Anthor, Voenth, get behind myself and Braith, we do not know what these beings are, nor where they come from. Said Gornath protectively. He squeezed into the tunnel as far as he could go, then he heard a huge thud then another, and he knew, it is the hydra, they were comeing to kill them, and in this tight space, he would be at a disadvantage. He said, If you can use magic, then be ready, these beasts can use magic, but only weak magic, watch the hydra, they are more powerful than they seem. Then he began to fight.

With a huge roar, Braith began to attack the walls of the tunnel and had finally hollowed out a space, so that three or four dragons could fight in relative comfort in the confined space. He said, No-matter what happens, you have to get out of here, should I or Gornath falter.

Anthor and Voenth prepaired for battle behind their dragons.

Yessssssss, there they are, we will have them, sssstrike!! Kill them all, and bring me their flesssh! Said Nidhogg as he allowed his forces to rush aroung himself, to avoid harm.

Anthor and Gornath prepaired to fight the wolf-lizards. They ran at them and crashed into them with all the power of a dragon.

Voenth and Braith attacked the wolf-lizards with all thaie immense might.

OOC: If you want control Nidhogg, but don't kill him thatis Anthor's job. And, pass-turn.

OOC: Hmm, I think I will join an RP when a new one is made, you guys have gone pretty far in a lot of these RP's =D

OOC: You can make one of your own, but remember it has to change the charries in it, like in this one, Voenth will always have a limp, Anthor lost his first love, Gornath is going to come close to death, and Braith has learned how to become a bezerker.

Phalynx grappled with one of the hydras, and finally killed it with a powerful blow to the chest. The other suddenly rushed forward, knocking her backwards. Her light weight made it all the easier for the beast to send her sprawling onto the ground, and back into the main cavern on the edge. An enormous hydra jerked forwards, attempting to grasp her in its massive jaws, but its attack was deflected by Anthor. In the same second Anthor leaped away to fight it, Phal was on her feet and back in the smaller tunnel. She killed the other hydra with a strong blast of starfire.

Phal slaughtered all of the remaining wolf-lizards and the one hydra left alive in the collapsed tunnel, her scales glowing like a star and her eyes burning gold. She ran back out into the main cavern, dismayed at the sight of wolf-lizards and hydra flooding into it. It seemed almost overwhelming. What could she do? Phal growled and leaped into the air with a single powerful flap.

She could see the main tunnel that the army of wolf-lizards and hydra were using to get into the kalkara lands. There was only one tunnel going to this place from the outside that they could take. I have to destroy that tunnel, Phal thought, I have to kill the ones still coming, and prevent the entry of reinforcements. She flew into one of the tunnels that wolf-lizards were pouring out of, and fought her way in. The beasts slashed and clawed at her, and she sustained numerous smaller injuries. None, however, could keep her from her goal.

She made it to the end of the tunnel, where it joined with the main one. She began to fly along it, right over the heads of her enemies. She had to fly far enough down it that there were no other side tunnels leading into the kalkara cavern. Finally, using her sight, she passed the last such tunnel. Arrows and rocks were being flung up at her. Most deflected off her scales or were avoided by her agile flying. Some did not. She closed her eyes for a few moments, summoning power, and then let it out in the most enormous blast of starry flame she could muster. The fire hit the ceiling and completely flooded the tunnel, which was well over one-hundred feet high. The rocks burned and disintegrated in the powerful light magic, and the explosive force caused them to immediately begin falling. The tunnel started to collapse.

As Phal had just finished letting the starfire loose and was turning back to fly out of the tunnel in triumph, she felt a harpoon hit her directly in the lower chest. A gasp of pain escaped her jaws, and her wings locked for an instant. Instinct took over as Phal's mind and body were wracked with pain and choking coughs. Blood fell from her mouth and the wound in her chest. She began flying as fast as she could, desperately trying to escape the collapsing tunnel while her life's blood fell away. The only thing she could do was keep flapping her wings, flap, flap, flap... the pattern never ceased, it was all that existed. Just flap, flap, and the crippling pain. Phal realized she could not move her limbs save her wings, which kept flapping in the same pattern. Rocks fell around her, crushing the wolf-lizards and hydra, and eliminating the reinforcements of their army. Now it was up to those left in the cave to decide the fate of the battle. Phal realized as her vision dimmed that she wasn't going to be one of those in the cave.

