In Eldest, the elf queen, Islanzadi, has a pet bird, (I forgot his name.) who is always going around saying wyrda, which means fate. Does he say it at random times? Maybe. But I think not! I think he has some power of telling the future. Islanzadi even said that it saved her lif once, and maybe that's how--he can tell the future! When he says wyrda, it's normally at important parts: he said when Eragon and Arya were under the Menoa Tree, so that could be important to their future relationship; he said it when Eragon firstsaw the Menoa Tree, and Solembaum the wherecat said something about it in book one; and he said it at a few other important parts too, I just can't remember right now. But is it random, or is it destiny?!! :?

Its saying it randomly but then again not. A bird needs a little thing to say all the time like a parrot and wydra is a suitable word. It already means heaps, why should it mean more?

Possible, but i think theres a good chance he is just saying it to be mysterious. I dont think he would go directly out and say that when something important was happening, he always spoke in riddles.

He didn't TECHNICALLY flat out say something important was happening! He just said "Wyrda!" Who knows?! :D

And as for what someone said about it already being heaps, why should it mean more: THAT IS THE POINT!! :D I already DOES mean heaps!! All the more reason that it DOES mean more!!

IDK, like I said, this is just a theory, but hey, we are only part way through the series, we have plenty of mysteries to be solved! :)
