It was autumn. Not cold enough for snow, but cold enough to see your breath. Almost all the leaves had fallen off the trees, and they made a quiet crunch under Levina's large paws. Except for the crunching leaves, the forest was quiet. All the creature were preparing for the winter. Unlike everyone else Levina wasn't hunting, she was just talking a walk enjoying the weather. This was her favorite time of the year. The forest was dead, except more alive then ever.
She came across a lynx. A rare sight. Their species wasn't in any danger, they just eluded the eyes of humans and other animals. The ghosts of the forest. It was a male, they started eye to eye for a moment; they were about 100 feet apart. She let out as mall smile, but he just ran away. She wanted to go after him, but instead she sighed and continued her stroll. Not a lynx. Not a human. But a strange mixture called a werecat. That was probably why werecats chose to live alone. They didn't really belong with either humans or cats. Levina felt like she belonged once. But it was gone now. Where do I belong? With dad and his pride? Hmph, with a human scent forever fused with mine, they would never let me back. Dad would though, but whats the point of living with him if the others wont accept me? Maybe I should just live alone forever, I mean, lynxes are solitary animals! I should be too! Levina exclaimed to herself. But I'm not, she sighed. Why am I so weird?! Four years of being away from humans, and not changing into my human for and I still can't act like a normal lynx!! She yelled at herself. Stupid male lynx, it's all your fault. If I hadn't seen you, then my walk wouldn't have been ruined by these thoughts.
Finally placing the blame of all her problems on the unknown lynx Levina continued her walk. She continuously felt like she was being watched. She stopped and looked around. Nothing in the north. Nothing in the south. Nothing in the east. Nothing in the west. She squinted her eyes, if her instincts told her she was being followed she probably was. Eyes can make a person blind, she thought. She closed her eyes and listened. Waiting for the slightest sound of a leaf crunch. Crack! There is was, to the east. She ran towards the sound, but what caused it she didn't really expect.

ooc: It can be anything, except an old dragon. Since they're pretty big she would know not to run towards a large dragon lo But it can be a smaller one, like a newborn

OOC: Or small like... SOLARAE?

IC: The orange dragoness stalked through the forest, her footsteps absolutely silent on the leafy ground, despite the dry, crackly leaves themselves. She was a careful huntress. The dragoness lowered her head, peering under a bush to get a glimpse of her prey. The animal in question was nothing more than a small rabbit. Solarae suddenly caught a new scent in her nostrils. That smells like... cat? Lynx! she thought, her head raising into an alert position. She scented the air more carefully, until she could sense the direction of the smell.

Solarae angled her head towards the source of the lynx scent, and her sharp draconic eyes picked up movement far away in the forest. Hmph. You're not getting my prey, she thought. It was at that moment that the rabbit caught the lynx's scent as well, and dashed away in a chaotic swirl of leaves. Solarae instinctively leapt forward, pouncing down on the leaves where her quarry had been. And apparently I'm not, either, she thought with an amused laugh. She whipped her body around when she caught the sound of a running creature, and the lynx's smell grew stronger in her nostrils. Something was odd about its scent, now that it was getting closer. It wasn't a normal lynx. Solarae stood, waiting for the "lynx" to enter the clearing.

ooc: How did you know I wanted Solarae? :3 Lol

Levina skidded to a halt once she reached the creature that she sensed and heard. Wow, this is very unexpected. I was thought it would be a wolf or fox or something. But a dragon? Hell no, she thought looking up at the orange dragon, her eyes flat against her head, back hunched over, and tail wagging nervously. Um... heh, hi, she said, her voice dripping with apprehension.
The way the dragon stood, it was like it saw her coming. Well duh, their sense of smell and sight are far better then mine. It probably smelt me coming, Levina thought. Well it isn't that big, it's probably a new born. So it probably can't use fire yet. So if this dragon does decide to kill me, at least I wont burn alive. Lucky me! Levina looked around there were no humans or elves around meaning this was a wild dragon, which only made things worse. The only dragon she ever talked to was Shraya, Kit's dragon.
Sorry 'bout that. I didn't mean to chase away your prey. I usually act before I think. So, uh, sorry. Please don't kill me, Levina said to the dragon.

OOC: lol idk. Just seemed like her kinda place.

IC: Solarae snorted when the lynx, now revealed to be a werecat, asked not to be killed. An amused grin spread across the fiery dragoness's face. You think I'd kill you? Dude, why would I kill a werecat? Or anyone who seemed friendly? she replied with a friendly laugh. Don't worry 'bout the rabbit. It was just a rabbit, after all. My name's Solarae, and I don't know what you heard about wild dragons, but I'm not that viscious. To my friends, she added, laughing a few more times. Her friends recieved perfectly civil behavior from her. Her enemies, however... Well, they should just watch their backs, she thought.

ooc: Lol Short-ish people.

A quiet growl came out from Levina's throat. Clairvoyance. The one thing she hated, loathed even, about being a werecat. If only she was one of those special werecats that isn't a clairvoyant, then basically all of her problems would be gone! The future is something no one should be able know/understand till it happens. So why do I get to be so "special"? Levina thought. She rolled her eyes at Solarae's actions.

I didn't think you were, I was only judging by your size. If your six hundred, then why do you have the body size of a child? Did someone put some evil curse on you? Levina asked chuckling.