She could no longer fly fast enough to avoid the falling tunnel. Her wings were finally weakening. She dove headlong into a side cavern, just large enough to fit her, and hid out of the way as the rocks crumbled and fell, filling the tunnel. It sounded like the end of the world. Finally, the roaring noise stopped, and the dust cleared. Phal looked up, and saw sunlight pouring in over the new canyon she had created. There was a small hole at the top of her cave. With one last desperate effort, she slipped through it in single burst upwards. She collapsed onto the rocks above, unmoving. The harpoon was still in her chest; she was too weak to even pull it out. Don't worry... keep fighting... she said weakly, not wondering if anyone could hear her as her vision grew dark.

OOC: Hmmm...... Seems I might just show the world Phal's special power here..... or maybe not, mwahahaha!!

OOC: Hmm, nevermind. I'm not gonna reveal it yet.

IC: Phalynx shuddered as the harpoon was removed from her chest. As she was wracked with tremors, her wings moved slightly, allowing anyone near her to see the horrible truth; there was a bleeding, circular wound in the top of her back as well, about the same width as the harpoon shaft. The ground was nearly covered in blood, her own blood.

Strangely, despite Phal's attempts to block the flow of energy, it managed to get through. She suddenly felt a burst of strength, but not just from Shyara... Phal's green eyes opened in shock. What was going on? She was supposed to die, but it was being stopped. Shyara's strength wasn't nearly enough to stop a wound like this, but it was nevertheless working to heal it. A different strength was replacing her lost blood and repairing her damaged lung, which had been pierced by the harpoon. What could it be?

Phal suddenly shot up, the wound gone. Her back and chest, as well as parts of her limbs, neck, and sides, were covered in dried blood. Her jaws and face were streaked with it, for it had been pouring from her mouth as it leaked into her esophagus. She spit out a large spatter of the red liquid, wondering what had happened.

The silver dragoness turned and saw an odd sight. The normally invisible indigo markings on the tips of her wings, painted on over a year ago by the Tribe dragons, were glowing. She could also see stains of other colors glowing on her body. The stains were black and white, just like the paint on the walls of the drawing room. Phal then realized: she had breathed it in when she sniffed the paintings, causing the dust to enter her lungs. Somehow, the magical painted markings on her wings and the magic paint from the walls had reacted together to save her in the emergency.

Shyara, it is miraculous! This paint, the indigo on my wings, is magical. It holds a vast reserve of energy for emergencies, and is always taking a little of my energy to stockpile. The kalkara's ancient paint must have been of the same sort, and it healed my collapsed lung because I breathed it in! And somehow the use of your energy stimulated the whole process! she exclaimed, joyous because she could not feel the pain anymore. Her strength had returned, completely.

Come! There is still a fight for freedom going on! We must save this land! she cried, her eyes glowing with gold light. Her scales glowed silver through the bloodstains.

OOC: Not so fast, Kit, I don't want to win this so easy....This has to be EPIC and I want it to be. So please edit the three hydra.

OOC: It's your turn, voenth.

OOC: Oh, sorry Draco, and thanks Kit And, No Anthor isn't going to die.

IC:
Voenth saw that the tide had turned aganst them, he saw the few remaining kalkara begin to flee through small tunnels in an attempt to escape, he also saw his friends; Gornath, Braith, Anthor, Kit, Shyra, Shyara, Phalynx, and Ecivres all fighting ferociouslyy, but for the most part in vain. If the wolf lozards and the hydras ever got a good bite on any of them, then the battle would be lost. He began to clear a path to Shyra, Kit, and Anthor. He began to gather the dragons to their small corner also. When he had done that, he began to weave a very powerful and complex spell, one that would save himself and his friends from harm, if it didn't kill him before it was cast.

