OOC: This is my first attempt at an epic rpg, so let me know if I do something wrong.

IC:Anthor and Gornath had been traveling in search of new lands and friends. They had been flying for almost two days when Gornath said, "I have to land, I can't keep flying like this, if we don't find land soon we will perish in these waters."

When they finally sighted land, they noticed that you could only see the very edge of what seemed a great peninsula. They landed and saw that there were no signs of inhabitants or anything for that matter, there were no trees, birds, and even the waters around it looked dismal and dead. What they didn't notice were the small, sharp, cruel eyes of the owners of this land, they had been waiting for a chance to get back at the dragons that had killed their kind and now was their chance. They were ready and their plot was simple, seperate the oddly tall two leg from the fire breathing whte winged one.

After he had rested Anthor was in high spirits, they had made the flight accross the Great West sea and that was a feat that hadn't been heard of. They were in an unknown land, but so what, they were on land and that meant that food had to be somewhere around. He had been searching the surrounding area for any sticks, branches, or really anything to make a shelter to spend the night in, when a small, wirey, and strong hand cupped over his mouth and waste. He tried to break free of his captor, but more and more came untill he was immobalized by the number of small bodies that chattered in an unknown tongue. He knew that he was in trouble so he tried to contact Gornath and found that he couldn't talk with his mind, or use the ancient language. He was hit in the head by something dull, and he passed from consciousness. When he woke up he was in the middle of a large camp, there were small fires all over the place, he noticed that he was tied onto a stake in the middle of the camp, there were small hobbit-like creatures running all over the place, they were very ugly, and looked as if they had bene starved for many years, they had almost no hair and their skin was gray.(Just imagen smeagle form Lord Of The Rings, and this is what we are dealing with.) He knew that he had to get out quickly or he would not last long whth these people, and that they looked really hungry, he hoped that they just looked hungry.


Gornath was on the beach waiting for Anthor when he noticed that their connection had been broken, he immediately went to the skys, but he couldn't see anything, he was very destressed, he knew that Anthor was a great fighter, but he was still a hatchling and that meant trouble, he called with his mind to any and everything, saying, "Help, I don't know where my rider Anthor is, IF YOU TOOK HIM I WILL ANIHILATE YOU! Just then hundreds of small hideous creatures burts out of the fog, they swarmed up his legs, he upt up a good fight, but in the end they were just too fast and too many. They got on his back and the small iron tipped cudgles came into play they began to distract him while others climbed up his neck and finally knocked him semsless.

Aye, we have to if we are ever to leave this place. Gornath began to think, and listen, he could tell by the sounds outside, that they were in no immediate danger, so he tols Phalynx, I am going to rest, you should do the sme, a mind is better when well restd.

Anthor continued to follow the unknown human, she was so beautiful, he thought. He had been running after for some time when he noticed that she had come to an ubrupt stop, then he saw it, it was a huge dying gryphon, she knealt(sp?) down beside it and wispered something in its ear. She then turned to face him.

OOC: Sorry about leaving you hanging like this, I really lost my train of thought............

OOC: That's okay. I'm sure you'll find it again quickly. (Trains are rather hard things to lose, you see.)

IC: Sure. I'm going to keep investigating this, Phal said. She sniffed the place on the wall that had recieved her flame. Her infrared vision was correct, however: there was no leftover heat. The wall, it seemed, was impervious to high temperatures, at least to a certain degree. Perhaps there was a way to break through it once the breaking point was reached. Or, perhaps Phal could manipulate the magic on the wall enough to make an area she could escape through once she destroyed the wall. But in order to do that, they'd need somewhere to escape to. The walls behind them led into more rock. There was another wall in between them that could be broken.

Phal examined the gates again. No, they'll capture us to easily if we go through that way. We'll have to escape out the sides, she thought. She turned her head to the other side of her cell. That part of the rock led to more rock as well. Okay, one more chance, she thought hopefully, turning to look at Gornath's other wall. Yes! Gornath, I think I know how we can escape! she cried. In the back corner of Gornath's cell, the one near the opposite wall from her, the stone led into an open space. And what was even better was that there were huge boulders in front of the space, so their captors would not be able to follow them easily.

Phal decided to test the first implement of her plan: manipulating the magic enough to burn an area big enough for her to fit through, and Gornath later.

Gornath rose from his position, with a small grunt. If it will get us out of here I will try anything!.

The woman turned with her dragon drawn, ready to attack, when she saw that he too was a human, she grabbed him by the hand and led him to a small village. He asked, "Where are we and who are you?" She never answered but brought him to a small house.

OOC: Pass turn
(Anyone else that wants to can join, kinda lonely since I have writers block atm...so, ILS, Aeraldi, Daidrea, Red???, Anyone??!)

OOC: okay, I'll join. Do you want me to wait till after Draco has posted? or just go ahead and go?

OOC: Might as well wait on her so that we can keep the order.

Phalynx landed gracefully in a clear space in the village, showing a little more poise than Gornath had, in his eagerness to reach Anthor. I'm relatively fine, other than just escaping the captivity of those foul little beasts. It's good to see you are alright as well, Gornath was very worried, she said, her eyes twinkling with amusement. That was a huge understatement; she had felt Gornath's anxious concern radiating off him.

