Character Personality: friendly, outspoken, short-tempered, naive, often nosy and clingy, due to lack of news and friends growing up, self-suffiecient, curious, rebellious, sometimes show-offy, intelligent, eager to learn magic, likes to laugh, easily entertained, easily offened, defensive, a tad territorial at times. like Eragon, she gets premonitions, though these replace regular dreams. they come frequently, and, although she's not sure, she mught have predicted her father's murder. she dislikes Urgals to the point of utter loathing, but will only attack when provoked. this, unfortunately, does not take much. she, like the dwarves, has a soft spot for precious gems, but does not let that weakness overpower her judgement. she prefers logic to any other kind of decision making, and does not trust people easily. she often keeps quiet about herself, diverting personal questions as much as possible. her bubbly personality has often made people overlook her avoiding this topic, but it has not always worked. her love of living things is perhaps the only thing that will inevitably get to her; she will sacrifce most to assure whatever-it-is survives. she is semi-literate; she can read and write the anchient language (sorry I don't have a proper term, people are borrowing my books), but cannot read or write human and dwarvish runes. this is a great setback, for it leaves her quite gullible when buying things from seedy merchants, but in most cases she can see through such. she can be quite serious, though it is a side rarely seen of her. she can see through most shams and people, a trait she somehow obtained.

Character History: used to live in the mountains with family, but left, and wanders. she doesn't know much about people, or news, so she's usually trying to ferret infromation out of everybody she comes across during her travels. due to her famliy in hiding, she had a very lonely childhood, caring for sick animals and exploring the nearby rocky areas. when doing this, she was somehow able to touch the minds of the animals she found. this helped later with her magic skills, though she doesn't know how it happened. she also gained a good knowledge of rocks from her expeditions. she was taught by her mother everything she knows, excluding the human tounge, and would often stay up reading scrolls by moonlight. she learned what little magic she knows from her mother, who later died of illness. Her father was killed by and Urgal while she was exploring one day. she was 10 years old. she stayed in the mountains for two more years, then left. she now wanders around, self-suffiecient. her thirst for knowledge was what drove her out of hiding. during those two years she stayed, she was in a deep depression, sometimes going a day or two without food, drink, or sleep. though she has mostly gotten over this, seeing corpses triggers a relapse. it took her long to traverse the Hadarac Desert because she was travelling by foot. the wolf, Moonchaser, she found when she was five. he had a broken right front paw, and after it healed, he loyally follows and protects Aiedail.

Character's Physical Description: tall, slender, wears a powder blue dress that fits like a glove, small nose, freckled, has a scar near her elbow from where she slipped on a sharp rock, has good senses of hearing, smell, and sight, has a light tan, long legs, not-so-long-but-still-not-short arms, sometimes has back problems, hair often hides ears, which are not pointed, carries bow and quiver full of arrows, often hungry.

Dreams for the Future: to join the Varden and to see Galbatorix defeated

unless you happen to be very good at creating names off the top of your head, taking names from another source is normal. in fact its eclectic. and how used is aiedail? unless you have done an indepth study on names, or your mum's name is aiedail, you prob wouldnt hear it very often.

I haven't been on lately...mostly because of my serious cases of writer's block.

and as for the name, I'm really not good at creating names off the top of my head...and I had titled a rather cute anime drawing I did Aiedail (don't ask me why), so...that and I kind of forgot the name of the Northern Star, Polaris... worst memory ever...

but I'll work on it more...I hope...my several-hour-long rp sessions should have fixed my writer's block...I hope.

...DARN YOU WRITER'S BLOCK!!! I unfortunately, have no creativity when it comes to names, alothough can be quite creative when it comes to anything else about that character. really, all but one other rp character had outside influence for the name. and here they are:

It was the character's name before it was changed. Glenwing thought it was too obvious, un-inventive etc. but I liked it. Never mind.

thanks...ok, I'll tell you, it's close to my real name. I like my name, though it usually seems so odd in stories, and only my parents and I can pronounce it right... so I just spelled it the way that most people pronounce it, minus a few letters. it IS more original, eh?
