I think we will find that the words in the AL said over the eggs will prevent them from hatching for someone who is currently a rider whose dragon is still alive. We have evidence that it is possible that a rider who has had a dragon that died to get a knew dragon. Galby at least believes this because he tried to get a second dragon from the riders.

wow we're getting a bit off topic and i feel like we can cut the tension with a knife......anywho. I don't think a dragon rider having two dragons is possible. I'm prettly sure that if eragon got another dragon saphira would be pretty jealous....same with murt.....i don't know how thorn would take it. He looks like the type who needs a lot of attention though. I don't think having two dragons is possible for any rider, Mr. 96, BUT that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be super cool if it WERE possible

IE96 I was relying on people having the intelligence to figure out my opinion from the post and as you demonstrated it required no thinking to figure out my opinion. Also at the time of the post I wasn't entirely sure whether I agreed or disagreed and so was leaving my options open.

On topic: On top of the problems with getting the second egg to hatch there are the problem one rider would face if he had two dragons... Stuff like which dragon to ride, how to prevent them from killing each other, making sure they would get along, the training of the younger dragon.

I think that it is either arya or Roran and Katrina's child. no one ever said there weren't female riders either, right? And maybe Katrina's mom was one? I dunno... Murtagh with two dragons will upset the balance of power in alagaesia and Galby will conquer all of alagaesia should that happen. it's better if it's in Arya's hands, though.

It's possible. But I don't think that it's going to happen. Just why it doesn't make sense to me. And I don't think that the greenie will belong to Arya. She is an amazing elf but she doesn't have the "profile" of a rider. It's just my view.

yeah, it seems that all the riders have some strange thing in common amongst them, something that arya lacks, but maybe it only appears when you bacome a rider...

Still, I don't think that it's possible for a rider to have two dragons... I mean, as a partner, like Eragon and Saphira. one would probably get jealous of the other.