So, I'm guessing the humans here aren't exactly on friendly terms with those creatures. What do you know about them? Phal asked curiously. Perhaps they would be more effective against the small human-ish creatures with a respectable fighting force.

OOC: Cue entrance of Kit and Shyara. lol

Kit was flying with Shyara out between the Southern Isles when the Boar's Eye caught Shyara off guard.

It sucked her down into its depths. She flapped her massive wings and tried to fly against the wind currents but gained nothing. Suddenly her wing caught the edge of the water and her and Kit were sucked out of the funnel of air and into the raging, swirling water. She couldn't hold her breath through the torrent and Kit was slipping off. She could do nothing and her only thought was Is this the end? Then something should could not exactly explain happened.

Kit grip was slipping in his saddle and he was about to ripped off of it and be lost to the sea, when suddenly everything changed. He was in some place black expanse; he had no feeling and could not see anything; it was freezing cold, a cold that penetrated his very bone marrow. He had no perception of time in this black nothing, nor could he see, feel, or contact Shyara. He could not breath any fresh oxygen either. In reality Kit was only in this black nothing for 7 seconds. Suddenly everything came back to him. He could feel water, see the sun, and had a falling feeling in his gut. Most importantly though was the Shyara was with him again. Together they landed on unsuspecting victims, Gornath, Phalynx, and Anthor.

OOC: I'll explain things in my next post, I just need your reactions to being fallen on by these two that weren't there before and being soaked, before I continue.

Welcome Kit and Shyara, we were captured by Kalkara and just barely managed to escape.

OOC: Hey, this weekend I probably won't get a chance to get on, but Monday I will for sure. You'll just have to skip me, or wait, what ever works best, I will not be offended but sorry guys anyway. oh yeah, and I'm joined up with 17+ RPs so if these wound the same, they are

OOC: Do you want to skip him, Phal?

OOC: My turn anyway.

IC: Phalynx heeded the call of the horn, following Anthor and Gornath into the sky. She rose high above the Kalkara and the large, rather vicious-looking wolf-lizards. Interesting... she thought, but they didn't look half as dangerous as some of the things she had faced.

Phal dove down and blasted starfire onto the creatures, and then rose again. The Kalkara, she realized, probably had some good tricks for taking down dragons if they had wiped them out from this land. She didn't really want to know what those tricks were firsthand. She stuck to quick attacks, doing as much damage as possible before flapping swiftly away.

OOC: hey thanks for not skipping me

IC: Shyara was starving too, but this chance to kill suddenly appeased her even more. Come on Kit let's go. She had noticed two days earlier that she was sensing more, eating more, and lusted for something, but could not tell what it was, at the moment however, she knew that it was the blood the attacking creatures.

Kit was in front of Shyara when the horn blew. He was beyond starving, but he could help this people as was his new found duty. As he walked back past Shyara's head he looked into her eyes and noticed something he had never seen before, in any dragon. Her pupils were slightly dilated and her iris was glowing slightly, a dull red, nothing extravagant but something different indeed. I better ask Phal about this when we are done, she ought to know what is going on. Kit climbed up on Shyara's back again and she took off. She flew to where Phal was flying and Kit looked at these creatures, Very small and ugly he thought but dangerous non the less. He used his magic and drove several stone into their tiny heads and seemed to be making a small dent in their forces when Shyara dropped out of the air. Shyara, What are you doing?!

Shyara didn't hear him though her mind was focused. She landed right in the thickest bunch, crushing those underneath her. She unloaded her lust on these things, non managing to hit her. She relished as their blood splattered on her perfect scales. She also glorified in the fact that Kit couldn't kill any since she disposed of any that came close.

OOC: Hey Veonth i just thought of something, If you want a more different name for that girl Sarah, try spelling it this way 'Cera' that is different and unusual.
Oh and Shyra and Ecivres will be joining us shortly after the battle if you guy and gal don't mind?

OOC: Sure, wish Fanghur would get Tialgo accepted along with Seren, lol if Braith is accepted soon he will get lonely...

IC: Gornath noted the dent that Kit and Shyara in the enemy forces, but he knew that over time they would wear down and get killed, he saw Sarah standing at the gate giving good account of herself with her two daggers, he also saw Phalynx killing many with her star-fire. He knew he had to do something, but what? Then he saw that the wolf-lizards were using some kind of magic, and he knew, they weren't here to fight they were here to bind and capture the enemy, but for what purpos(horrible spelling!)? He took to the air and told Phal, Watch the wolf things, hey are using magic, it is like some kind of mind-control. Don't get too close! He relayed the message to everyone else, and used his "white-fire" ability to decimate the kalkara and their steeds.

Anthor had both of his swords drawn and was protecting Sarah from getting too far out into the kalkara lines. He was untouchable, the kalkara would come at him three a a time and almost instantly he would kill all three. He found that the kalkara had their minds strongly guarded, and that there were quite a few magicians in their group. Then he noticed Sarah's arms go limp and she began to walk toward the wolf things.

OOC: Don't save her.

