Wil ran down the street, trying to gain his bearings. He had been sitting outside the city when suddenly the guards surrounded and arrested him. He was blindfolded and taken to the prison. Now it was two hours later and he'd broken out, the late spring sun starting to fall to the west. He'd never been in the capital before, except once, and he'd been headed to the castle in a straight line then. Now, he was utterly lost. Running for his life, shouting at the citizens to get out of his way, and lost. He jumped up onto the side of a building and scaled the wall. He rolled onto the roof as maybe a dozen arrows chinked the side of the building. Wil got to his feet in a low crouch, looking around. He saw the castle standing against the wall, a picture-perfect field of grass behind it, outside the wall. Wil stood there in awe for a moment. "Whoa." he uttered in pure amazement. He saw a chimney not far off and, noticing that the guards had run on, thinking Wil would be at the end, Wil decided to slide down this chimney into an unsuspecting someone's house.

OOC:Yay! I feel like joining.

IC:Dragonfly looked down the street both ways, then entered the house. Luckily, she had sensed the owners of said house were gone. Dragon had been hiding from the guards all around the capital, ever since she'd been seen to be an Ohnyaeli. She didn't know how, but now she was wanted. And Dragon knew enough about the king to know that wasn't good.
Dragonfly looked around, and spread her wings fully. She hated teleporting in cities because they were so confusingly laid out and she could pop in on a group of random people.
And, she amended, if I flew, I could easily be shot down.

Dragon just shrugged off her present troubles and raided the house's kitchen. She hadn't had anything to eat for days, and she noticed that. Already she looked unnaturally thin.
The only problem was there were no plants that were like the ones in the oceans that were supposed to be a main source of the Ohyaeli's food. Dragon stuffed what she couldn't eat in a bag-along with several things that were not hers-and tied the neck. (note: she's not stealing, its just she has a horrible memory and her hands basically think for themselves. And she's attracted to shiny objects.)

Dragonfly smelled some humans closing in on the house. Her eyes opened wide as she detected shouts and the woosh of arrows. But they were shooting at something else. Dragon backed into the shadows as the guards ran right past the house.
"I wonder who they're chasing," she muttered to herself. No sooner had she said that when a person crashed down the chimney, spewing out ash in copious amounts.

Dragon yelled out and jumped, turning around so quickly that she knocked over a couple chairs and a table.
"Did you have to do that?!" she yelled, while coughing on the ash.

Wil coughed harshly. If there's one thing worse than cigar smoke, it's ash. he thought miserably. He'd heard a shriek as he fell, but didn't understand what it was. It wasn't that it was a different language, but Wil thought it might have just been too high-pitched for him to hear very clearly. "Wha-what?" he coughed, coming out of the chimney and brushing what soot he could off himself. He saw something almost dragon-like standing over a broken table and chairs. "I was running from them." he threw a thumb towards the window.

OOC: Dragon looks mostly human, but has claws, sharp teeth and very large dragonfly wings. Sorry, I keep forgetting to say that.

IC:Dragonfly stared at the other person for a minute.
"Um.....right. I kinda figured that. So am I. I'm Dragonfly and I'm an Ohnyaeli. Who are you?"
She looked out the window for a minute. The guards were still out there and coming this way fast. They were even searching nearby houses. Dragon withdrew her head and started coughing again on the ash.
"You couldn't have chosen a better way to get in, could you?" Dragon asked.
Of course, you've chosen many more unorthodox ways of entering, she told herself.
She could hear shouting outside, and then there was knocking on the door. It flew open, Dragon having neglected to shut it behind her.
"Oh, crap!" she said as several soldiers rushed in.
One of them shouted to their captain. "We found them! They're in here!"

Dragonfly drew out her two short obsidian blades. "Now what?"

"The window!" Wil shouted, unsheathing his own dark blade. He ran toward the window and jumped, shattering the glass with his weight. He rolled as he landed, cutting one guard on the calf and pushing him toward the others. They fell in a huddled mass in the doorway. Wil looked back toward Dragonfly. "Out the window!" He took off into the forming crowd to try and lose what guards would come next.

OOC: im in!

Sekoree spotted some action at a nearby house. Loads of Galbatorix's men were going into the house. He just pulled out of the crowd when he overheard several people who had seen somone jump out of a window and make a run for it.

Sekoree decided to look for this "person that jumped out of a window" and headed back into the crowed

OOC. Mind if I join?

