Once I revisited the series and "heard" them by Gerald Doyle I was able to appreciated better. I have lost count the times I have listened to the poem Eragon wrote and to this day, it still does not make any sense to me! :shock: _________________ ~.~.~.~.~.~

I do not think any one of us were criticizing you for loving poetry. It's just that we could not relate the "allegory" of the poem to Eragon's life. It chronicles some of the adventures he's had so far and says stuff that might happen in the future. I don't have my book with me at the moment, but it said something about... many years later the king (ERAGON) was unaware and the shade (GALBATORIX OR MURTAGH) killed him and they went to the land of shadows together.