Mind control? Phal thought. She knew the perfect way to deal with mind control! She swooped down to the humans, who were walking sedately towards their captors.

Suddenly, a large barbed spear came flying out of nowhere, and Phal had to tip over in the air as fast as she could to avoid it. Unfortunately, it clipped her left shoulder badly, and she hissed in pain. The large gash dripped blood unpleasantly down her foreleg, making it uncomfortably wet and slippery.

Phal had since flown too high for the spears to reach her to rest for a moment and inspect the gash. It was fairly deep, but it hadn't pierced any major veins or the muscle. It could be dealt with later. She dove back into the battle with a roar. She free-falled right up to a group of wolf-lizards, and at the last second snapped open her wings and blew them all over with the powerful winds created by flapping wildly. When they were on the ground she blasted them with starfire and then turned to see how the others' battles were going.

OOC: What is up with Shyara, if you want Phal to know?

OOC: I don't really want her to know or at least say anything to Kit if she does. But everything will make sense in a while, trust me.

IC: Shyara was making pretty good progress in the battle slaughtering all enemies, but her limbs were wearing out so she let Kit kill a few. She noticed that the people were walking away toward the wolf-lizards, and she caught what Anthor said to Phalynx. Kit, the wolf-lizards have mind control, put a block around our heads, then I'm moving in.

Kit threw up the spell and said to Shyara, It's up, but do you think it is a good idea to go in there? I mean w-

Shyara cut him off by letting out a massive roar and taking flight. She flew low to the ground as she dared and lashed out with fire, talon, teeth, and tail. She landed in front of another group of wolf-lizards and burnt most of them crispy. Two rolled out of the way and blew a small feathered dart through a blow gun. It struck Shyara in the neck. She was so fueled by the blood that the shot didn't even register with her brain. After a few minutes she started to weaker and weaker till she couldn't move a muscle and fell over on her side.

Kit was shot at also, but he managed to deflect it and it just clipped his arm. He was able to think quickly enough and suck out the poison before it spread to far in his blood stream. His arm did go numb, however, and because of that he couldn't maintain his balance when Shyara well and he thrown and hit his head on a large rock and blacked out.

While Shyara was not unconscious she couldn't move. She was aware of the fact that she was being lifted up and carried through a small portal, which she almost didn't fit through, then aware of the portal closing and she was alone with the two wolf-lizards that survived her attack and a bunch of kulkura. She could sense that the portal was close tightly and the exit moved, so her hopes of Phalynx reopening the portal and saving her were gone. She was aware of being carried to a large cavern and having a large chain put around her neck. She could feel three other dragons chained as well, all male as far as she tell at this point, and all very interested in her.

OOC: Don't save Shyara but Kit is fine.

OOC: It is getting very difficult to not save anybody! Both times Phal has had the ability to... ah, I guess I'll have to come up with another excuse, lol. Btw, if you're gonna face the hydra, what are we s'posed to do?

IC: Phalynx saw Shyara and her rider fall to the ground, but could do nothing to help. For at that moment, another set of barbed spears chose to launch themselves in her direction. She easily dodged most of them, but one managed to imbed itself a few inches into her chest before she caught it with her right foreleg, preventing it from going in deeper. She closed her eyes and grit her teeth in pain, flapping powerfully with her wings to get out of range of others.

Slowly, she inched the speartip out, wincing as its barbs ripped her flesh even more. Finally, it was completely free. She angrily ripped it apart with her foreclaws and flung the pieces away. Ow! she shouted, finally letting out a cry. She shook her head and gazed at the wound. Luckily, it wasn't deep or too dangerous, but it was painful!

By that time, Shyara had been taken away and the battle had ended. Phal growled in frustration. She had failed to save both the captured humans and her friend, all because of a few stupid spears! She should have kept going, and ignored the rest! Who knew what would happen to the captives now because of her. She landed back in the village with Anthor, Gornath, and Kit, lashing her tail in frustration with herself. She would make it up to them.

OOC: There is more than one

OOC: Something has happened, so pass turn.

OOC: Okay...

IC: Phalynx lifted her head from its resting position when Kit joined them near the leaping flames. Shyara was shot with some sort of poisoned dart. It made her fall unconscious... and she was... captured, Phal muttered, still upset that she had not been able to rescue her, I tried to help, but a few things, er, got in the way. She motioned with her nose to the odd, patchy scar growing over the wound in her chest, obviously newly healed. I'm sorry, Kit. As soon as we can, we're going to rescue her and the other capives, she said.

We need to rest now, though. We'll formulate a plan when the killed humans are given their last rites and after we've rested, she said. She was still somewhat weary from the day's activities, and realized that she would need at least a little sleep if she was to function properly when they made the rescue attempt.

