parent on both sides must have had blue eyes. This could even go back even more.

Wow how did I foget DNA...

The big problem that we have is that we don't know how these colour traits in the dragons of Alagaesia work with there DNA. Which aspects of dragon are affected by what and how many markers affect it. Are the darker colours dominant has in humans or are they recesive.

And there also another point. Are all dragons of different colour part of different subspecies. We have many different kind of fish or a variety of sizes and colours, but they are not all compatible.

Saphira already feels sorry for him. Not to mention, tht she would be so moved if Thorn rescued the green egg and brought it to the Varden.

I think it would be sweet if Thorn made a promise to Saphira that he will put his life on the line for her and do everything he can to avenge Glaedr and make sure that Galbatorix will not come close to her. How do you think Saphira would feel if he said that to her?

If they have a purple daughter, she could mate with the green dragon.

I have no idea, (thats why I posted it.... durr me...) but galbys dragon didnt choose him, so, I would bet, two dragon eggs that he would come round after that, and do every thing within his power to go against galbys remaining servants (saphira might like him)

I don't think that is likley. But even if she finds someone to mate with, and the eggs end up mating with the green dragon, unless their going to start cross-breeding, i don't see how that could work

I think Shrewkin (sp?) will be good because christopher paolini will always make surprises in his books, and he is the 'unexpected goodie' in my terms.