Levina looked as if she knew exactly what Solarae was talking about, giving a small nod that said, "Oh that explains it." But really she was thinking, What the hell is fanghur? Is it a midget dragon? That would be hilarious!

I still feel kinda bad about taking away your meal. Would you wait here for a minute? I'll be right back, Levina said before running off. She headed deeper into the forest to find something to give to Solarae. A large hare. Levina crouched down getting ready to pounce, but just as she was about to, the hare ran off. Oh hell no, your not getting away, she said. Levina gave chase and easily caught up to the hare. She pounced on it and killed it within seconds. Haha, told you, Levina said to the dead hare.

Hey! What the hell?! Why did you steal my kill?!

What are you taking about? I didn't steal any thing! Levina said to the lone wolf that was approaching her. Why is it that every wolf seems to hate me? She thought, noticing the angered expression sketched across the wolf's face.

That hare was my kill! he said angrily.

How could it be your kill, when I obviously killed it?

Don't get on my nerves werecat, I'm a lone wolf and I could kill you.

That was probably the stupidest statement she'd ever heard. Lone wolves were weird ones. They thought they were so tough for not having a pack. That they could do everything a pack of wolves could do by themselves. Are you seriously bragging about how no one wants you in their pack?

Thats it! Your dead!! the wolf roared. Teeth bared he lunged after Levina.
Levina quickly picked up the hare in her mouth and ran back to where Solarae should be. As she ran, with the wolf on her tail, almost literally, Levina laughed. Wolves, you guys make it so easy for people like me to poke fun at you! Your so serious all the time! She thought. Luckily Solarae hadn't moved far from the spot, Levina ran in front of her and dropped the hare at her feet. Here ya go. For the rabbit I chased away, plus interest.Can't talk now, gotta run! Levina said fast paced. She continued to run away still laughing. The wolf ran right past Solarae, not even noticing the fact that the hare was no longer with Levina.

Oh yeah, says who?! Said the wolf challengingly. He stopped running after the werecat to look at the person that spoke to him. He looked around him to find no one was around. Then very slowly he lifted his head up. His ears went down, his eyes widened, and his mouth opened in shock and fear. He took a gulp and nervously said, heh heh, she your friend? I didn't mean any of that 'I'm going to rip to shreds' stuff. I was, you know, playing around and stuff... Before anyone said anything, he ran off, tail between his legs.

I swear every wolf I talk to tries to kill me. Oh well, Levina said laying on a thick branch high in a tree. Sometimes it was a good thing, if she never got mauled by that pack of wolves in Ecivres the she never would've met Kit. I guess having a dragon as a friend is a good thing. That better be the best hare you've ever eaten in your life, I almost died getting it for you! Levina said putting emphasis on the word 'died', and laughing afterwards.

OOC: May I join with V, you know hes a lot like the opposite of a wer-cat, hes an elf and can change into a wolf, lol! Also, he is neither that old, nor a dragon!

ooc: YES!! I was actually waiting for more people to join, cause I have no plot ideas! Lol So come on and bring ideas! B]

Solarae, your a dragon. Everything compared to you would look tame and non-threatening! Levina said laughing with the elf. Well, I live here duh, so it's not very dangerous to me. And yes I have seen them, they just protective. Once you show them you don't mean harm they'll let you through. When I first came here I didn't have any trouble getting by. But I have noticed they've been extra cautious, they must sense something, I guess.

ooc: I doubt it would be that long. I don't have any plans for this RP so it's not like anything major is going to happen in the middle of the story when you get back, unless we actually come up with something xD

I wouldn't worry about it to much then Solarae. If you've never seen them, then they probably think your cool and they wont mess with you. As for you Voenth, they must've thought of you as a threat, Levina explain to Solarae and Voenth.

Levina turned around after hearing someone clear their throat. It was a humanoid creature but he didn't seem to be a human or an elf. He certainly seemed odd. Your never in the middle of nowhere stranger, your always somewhere, Levina told him. She nodded her head in the direction of the stream Solarae mentioned. It's over there, she told him.

ooc: See? I'm always right, you can go after Voenth; whose turn it is now

OOC: Sorry, forgot it was my turn, PM me these things, lol.

IC:
"Voenth morphed back into an elf and said, "My name is Voenth, rider of Braith, previous rider of Bascth, it is nice to meet you, Arrow." said the elf as he offered the "it" a handshake. He then said, "Umm, not to sound rude, but, well, what exactly are you?" asked thre elf with an odd look on his face when he looked at "it".

Voenth continued to bite the dragoness and thought to himself, Oh no she didn't. when he saw how angry Solarae was, he simply backed away and morphed back into his true form. He said, "That was not her best choice of words, I would not have said that..." said the elf, waiting for the inevitable, Solarae winning...

Than I have no doubt that your bow and arrow are the best, Levina replied to Arrow. Levina tried her best to withhold her laugh at Arrow's comment. What about that girl over there? Levina asked motioning her head towards the girl with the owl, wolf, and weird horse. She looked back at the fight, which was getting even more heated than before, literally. She glanced at Voenth as he quickly backed away from the now flaming dragon. Yeah, obviously. I bet this fight will be over in.... five minuets.