Kit tried to 'sleep' but he worried to much about Shyara. He was haunted in his few 'waking dreams' by that fact that he had not been able to save her. Finally he could take it no more, he got up and strapped his sword on and snuck out into the night. He made sure no one was following him, then ran to where the battle had taken place. He could smell the rotting flesh of the kalkara and wolf-lizards. He heard a slight movement and reached out with his mind; it was a wolf-lizard that had survived Shyara's fire attack, but not by much. Kit ran over to it and put his sword to its throat. "Tell me where they have taken my dragon, and I will quicken your passing." The mixed blood looked at him, and whispered, "Away, you will never find them. They are well hidden in the mountains." He realized that he had said to much and shut his mouth and wouldn't say another thing. Kit said to it, "You didn't tell me everything." Kit got up and walked away without turning back. He ran for the mountains, they were a good days run, but Kit was starting early. He ran on soft dirt for the first bit from the wolf-lizard, leaving noticeable tracks, and there was no wind to wash them away.

Shyara was slowly changing, her colors were becoming more distinct and she became increasingly hungry. She got fed two deer a day from the domestic heard, before that would have satisfied her for two or three days, but now it was much less then she needed, and she couldn't explain why. She also noticed that the males had started making slight humming sounds in their sleep, which rose and fell as she breathed.

Shyra and Ecivres had reached the islands and found nothing of Kit or Shyara. They stopped on one of the islands and a young boy said he thought he saw a dragon get sucked down into the maelstrom. So when the waters went down they flew out there.

Ecivres examined the area, and came to stop above the water. There was a rip in the magic here, a few days ago, right when Kit and Shyara were supposed to be passing by. I think they teleported somewhere.

Please tell me you can reopen it so we can find them.

Well it isn't completely closed yet, dragon magic has a prolonged effect, so I should be able to open it enough to get through but hold your breath, we are going underwater real quick. Ecvires dropped into the water and swam to the 'rip'. He, with Shyra's help managed to open the portal and slip through. It was dark where they came out. They landed just outside a village, but didn't have the energy to move or alert anyone. It was dawn before someone noticed them.

OOC: The reason I didn't feel like posting was because someone I kinow had a car crash, and it is kalkara, not kulkukra, Kit lol.

IC: The next day, Anthor woke up and noticed that Kit had left, he thought that Kit was off exploring the village and thought nothing of it. Later in the day, Anthor noticed that Kit hadn't been seen by anyong in the entire village. He began to worry. He told only Gornath what he thought. He said, I think Kit has gone to look for Shyara. I must go find him. Stay here with Phal and if I am not back by tomorrow tell Phal what I have done and what we think Kit has done, if she hasn't told you already.
Having said that Anthor took his two blades and went off in search of his friend. He felt drawn to a forest many mils away, so he went there.

Voenth and Braith were exploring an extremely old cave that they found when they saw a shade! They began to run after it, when they began to fall. They continued faling unill they his something very hard. It was stone,but it wasn's a stone from the bottom of a cave, they were on top of a mountain!

OOC: Is this person alright, voenth? Well I hope they are.

IC: Phal didn't notice that Kit was not with them in the morning. As soon as she had woken up, a little before dawn, she flew over the forest and watched the stars disappear one by one. She liked to observe the last fading of the stars. As well as being pretty to see, it reminded her that she could not watch over the land forever, so she would have to do whatever she could to save it in the time she had. Still being quite young, Phalynx hoped that was a lot of time.

As the sun rose over the distant, dead landscape, Phal went into the forest and caught a small deer. There wasn't much prey to be found in this place, regretfully, and the meager meal didn't give her much energy. When the sun had just barely gotten over the bleak hills, Phal noticed something by the shore. Shocked, she registered the forms as those of Shyra and Ecivres.

Phal immediately flew to the pair and landed near them. Ecivres! Shyra! You two look exhausted! Please, come into the village with me and we'll explain to you what's been going on after you eat and rest, she said, moving over to help Ecivres up.

OOC: Yea, he is ok. It just scared me pretty badly.

IC:
Anthor was still wandering in the forest when he came upon some very small huts, but what was so odd about them was that they were in the trees, suspended by small saplings and very neat looking. He decieded not to bother whatever lived there, but drew both his swords, just in case. He continued walking untill he happened upon a small mountain. The mountain was in the center of the forest and could not be seen untill you were right at it from the ground. He decieded to climb it. He was scaleing the mountain when something large, very large. He heard it roar and he also heard the slither of steel. When he turned to see what it was he was tackled by an old, but extremely powerful person with two swords drawn. There was also a huge orange dragon pinning his legs with its claws, Anthor said, Voenth?, Braith? What are you doing here!!

Voenth said, Anthor, what are you doing here, and where is Gornath? We fell here because of a shade's portal magic, and have been harrassed by all manner of creatures.

Thank you for the offer, but I think we are just exhausted, it took alot out of both of us to open that portal underwater enough to get through. Some rest will be well appreciated.

"What!? Kit ran out after her alone! He's going to get himself killed," Shyra ranted as she came up out of her sitting/leaning position. She took two steps toward the edge of the village and her knees gave out. She fell against the ground and started crying. The exhaustion mixed with all her other emotions at that time burst out and she cried for several minutes.

Ecivres nudged her, It is okay, we'll find them. Don't worry.

Shyra spoke through her sobs, "I know we will." She looked around while trying to get her tears under control. "Hey look at this. These are foot prints, leading toward the mountains, which way did Anthor and Gornath go?"

Kit walked slowly down the tunnel, which led to the depths of the mountains. There were several offshoots leading else into the blackness and so far he hadn't come across anyone. Shyara! He yelled mentally.