Anthor couldn't tell why, but he began to make his way step by excruisationgly step out of the crevis(sp) toward a small corner in the huge cave. He saw that the kalkara were deserting, running in an attempt to save themselves from the ferocious wolf-lizards and the hydra. He looked up and saw that everyone in their group had begun to come to the corner that Voenth was standing in. He went and stood beside him and said, "A fine day to die is it not?"

Gornath continued to fight from the air, the wold-lizards and the hydra were to much for him to handel on the ground. But, in the air however, he was next to unstoppable, though he still recieved numerous cuts, scrapes ,and bruises, they were minor. He landed beside Anthor and Voenth and said, We are becomeing too few and too tired. I think there are too many.

Braith saw clearly for the first time in a while. The red coloring left his ees, and he took to the air, not to escape his foes, but to see about Voenth.

Nidhogg continued to urge his troops forward he lead from the back of the army, he was smart, he would allow the defenders to be worn down by his numbers of wolf-lizards, then he would crush them all.

OOC: This is going be short, writers block...

IC:
Anthor and Vonth began to weave a spell, one powerful enough to bring Ki, Shyara, Shyra, Ecrives, and Phalynx to them, so the could sand together, and hopefully demoraize the wolf-lizards to create a way of escape, or maby even a victory.

Braith and Gornath stood on the outside of the group attempting to hold the masses of enemies at bay.

Nidhogg began to smile, all the draogns and their riders were isolated, as long as hey coudld keep them seperated, then they would lose. He began to urge his troops to greater efforts, to kill the last of the resistance.

OOC: Pass with Gornath, he is still out cold.

IC:
Anthor tried to fight the huge hydra, but every time he blocked it, another head came around and forced him to try to stop it also. He was bleeding in many places from the small cuts that had been inflicted upon him earlier. The older ones he had failed to heal earlier, were re-opening. If he did not end it quickly, then he cold bleed to death. He attacked with all his might, his eyes, slowly turning red.

Voenth and Braith, flew as hard as they could over to Gornath. They stood their ground around him, protecting him from almost eevery attack. Voenth saw the horrendus wounds all over Gornath and realized with some sadness, that he didn't have enough energy in him to heal them.

Phalynx attacked a hydra that had begun approaching Gornath. It was a young one, and had only survived the fight thus far because of its inconspicuousness compared to other hydras. It was smaller than Phal herself. She landed on its back and snapped its spine with the force of hitting it. She then flapped over to Gornath to assess his wounds.

Gornath? she said, immediately concerned when she started to look at his wounds. There were many, and several looked very severe. She landed softly by his head and nosed it gently, trying to get a response. We have to help him, she said, bending to inspect the larger injuries, These wounds could make him bleed to death. Some of the gashes seemed to be very large, and bleeding profusely.

OOC: I hope I didn't godmod, I just assumed that Gornath would have some major slices taken out of him?

OOC: No worries, as long as you don't kill him, lolz!

OOCl: I think I'm going to pass, because Ecivres is still holding the ceiling up and rest are pretty much just defending Gornath

Voenth continued to run towar the exit. He cried out to the rest to follow him. When he got there, he began to attack with a great ferocity to buy enough time for the rest to escape.

Braith flew over to Ecrives and with his extra size and strength, helped hold up the cavern. All the while, he burned any wolf, lizard, or hydra he could see.

Anthor was flung all the way to the opposite end of the cavern, but when he hit, something clicked in him. His eyes turned blood red and he commanded Gornath, gánga. Then, Anthor turned back around and began to run toward the hydra. His anger, controlling his every movement. He no longer felt pain or soreness. He no longer cared about injury or death, his only goal was to kill, kill the hydra, kill anything that was unfortunate to get in his way. He leapt up into the air, it was a huge leap, one that was rare even for elves, and landed upon the hydra. He began to hack and slice at the beast with all his might. He would never give up, he had lost too much already.

