The shady background characters in any story are who I usually expect to have a really important part in the end of it. So yea, it could be any of the people you listed there, angela for ryder.

No they wouldn't all have sped up life cycles. Galby has simply grown thorn really fast himself using a instantaneous spell and used spells to get rid of the side-effects. This spell will not affect any of thorn's kids as it is targeted at thorn and it does change his biology..

Besides, dragons are immortal unless they die from disease or a person intentionally kills them, so even if the spell was passed down, it would kind of help the dragon race, making them reach adult-hood faster than ever before.

It dosen't matter as the spells won't passed down galby has simply sung thorn's body bigger not made spell that means that he grows quicker.

so if the spell only makes thorn bigger he's like a giant hatchling

So basically around 6 months considering we don't know the exact time Eragon spends with the elves. Actually probably a bit less I would think between 4 months and 6.

It could be however this is also probably one of the screw-ups in the books. When Eragon comes back to the Fathen Dur he says he has only been away a couple of months but in the book in takes several weeks fro him to get to Ellesmera and he is training for at least 2 months.

yes there is proof selena is dead. in book 3 i believe it said when morzan died she died a few weeks later. As if she couldn't live with her master dead. But its an interesting theory

selena could have faked her own death and still be alive somewhere. And selena couldn't have been wolf - eyes because he would have recognized her from the fairth oromis gave her

She could have been reincarnated or the memory of her could still linger places. With the magic there, anything is possible.

The chances of her being alive are pretty much non existant. If she were still alive we probably would have seen something of her. I don't think she would wait to see Eragon.

Magic in Alagaesia is not the same as magic from lets say Lord of the rings in the books there is no evidence of reincarnation or ghosts. The closest thing is spirits but Arya points out that we do not become spirits after we die.

we cannot prove they don't become spirits when they die. Spirits can't communicate with us and thus cant tell us who they are. And yes selena might wait to see eragon

The magic in Alagaesia has done countless things that no one can explain. No one can say that there aren't ghosts or anything of the nature. The only thing left for Selena would be to find protection or hide. She would be caught and returned to Galby if she stayed in the Empire and even though people despise her in the varden she could still help her son.

1. They CAN communicate with spirits they CAN'T predict how they will react. Arya says that we DO NOT BECOME SPIRITS after we die.

2. Brom explains that magic means nothing in 'the lands of the dead' and if any one uses there strength to try and bring someone back from the dead they die. There are no records that prove that a ghost has ever been in Alagaesia anywhere in the books.

Just because there i no proof doesn't mean they don't exist. They can BARELY communicate with spirits. They have to use the simplest terms and even then it is really really difficult and most times almost impossible.

1. I think it's unlikely that CP is going introduce ghosts in the last book as for proof I could say Alagaesia was a piece of land in the middle of pacific which was going to be invaded by the U.S.A there is no proof to the contrary this dosen't mean however that my assumption is right.

Just because CP doesn't introduce them doesn't mean they aren't there. It just means that they aren't important and don't affect the other characters. Things also depend on whether they believe in ghosts and if Eragon doesn't that would just mean another conflict for him.

Disprove that Alagaesia isn't an undiscovered continent on neptune and I will accept that there are ghosts in Alagaesia. Just because CP dosen't mention something dosen't mean it's true, equally it dosen't mean it's not true. However that's not a basis for arguing a that something is true this is because using said argument you could claim almost anything about Alageasia in fact you could make contradictory claims and both would be right using that logic.

I just mean that if there are spirits in Alagaesia than there could be something just as similar to them.

if they amend the pact between dragons elves and humans to include dwarves then it could be Orik, however since there is no one to do that (as far as I know) its most likely not going to be him so.. I suppose I will choose Angela since she is already versed in magick and the like to an extent..

I don't think any dwarf would want to have a dragon.

Orik did express that the dwarves were foolish for their history of holding grudges, against the dragons and basically everyone else. And was rather powerful in his speech about how if the dwarves had been a part of the pact then maybe they would be better off. Which got a reaction from a few of the other dwarves present. Furthermore he expressed to Eragon directly during their flight together that he could see why Eragon would enjoy the freedom of flying with Saphira (though he also states that its not natural for a dwarf to ride a dragon most likely out of fear of the height they would be flying at)

He also says that he would rather stay on the ground.

I don't think that there will be a dwarf rider. Of that list I think that the most likely person for rider is Roran.

him being a werecat is one good reason why he might be a rider

we don't know what words are used in the spell and in the pact it could just be that only elves and humans are allowed too touch an egg.

It coul be Angela.She's the only character who is the least "obvious"to become a dragon rider,but she does magic things with dragon bones why should a dragon hatch for her?Isn't it a little insulting for dragons?

What? ask a dragon for it's knucklebones. I can see that working. "Excuse me dragon can I chop off a paw, crippling you for life just so I can get some dragon knuckle bones." I think it's more likely she retrieved them from a battlefield.

1.Oromis might not of told eragon about that rider or he may not of even known about him/her.
2.She could of switched her kind of magic, just stopped using one kind and started using another.

3.And brom him his shinningpalm while in carvahall.