Shyara had been laying on the ground, her stomach feeling deeply abused, when she thought she heard a faint call to her. She wasn't sure if her mind was playing tricks or not but just incase, Kit, I'm here with three other dragons.

Kit barely heard the reply, but it was enough to guide him, Okay, I'm coming. He ran down the tunnel, but not forgetting caution and a good thing to. He came around a corner and just about ran into an entire swarm of Kalkara and wolf-lizards. it is going to be a little bit before I can get to you, there is a big obstacle. He sent her a mental image as he slinked back into the dark and worked out a plan.

Shyara received the image. Okay but hurry. She was becoming worried, a energy force was building inside her, one she couldn't control and then it climaxed and released. An invisible force exploded from her. It was clearly noticeable, but couldn't be seen. It was kind of like a scent and it spread out everywhere; it reached everyone especially the dragons. She began to glow very brightly and felt her blood starting to surge, and she knew something was going to happen when it reached its breaking point, good or bad.

Kit noticed the release, both through his mental link and because he was pushed back and the horde was thrown over at it. He ran over in his mind and suddenly thought of the answer, Oh no! The horde gathered themselves back up and swarmed toward the dragon chamber.

Ecivres felt the energy, and smelt it. His body suddenly came alive, every organ soared to peak performance. He readied himself for the challenge to come.

Shyra felt it through her mental link with Ecivres. She looked to Phal, "You need to get out of here, I'm sure you know why."

OOC: Veonth, if you want your dragons in that would be great but if not, you better have them leave for a little bit. Do you two know what happening yet?

OOC: No, but I am getting an idea, but I will have Gornath and Braith do something that will keep them form well, you know either blowing up or turning aganst their riders.

IC:
Gornath felt wierd, he looked at Phalynx and noticed that she too wasn't feeling up to par. He dismissed it when he saw a huge orange dragon soaring toward him with Voenth and Anthor on his back, he said Where have you been Braith and thankyou for bringing my rider back safely. Having said that he bounded into the air and covered the distance between himself and Braith in a matter of seconds.

Anthor was happy to see Gornath again, but dissappointed at the fact that he had failed to bring Kit and Shyara back safely. He saw Shyra and her dragon, Ecivres. He greeted them and began to tend to the job of unpacking everything that Braith had on his back and cleaning himself frmo the long journey.

Braith greeted his old teacher with a low bow of his head as he began to land. He said, Master, it has been a long time, how have you fared in this, your journey. He then kneeled down to make it easier for Anthor and Voenth to unload the saddle that was on him. Master, havr you noticed the power that seems to come form those mountains?

Voenth was happy to see Gornath having known him all of his life. He said, Hello oh, you who are of the white scales. I am glad to see you again. He also greeted the young elf female and her dragon, Ecivres.

OOC: I think I kinda get it. Is it like a spell, though, or what?

IC: Phalynx shook her head at Shyra. I do admit I feel somewhat odd, but I'm sure I'll be able to control myself. I need to stay here, and help all of you, she said with a smile. Her eyes suddenly flooded the area with golden light.

Alright, I'm going to go investigate those mountains, maybe start formulating a plan. Once Shyra and Ecivres are rested, we can attempt a rescue when possible, she said to the others, rising into the air with a single powerful flap. She sped away towards the mountains, trailing Kit's footprints. He seemed to know where he was going.

Phal got close enough to the mountains to be able to see inside of them. She could see various tunnels and caves, most of them either in forgotten disrepair, or swarming with wolf-lizards and kalkara. In one large cave, though, she saw several large heat signatures that could only belong to dragons. She was surprised that there were more than one. As she drew closer, she began to feel even more odd, and decided to keep her distance.

Phal could see Kit inside the tunnels near Shyara and the other dragons. He seemed to be coming up with a plan of his own for rescue. The silver dragoness turned and flew back towards the others.

It was an hour later when she arrived back. Well, I found Kit and Shyara, along with about two or three other dragons. Anyone up for a rescue at the moment? she said as she landed.

OOC: No, your both wrong, but you'll find out shortly.

IC: Shyara could contain herself no longer; the blood rage had built even more as the swarm gather in the cave. The electricity in the air didn't help either, and she just had to let it out. One of the Kalkara poked her and she released. She let out a roar and ripped it to sheds. Others massed toward her, poking her and casting spells, but she broke through them as if they were nothing. She felt no pain, just the lust for food that masked her real feeling, to MATE.

Ecivres felt in his bones now, the time had come. He burst into the air toward the mountain. He shot past Phalynx as she was just getting back, he paused for a second, Do as you wish, but from the stories I'm told, Shyara will kill you if she sees that you are to close to her. He then continued on his way, faster than he had ever flown before.

The walls around her could no longer contain her, she burst through them and searched. There! She screamed when she saw the small herd of deer that the Kalkara were using to keep them alive. She launched herself on it, intent on eating the whole thing when Kit's voice came to her and forced her to obey.

Kit ran over his mind, What was I taught, What was I taught? Oh yeah, she must blood her kill, blood it. He felt her burst out and run down a buck. Shyara! Don't you dare eat that! He repeated this over and over to her, yelling it, because of the static she was causing. She tried to rebel but he kept in line and drank the blood of five small deer before she finished.