Gornath, full of hurt and anger flew to the entrance after Anthor commanded him to go. He flew to the very edge, then began to fight it. He was able to go back in, but no where near Anthor, he helped to try and hold up the cavern with Braith and Ecrives.

Nidhogg roared angrily when the human got up and ran backl at him. He tried to catch the human in his mouth, but missed. The human began to cut and slice at his back, but years of trainin helped Nidhogg. He turned around and grasped the human by the leg and threw him on the floor and prepaired to crush the annoyance.

Anthor screamed out in rage when th ehydra flung him on the floor, but he had sense enough to roll out of the way when the beast tried to crush him. He stood up and began to slash at ti again, with both his swords. He was bleeding all over from the hundreds of cuts and scratches he had recieved from the fight, but so was the hydra. He once again flung himself at the beast and felt the sickening crunch when both his swords struck their mark. Right in the hydra's heart. The best began to fall, but Anthor was too busy trying to get his swords out. The hydra's huge body fell upon Anthor, almst completely crushing him in the process. Anthor passed out, with his swords in his hands and the hydra on top of him.

OOC: Anyone who wants can save Anthor, the RP will soon be finished.

OOC: Well, I suppose I shall since I'm next. lol

IC: The heads of the hydra struck in and out at Shyara, and Phalynx used the distraction. With an enormous effort, she ripped open the hydra's back with her foreclaws. It let out a loud screech of pain as Phal gripped its spine in her teeth and wrenched her head back, breaking it. The beast fell to the floor, dead. Phal jumped off, flapping her wings. She spit the blood and bits of bone out of her mouth in disgust, a little revolted by the way she had killed the beast. But it had to be done.

She saw that Ecivres, Braith, and Gornath were struggling to hold the cavern up. Time was running out; Phal had to make sure everyone was ready to escape. Kit and Shyra were on Shyara. Voenth was waiting near the exit for the rest of them. The other dragons were holding up the cavern. Where was Anthor? Phal glanced around, wondering why he wasn't with Gornath. She noticed then that the magical connection between them was repulsing Gornath, rather than attracting him as usual. She followed it until she located his rider, who was laying on the ground beneath the huge hydra he had killed.

Anthor! Phal cried, flying over as fast as she could. With a grunt she managed to lift away the huge hydra, and rolled it away from the rider. She picked him up gently in her claws, careful not to worsen his injuries. As she flew towards the others, she began a healing spell for Anthor, pulling the magic from the air around her and turning it into healing magic. She used some of her strength to repair his most life-threatening injuries, but couldn't risk doing an more. Everyone! Let's get out of this place! she cried, hovering near the exit and waiting for the others to go.

OOC: If it is ok with you two, please just wait on me for this one, I wana finish it, but cant because I am grounded, please wait on me...

Kit nodded his head and began healing the lesser wounds on his good friend.

Shyara shook her head, I can't, I've never had that ability, all I can do is offer my strength.

OOC: sorry short

"Sorry, I meant Shyra. I am very sorry." Said Voenth as he concentrated both his and Braith's energy into a powerful healing spell. He began to heal the most serious mounds and repair the arteries. His many years of studying humans, elves, dragons, and dwarves had given him an extensive knowledge of where certain arteries were or veins. He continued to heal his fallen studdent and friend.

Braith poured his energy into both Voenth and Anthor, hoping to stop the energy inside of Anthor from completely leaving.

Gornath roared loudly, a sad roar as he poured his energy into Anthor.

Anthor could feel his broken body healing, but he couldn't do anything.

OOC: Pass, After Anthor is healed, we will end this one.

