Re: Pirates of the Caribbean
There are already several topics for the older Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Please keep this topic strictly to "On Stranger Tides" or move it to one of these topics...

I will definitely be there, whenever it's out. =]
I wasn't a fan so much of the third movie, but that was mostly because of the Will+Liza subplot. Now that they're gone... =]

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
Basically I watched it sometime during the summer because I learned that Orlando Bloom played Legolas. Then I decided that I actually liked it. I love the Will+Liza subplot, but I guess there really isn't room for it in the fourth movie, 'cause it's already been resolved. But I'll definitely be there with my dad!

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
I honestly think this one looks kinda silly and not nearly up to par with the other films. I don't really understand why they are still pursuing this enterprise but we shall see when it comes out I suppose...

Yess, come faster, May 19th!
Yeah, the Fountain of Youth is kinda old and silly, but who knows, Jack Sparrow might end up making it good....I hope....

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
Pirates of the Caribbean is out today. Though I'm a little concerned. The critics are rating it as an average movie. (Around 3 out of 5 stars) So I hope that it doesn't become a flop.
The soundtrack is great though. I love it.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
I thought it was pretty good, I'm glad they got rid of Bloom and Knightly. I had expected it to be bad and have the same sort of things as the last 3 films- and to an extent it did, but I suppose that's the style of the Pirates films. Not amazingly fantastic, but still good and worth seeing.

It's a bit annoying how they've changed some actors though.

I thought the Dead's Man Chest was the best.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
This was definitely my favorite out of the four. I'm kind of torn between whether or not it will continue, because Jack Sparrow was talking about a 'Pirate's adventure never ends', or something along those lines. This leads me to believe that they will still go on adventures and whatnot, but there won't be a fifth movie.

They have changed the characters around a bit for film four as well.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides
They did, but I approve of the changes, because Will and Elizabeth's story had gone far enough, especially if you'd seen the after-credits scene of At World's End.