Shyara finished her flight snack and soared into the air. She watched as the males she had been held captive with broke their bonds and soared out. Ecivres was coming too, no male could resist her at this time and she knew it. Shall we play a game? Who ever catches me can have me! She laughed after she finished this and shot off into the air again; she knew they would follow. She flew up high planned out her flight, the longer, the better. Then she saw Phal off in the distance, and rage boiled over. How dare she! She screamed, I'll kill her, I'll kill her! Shyara barred her talons and teeth and dove for Phalynx's neck.

OOC: Ahhhhh. You ruining everything. Shyara and Ecivres haven't mated yet, I'm making this one their first time, when they choose each other as mates. Everybody has their different idea of how a dragon mates and this is mine, the best dragon for her, will catch her, Ecivres. PLEASE! PLEASE, I'm BEGGING you edit, or I will have to turn Shyara on you as well. Nothing against you, just how natures goes at this point. Oh yeah, and she isn't under a spell, she under her natural desire to mate, and since this is her first time, all her normal thinking is nothing. I'm basing this off my favorite writer's mating flights, and this is how she does it. So if you must, knock Phal out of the way, because Shyara will tear you to pieces. and the males and Ecivres, aren't going to let Braith's attack stand, it'll probably be 4 against 1.

OOC:......why don't you let me know these things, and these other dragons are supposedly Ecrives's(sp) competition, so I guess Gornath and Braith can handel them.....I hate editing...

Braith got so angry then Ecrives attacked him, his eyes turned black, his entire being seemed to grow, his mind was lost amongn a cloud of anger, hate, and lust for a fight. He had no wish to mate with Shyara, for he already had a mate, Seren. He began to fly high, higher than he had ever flown before. Then he saw them, the black dragon was catching up to Shyara. He plummeted like a stone toward the black dragon. He ignored the small injuries that had been inflicted upon him by the weak pink dragon and small orange dragon, whey were but pups, compared to his size, but the black dragon, he was in his prima, and was ready for a fight. He hit the black dragon so hard that it almost knocked them both sensless, he ripped both of the dragon's wings of and went on to attack the green dragon.

Voenth cursed as he saw what had happened to his dragon, he told Shyra, "Get Ecrives to Shyara quick, get them both out of here, Braith is going on a rampage!" He tackled Kit out of the way as the black dragon hit the ground in the exact spot that he had been standing. He then poured his mind into that of Kit's, he gave him assistance and supressed the feelings that were controling Kit, he gave him back his sanity.

Gornath flew as fast as he could and tried to control Braith, he screamed into his mind, Remember Seren, remember Voenth, Anthor, remember ME!

Anthor cast a spell that gave him his breath back and cast a small spell to deflect any and all physical attacks Shyra and or Kit could launch at himself or Voenth.

OOC: You do know that Ecivres and Braith are just shy off the same age right. Veonth found Braith's egg and wne to the Boers and a week to two weeks later Shyra found Ecivres's. And just a side note, don't kill any more dragons, it make the mating flight boring. They are supposed to try and catch her. they are not after her to kill her, just to mate and your taking them out as if they were trying to kill her.

OOC:I do know that, however Braith is huge for his age, he is bigger than Gornath. He is more of an agtion dragon rather than a dragon who uses his wits. He makes up for his lack of finess with muscle and size, it is what makes him different.

OOC: Braith isn't after Shyara, hes only trying to stop the males form hurting her, hes not overly intelligent. He thinks they are trying to hurt her. He isn't afer Shyara,hes just angry at being attacked by Ecrives. Gornath, lol hes just trying to get out of this alive, lol!

OOC: Was that addressed to me? Well, Phal knows that. She was referring to the fact that they were fighting because they were either afraid for Shyara (in Braith's case) or wanted to be her mate. She was speaking to all the male dragons except Gornath, actually.

OOC: It as directed toward my comment.

IC: Shyara watched behind her, all that were left was the green dragon and Ecivres. This wasn't how she wanted to pick her mate, it being marked by death, but she didn't dwell to long on that, the males were catching up.

Ecivres was close now, but so was the green dragon. This one was smart, and strong; Ecivres knew he couldn't knock him out of the race as he did with the pink one, he'd have to use his knowledge of Shyara to win. He went over it in his mind, She loves the air and being up high. He looked where she was headed, straight into a large cloud bank, I could use this. He dashed upward and disappeared from the others once they enter the clouds. He could just barely see Shyara and the green, they had slowed a bit, but he flew at the same speed till he was directly above Shyara.

Shyara looked behind her again, Only the green one left, I wouldn't've thought Ecivres to give up so easily. This wasn't very fun, but he'll still have to prove his worth. She slowed down abit to rest somewhat. Suddenly she was hit from above and forced down.

Ecivres had hit his mark exactly and stole the green of his prize. He pushed Shyara wings shut and supported both of them with his own, as was always done by the victoring male. She was bigger then him at the moment by he had to prove that his genes where the best. He couldn't keep them in one spot but slowed their descent, prolonging the ending of the Flight till dusk.