Phal repaired all of the damage she could see, working as quickly as she could to heal her friend. She molded the magic to fit the damaged areas, and then grafted breaks and reattached broken tissues. It was rather taxing work, for unlike most healers, Phal couldn't feel the damage with her mind and simply will it to be healed. She had to examine everything carefully and decide how best to repair everything. She would never have been able to work swiftly enough to heal Anthor on her own. He is getting better. With all of us working like this, he should be fine, she stated encouragingly after finishing another deep wound.

OOC: lol Phal's like a surgeon. This was a fun rp.

OOC: It was an extremely fun RP, and the first EPIC finished, lolz.

IC:
Voenth continued to heal Anthor, each wound he healed was slightly less serious than the lans and that was a good thing. He looked up at the rest of the group, all concentrating on their friend. He was very glad to be around such a close-knit group of friends. When he judged that Anthor's condition had stabalized, he stood up. He stretched and said, "I wish to thank you for all your help, Anthor would be dead right now were it not for you, but i think it is time we returned to the islands, we have been gone far too long, the elves, humand, and dwarves here now have a fair chance of survival now that the armies of the hydra are dead." He hefted Anthor up on his shoulder. He then gently placed the unconscious rider on Gornath's saddle and walked over to Braith. He climbed up on Braith's back and they set off ahead of Gornath and the others to make sure the way was safe.

Braith stopped giving Anthor his energy when Voenth motioned for him to stop, the drain was great, but he stiolll had enough energy to get back home. He watched as Voenth thanked the rest of the group and then he did likewise. He said, I too would like to thank you for your assistance, were it not for you, we would all be dead by now, if you ever are in need of help, you only have to call. Then he began to fly away

Anthor's eyes flickered. He knew they he would be ok, if not sore for a wwhile, but he in the brief moment he had regained consciousness said, " ... T- Thanks ... I- I- I would ... have died ... were it n- not for you ..." Then he passed out once again. He was placed upon Gornath's back.

Gornath felt a tear leave his eye when he saw that Anthor was ok. He was exhausted, but he knew that he had to get Anthor home so he could rest. Once Anthor had been placed on his back, Gornath said, Thankyou, I appreciate all your help, I will repay your kindness one day, but not now, Anthor is in great need of rest, as am I. Then he took to the air, his wingbeats strained because of his exhaustion, he was going home ...

OOC: Shall we all take one last turn? I'd like to end it for myself, as I'm sure Kit would as well. And then you can write the end, voenth, unless you're satisfied with that last post.

IC: Phalynx finished her work on Anthor's internal injuries. When they were finished, she took one last look at the rider to see if he was trully alright. Satisfied, she leaned back on her haunches for a few moments to rest, feeling a small headache from the effects of her extreme concentration. I am happy to have helped you, my friends, she replied to Braith, Anthor, and Gornath, You all know that I will help you whenever you need it as well. In fact, if you're ever in danger, I'll probably show up. But you are right, it is time we returned to Alagaesia. Our friends and family, and the innocents of our homeland; they need our help now. Phal raised her head and wings majestically, and bounded into the air with a single leap.

Farewell! I am needed elsewhere, now! We will meet up again very soon, though! she cried as she sped away, for she could already feel a small tug on her body. Her instincts, and her magic, had always guided her to where she was needed, and they were doing so now. There was no time to waste. Phal disappeared into the distance, fading until she looked like no more than another star in the sky.

Anthor half jumped, half fell off of Gornath's back. He limped over to his room on the isle of Sharktooth and sighed, He was home.

Gornath knealt down on the large room that was both his and Anthor's sleepih quarters on their island city and fell into a deep slumber.

Voenth waved a "goodbye" to Braith as the orange dragon flew away and started walking North, to the elven city of Ellesmera to alert the queen and get help for those left at the Land beyond.

Braith flew as fast as his wings could carry him, he had been gone far too long, he landed in front of his small island off the coast of Sharktooth and walked into the cave, to tell his mate of the events of late.

WOW, that was an awesome RPG.
