 Metal in GeneralWhat kind of metal do like/hate?
Personally, my top 10 metal bands would be 1. Iron Maiden- Heavy Metal 2. Stratovarius- Heavy Metal 3. Kamelot- Progressive Metal 4. Rhapsody of Fire- Folk Metal/Power Metal 5. Gamma Ray- Power Metal 6. Saxon- Heavy Metal 7. Europe- Glam Metal 8. Sonata Arctica- Power Metal 9. Dragonforce- Power Metal 10. Rage Against the Machine- Rap Metal Heavy metal and Power metal dominate my tastes, while Glam and RATM are actually pretty nice occasionally. _________________ |

 My top 7 metal bands (yes, 7 for random efect) would be...1. Nightwish ~ symphonic metal 2. System of a Down ~ alternative/nu metal 3. Sonata Arctica ~ power/prog metal 4. Dragonforce ~ power metal 5. Static X ~ industrial metal 6. Disturbed ~ alternative/nu/heavy metal 7. Sigh ~ Avant-garde metal There is really NO way to describe Sigh.  its like It Dies Today, except i think that IDT is better ^.^Oh, btw, i bought a Nightwish Concert dvd today, its really awesome, has like 30 songs on it. They sound much better live...this is still with Tarja. |

I heard it had something to do with a disagreement with the band members...??? But even after she left, WHY it the world would they replace her with someone like Annette??!?!? Re: Metal in General I know. Now there's nothing that makes them stand out.
And I think Tarja was booted because she was getting too full of herself after becoming famous, but there are people who say that it was something that the band didn't like about her and their manager being together. Although I read an interview with her the other day, and she seemed really nice, and saying she hoped Nightwish were lucky and did well with their new singer. _________________ . . . . . .