OOC: Lol, sry Draco.

IC:
Braith felt himself begin to return to himeelf when he hit the ground. He saw that a large white draogn had him pinned there, but wether he was friend of fow he knew not. He began to thash arouind anf finally managed to get back up on his feet. The white dragon lay a few yards away curled up in a ball to stop the pain. Then Braith recognized him, Gornath!, I...I didn't mmean it....II was just ttrying tto get uup.

Gornath got up off the ground and was bleeding severely he glided over to Anthor and Voenth, he said, You must heal me, this wound harms me much.

Anthor began to cast the spell, it healed the internal problems first then started upon the skin. He completely healed Gornath's wounds, but the energy inside of his swords was completely gone.

Voenth went over to Braith ans said, "Are you mad! That was Gornath you hurt just then, ah never mind, he is better, let me heal you. It took all of the energy from let'hjartha to heal Braith, but he was fully healed.

OOC: Ah. Well please be more specific next time.

IC: Phalynx lay unmoving on the ground, her energy expended to save the lives of the two male dragons. The black stood protectively near her, shaking his head with regret. Go and get those other dragons, he said to the pink commandingly, She seems to be their friend. The pink dragon nodded and raced off to find the riders or Gornath, who were the only ones he had seen acting rationally.

The pink located them a few miles away, over a low rise covered in sharp, jagged rocks. He landed in front of them, exhausted and panting. Your silver friend, she needs your help. She saved me from bleeding to death and she saved the black dragon who was falling, but it took a lot of her energy, he panted.

Back over the rise, Phal raised her head weakly as she heard a low scuffling noise over the rocks. The black stood straighter and raised his wings over her. No... don't, don't protect me. You have already been hurt, Phal mumbled, lowering her head back to the rocks and breathing heavily. I shall not leave you behind to fend for yourself, lady starscales. I did not lose that fight earlier honorably, for I was forced from the contest by an attack. I must make up for that now and keep you safe, he said. The black seemed to have a great deal of honor and pride in his words.

But you know what's coming. They'll capture me and you, or kill us both, Phal said, raising her head again. She heard the scuffling and scratching draw closer. A huge horde of kalkara suddenly burst over the rocks and began swarming towards the two dragons from all sides. The black dragon leaped over Phalynx and spread his wings to their fullest extent. He began roaring in anger and lashing out at the beasts. His flame scorched multitudes of the beasts, but they kept coming. They drew in little by little, moving forward slightly when the black paused to swipe away the entire front row of them.

Phal struggled to get up, but her exhaustion, her lack of energy, made her legs tremble, unable to support her weight. No, no! Stop! she cried, desperate to help. The black was sustaining horrendous wounds from harpoons, spears, and arrows, but no matter what he stayed between her and the advancing swarm. Phalynx roared in anger when a huge spear suddenly shot out from the air and pierced deeply into the black's chest. His head jerked forward in surprise, and he gave an injured gasp. Another spear soon imbedded itself in his neck, and he fell back, staggering.

More and more spears flung forward and into the valiant dragon's chest, forelimbs, and neck, but he stayed standing, still fighting to the death. Phal kept jerking her legs, trying frantically to stand and aide him.

One very brave, or very foolish kalkara suddenly darted forward. Phalynx saw the murderous gleam in its eye, and with a sudden burst of adrenaline she surged to her feet and leaped forward, but it was too late. The kalkara jumped into the air and slashed the black dragon's throat with a deadly sharp blade. It was killed when the black intercepted it with his claws, but its work was already done. The dragon slowly fell, as if in slow motion, as Phalynx rushed forward. No, she said as she bent at his side, horrified that a dragon she didn't even know had given his life to protect her.

I'm sorry, Starscales. I have failed you, he said as his eyes dimmed. No, you did what I would have had one of my kind been in danger, she said, a tear falling from her right eye. Before she could say anything else or see if the honorable black dragon had died, ropes and snares began to fall on top of her. Her adrenaline rush ended, Phalynx no longer had the strength to fight them. She collapsed to the ground, ensared beyond escape. Her last sight was of a large stone closing over the entrance to a cave in the ground, eliminating the trail the kalkara were following.

OOC: Mwahaha! Much drama!

OOC: No kidding Draco, now I want to fight Braith for hurting the black dragon....I feel bad now..............

OOC: lol sorry voenth. I was going with that the black dragon was one of those with a large sense of honor and pride, and of course interested in finding a mate. I can be quite dramatic sometimes... *laughs evilly*

OOC: I think I should pass for now, it is still day in your characters time line and mine don't get done till dusk(sundown), so...

OOC: Ima leave Braith & Voenth out this turn.

IC:
When Gornath saw the pink male dragon flying toward Anthor and himself. He placed himself protectively in-between the two. He said, What do you want, young one.

The pink dragon answered, The starry dragoness is injured, and there is an army of Kalkara comeing this way, I will lead you but you must hurry.

Anthor mounted Gornath and they set off after the pink dragon to find and protect their friend.

OOC: Kit ist is your turn, you have to go or you will be skipped.

OOC: I know, I know.

IC: Kit came out of his trance alone except for Shyra. He touched her.

