getting married isn't life or death to me. we are happy, and devoted to each other.
we have our own house, and are doing pretty good for so young (hope nothing happens to cause us to lose anything). we practicly are married. just no paper or preist. but i do consider God part of our relationship. heck, he brought us together.

you don't have to be hip or cool, what are those words but a couple of adjectives and labels, don't let anyone label you, because your not just that girl or that guy you are a person FLESH AND BLOOD and most of us have a brain and our own opinions which make up our own unique personalities. Being on top of fashion or movie or music or whatever the blah doesn't make you cool and really doesn't impress your friends and though it might sound broken record style BE YOURSELVES for crying out loud, because that is how you gain respect from other people and most of all how you gain respect of yourself! And that is truely all that matters is having respect for yourself and respecting others no matter what they choose for themselves. WTF when someone finally realizes this everything is so much easier, it was for me anyway and at my high school I might not be the smartest or the most athletic or the most popular or the most beautiful but I am one of the most respected and people value my opinion and help only because I am myself and I tell people how it is and I am not afriad to, and I also help everyone that needs it and don't mind to because that is how I am and proud to be.

and I know I barely started in o this topic and decided not to read all 27 pages but what I did read was about best friends leaving without saying goodbye, well, look at it this way, it takes a LOT and a mean A LOT of courage to tell someone goodbye and let me tell you, I don't, and probably never will, even when I am just talking on the phone or whatever I don't say goodbye I say something like See Ya later, talk to you later or something along the lines of that. And just keep in mind that it is really hard to say goodbye to someone you love like a friend or relative and to me the are all the same, I'm not saying it was right but I do understand your friend's situation sort of.
