That's true. And now they've made the vampires indestructable pretty much, and they're immuned to pretty much everything. It's the older vamps that I dig, cause not much can kill them except a couple things. I liked Twilight, because Steph. Meyer is a really good writer, and I used to like it a lot. Like hellhounds! =D Oo, I've been studying my fantasy creatures and guess what? The myth of the centaur orginated with centaurs having human forefeet. In other words, it would've looked like a human with a horse's butt connected to its own butt. Cool eh? But the legend kinda evolved. _________________

Yeah! Only, in a few stories that I've heard, hellhounds serve the head vampires while the vamp sleeps during the day. Well, the first time I heard that was in The Lost Boys so, I could be wrong... So wait, how would that look? I cannot picture it one bit, I'm still seeing a human till it's torso and then the rest is the bottom of horse with the four legs. I'm totally confused, but that's awesome, Silv! Actually, Hellhounds are Grims. Their job is to relay bad souls to hell. They also kill anyone they believe to be "damned". Sometimes they don't attack straight away though. If you see a shaggy, black dog with red, pitless or white eyes then that's a warning. See it a second time, you'll get sick. See it a third time, you die. If you think about it, centaurs are really remarkable and unique (normal centaurs). I mean, they have two ribcages. I find that kinda ... I don't know. I think it's an awesome creature because of that n_n That is so cool n___n fantasy creatures are amazing. I have this book with a list of all fantasy creatures (except for vampires and werewolves, they're "paranormal" creatures apparently). Glad to see someone else into it too! ^.^ Whoa, what a rant. :/ I suppose it's because there's no "Fantasy Creatures" topics around here, as far as I know. Well, anyone want to make one? Atral? (If you don't mind me calling you that =]). I don't want to, I don't really like my name on so many topics. lol. You know the guy who plays Jack Baur in 24? He plays as the leader of the group of vamps. Oh yeah, no wonder it that sounded familiar. That was in Harry Potter in the 3rd movie. It's also in the tv show Supernatural, only the hellhounds in that show dragged the souls into hell right away; they were the messangers of the demons or something like that. It was when that person made a deal with a demon. That's a really good show. But that's another interesting myth; I've never heard of it put like that. Ah, now I see. That's really cool, in a weird sort of way. Sweeet, I would love a book like that, though I have books like dragons, faeries, wizards, egypt, and pirates. Well, red's already made one, so it's okay. And yes, it's okay if you call me Astral; it's sort of my nickname round here. lol.