Shyra jumped out of her skin when Kit touched her; she had been coming out of her trance and not expected anyone to be there. After she calmed down, she had a smile spread across her face, then it disappeared when she looked around. "Where is everybody? I expected people to be aways away, but not completely gone."

Shyara landed beside Kit, her being had returned to normal.

Ecivres landed behind Shyra. Have you tried contacting them?

"No." Hey, Anthor, Gornath, Phalynx, where are you guys?

Phalynx poked her head past the entrance to an enormous cavern. It was very hard to tell that it was huge, though, because the stalagtites and stalagmites were clogging the interior in mighty pillars. Small openings to hundreds of tunnels were scattered around the walls, and the towers of stone in the cave were covered in little chambers and rooms. Kalkara streamed from chamber to chamber, and from tunnel entrance to tunnel entrance. They hadn't noticed her yet, but they soon would.

The Kalkara that had been skulking in her cavern were running as fast as they could to the most enormous stalagmite Phal had ever seen. The stalactite that had once been connected to it was broken off and lying in shattered ruin on the floor. Now that she looked, she could see a lot of broken stone and shattered rock. It looked as if there had been multiple battles with large creatures in here.

The small troup of Kalkara reached the central pillar and crawled up to the entrance of the only chamber on it. A group of large, richly decored Kalkara climbed out and clung to the rock face. Despite their hideousness, they were decorated in colorful splendor. It was obvious that they were the rulers. The two groups chittered back and forth in their eerie language, before finally stopping. The bedecked Kalkara slithered down from their stalagmite and began moving hastily towards the tunnel where Phal waited. She tensed herself, and then stepped out of the tunnel completely.

Her scales aglow, Phalynx strode stoically up to the approaching group of Kalkara. As she walked, the other beasts scrambled into holes and watched, their large eyes reflecting Phal's silver light. She stood before the only group that hadn't fled, and waited.

OOC: Hope you don't mind, but I've come up with a pretty interesting idea for the rp. You'll see in my next post. hee hee

OOC: you definitely threw in a twist.

Shyara hovered in the air, waiting, watching. She waited for Gornath and Braith to tell her where the Kalkara had taken Phal; she watched for anything unusual that might point out her location.

OOC: Sorry it is short

OOC: Umm, Kit Anthor, Braith, Voenth, and Gornath are all with the pinkn dragon and Kit and Shyara. They also have no idea where Phal is.

OOC: I know that, but she doesn't. Knowledge doesn't just become known to her, she has to be told, like everyone else. It is kinda like Shakespear's plays the audience knows that Juleit isn't dead, but Romeo doesn't so he kills himself. You, me, Draco, we are like the audience we know stuff because we read what others write, but our characters don't.

"We don't know where Phal is." Both Antho and Voenth said in unsion.

Neither do we, we looked wn we came here, but the pink dragon was sent tpus by her.

OOC: lol I love plot twists! I couldn't help throwing one in!

IC: Phalynx walked through the tunnels, no longer fearing attack by the Kalkara. She now realized that even though they were still a possible threat, for now they were on the same side. She decided that she would go along with their "prophecy," or whatever it was. Perhaps once the monsters were destroyed the Kalkara would even turn friendly, and allow the other races to live in peace.

Phal suddenly froze. She caught the scent of the wolf-lizards too late, to stop, but it was the thick moss concealing the high tunnel that saved her. She slowly backed away from the entrance, which was high above a precipice. Below that was a medium sized cavern with several wolf-lizards inside. They had weapons of war ready, and were grunting to each other in their own language. One of them held up a silver scale and allowed the others to sniff it. The scale was partially coated in dried blood. The leader took the scale back again and licked some of the blood off it. The gesture of hostility made Phal shiver. That's my scale... my blood... she thought, disgusted. They knew that she had been captured, and were going to collect the prize, probably to sacrifice her to the monsters.

Phal lowered her head angrily, baring her teeth. She let out a long, low, crocodilian hiss. The wolf-lizards stopped and their heads flashed towards the tunnel she was hiding in. It was far too late for them. Phal roared and lit up her scales blindingly as she leaped out. The wolf-lizards shrieked and clawed at their eyes as they were temporarily blinded. Phal tackled two of them, snapping their spines. She quickly slammed another into a wall with her powerful tail and slashed a fourth with her talons. She reached forward and killed one of the last two with a wrench of her jaws. The last one she pinned beneath her front claws.

This will be a message! Your rule has ended! she encoded into the wolf-lizard's mind, guessing that the monsters were probably intelligent and would understand her language. She imprinted it deeply into the beast's mind while she ripped and tore at it, until it could do nothing but shriek out her words over and over again. She hissed and let the wolf-lizard up. With a screech it began running as fast as it could in the opposite direction, knowing only to find its monster ruler and scream its message.

Hmph are you going to attack me again if I help? Asked Braith in a bad mood. He began to dig, but away from Ecrives, he was still angry about him attacking him earlier.

Yes, I will help. Said Gornath as he began to dig.

Voenth said a quick spell and the earth began to come away from the sopt they were digging.

Anthor also casted a small spell that began to cause the earth below them to crumble and give way.
