Re: brom
yea i kinda doubt it was islanzadi because i dont think her brother gould have been garrow and why would the elf queen go to carvahall? PLUS that would make eragon part elf and arya's brother , but i know why thats not possible cuz i know who his dad is and who is brother is cuz ive read the second book too

Re: brom
reasons why it is Selena through Brom is Eragon's father:
Brom said, “She was full of dignity and pride, like Garrow. Ultimately it was her downfall, but it was one of her greatest gifts nevertheless. . . . She always helped the poor and the less fortunate, no matter what her situation.” He answered to Eragon’s question, “You knew her well?”, “Well enough to miss her when she was gone.” Also, Blagden said “Son and father alike, both as blind as bats” after being asked what his first prophesy ment. This denotes that Blagden had met Eragon's father. Morzan had never gone to Ellesmera, though Brom had. On pg. 435 of Eragon, Angela saya, "He (Brom) loved a woman, but it was his affection which was her undoing." So what happened was she was carrying Brom's child and Morzan found out. She went to Carvahall and had Eragon. She then ran off, running from Morzan, was caught, and then killed. This enraged Brom and Brom went and killed Morzan. Later, he went to Carvahall to keep an eye on his son, Eragon.

Re: brom
AND the Bantering begins: (Friendly bantering that is; brings out Brom's lost sword.)
I do not believe for a second Morzan found out about Selena's pregnancy. I'm short on time tonight, but I will post the whole excerpt tomorrow afternoon. If I am not mistaken, Selena disappeared and no one knew where to or why. When she returned Morzan had already been killed by Brom.

Re: brom
very nice. we shouldn't argle-bargle though. (lol. that was my 7th grade science teacher's favorite word. he's also the headmaster of that school and a Benedictine monk. awesome guy. very eccentric. likes cacti.)

Re: brom
She is dead Scarecrow. She died 14 days after she returned from her "dis-appearance" or her unannounced "vacation."
Check out pages in Eragon. 387-389. Murtagh tells the story to Eragon!!!

Re: brom
CP is a young author. Only a very experienced one can give a plot a twist like that, and I don't think CP would risk it at this early stage of his career. I'm not saying he's not capable, but it's highly unlikely.
The only character that fit in the story plot as it is developing would be Brom. AND I LOVE AND SUPPORT the idea of Brom being Eragon's father!!!!

Re: brom
i don't think it was islanzadi. selena seems very fitting. ya know, for brom to like her? but i don't think it's going to effect anything, knowing who brom liked. but i do not think brom is eragon's dad!!!! it just doesn't make any sense to me. the book is more exciting when you find out that morzan is eragon's dad. but i mean, that's just my opinion and i know plenty of people who disagree.

You are most like BROM
You are indeed wise and experienced! You may encounter foes along your path and you are definitely brave enough to face them. However, you are wise enough to know when you can avoid a fight and save your energy. Your keen ability to think on your feet, resourcefulness, and ability to make allies are skills invaluable in any conflict. http://alagaesia.com/characters/index.html