Orphina was leading Murdoc through the village when she saw a load of soldiers advancing on a house. She knew something was happening that she shouldn't get involved in but she did anyway. Orphina spotted Wil and led Murdoc over to him.
"What's going on?" She asked him, and ducked as a soldier almost took off her head.
"Hey watch it, moron." She called to the soldier.

The soldier turned on her which cold eyes and came at her with his sword. Orphina cursed and let go of Murdoc's reins and drew her sword.
"Stay back, I'm warning you" The guard only laughed at her threat and carried on advancing on her. "I warned you" Orphina swung her sword at the soldier, who ducked and kicked her in the stomach, she fell backwards, winded. The soldier came up to her and raised his sword, she kicked him back and jumped to her feet, the soldier came at her again, swinging his sword. Orphina ducked the blade and swung her own sword, this time it hit home and the soldier fell to the ground, badly wounded but still alive.
"Come at me again and I will kill you, that's a promise." Orphina whistled and Murdoc came trotting over to her, she took hold of his reins, then mounted.

OOC: of course. lol.

IC: Wil looked all around. The soldiers left no escape. "We can't parley. If Galbatorix speaks with us he could easily find our true names and control us. We can't risk that." he said quietly. "We'll find some way out of this...somehow..."

Sekoree just got out of the worst of the crowed. There he is sekoree thought he's trapped by those gaurds! If he could distract the gaurds then he could teleport outta here! Hey! he shouted you big fat lazy good for nothing lunitics! One solder drew his sword and shouted half of you men get him and take the plesure of killing him! Sekoree drew his sword and stationed his sheild and jumped for one of the soldiers meanwhile starting his teleportion spell. it was 5 against 1. One came at him from behind with a giant battle axe he rolled out of the way and sliced one of the solders legs. 2 swords came clashing down on his sheild making a dent in it. i had better get over to that guy before i teleport without him!

Hmm, why won't they answer me? Orphina thought, then she noticed someone else being attacked by soldiers. Drawing her sword, Orphina rode over, and dealt with one of the soldiers. What is with these soldiers?
Then an idea came to Orphina, and she looked for an opening, but finding none she decided to make one.
"Hey, you there!" she called out in imitation of one of the soldier's voices she'd heard earlier, "Move aside and let your superior pass." Without looking at her, the soldiers created a space for her to go through.

Orphina urged Murdoc on, and he raced through the crowd. As they cantered away, she called over her shoulder,
"Come get me if you can." By now they were ten feet away from the crowd and creating more space every second.

OOC:your turn jayde

OOC:Jayde? you there?

Wil smiled, his pointed teeth gleaming. He sheathed his sword, the blade and sheath instantly disappearing from view. He pulled out an obsidian knife. He threw it toward the soldiers. The blackness buried itself in one's neck. Wil flipped over the soldiers between and withdrew the small blade before the man fell. He cut another's throat with a quick slice. Kicking a soldier backward, Wil did a backflip over the rest and onto another building. "I've got a self-imposed king to dethrone." he yelled. Bowing, he stepped back off the lip of the building as a flurry of arrows filled the empty air. Wil laughed and ran toward the castle. A shadow appeared over him.
You wish to dethrone me, eh? Galbatorix asked him by thought.

Wil immediately blocked his mind off. Dammit. he thought, his smile turning to concern. He peeked back over his shoulder and saw the huge black dragon flying close.

Sekoree retreted and changed his course now knowing where the young man was going. A small flicker of light appered as the gaurds were closing in and sekoree dissapeered.

Orphina, if and when you jump back in(hopefully soon) just jump in anywhere and we'll pick you up as part of the story from there, i'm only doing this right now so we have a small sense of order and to keep things moving from here on.

IC: Wil smiled and leapt onto a lower roof. He threw the obsidian dagger straight up with all his might. There was a clang! as metal rebounding off metal, then an instant sfff (yes, that's the sound it made) as the dagger pierced the dragon's weaker inner thigh skin. Galbatorix and Shurikan roared in unison, a deafening blast which shattered all the windows in a mile-wide radius and shook the whole city. Galbatorix waved his hand and magically withdrew the dagger from his dragon's foreleg. He shouted the word, "Thrysta!" and sent Wil's dagger back towards him. Wil jumped into the air, dodging the dagger. Quick as lighting, he reached out as it passed him and plucked it out of its trajectory path. Sheathing the dagger, Wil landed on the taller building's roof again and drew his sword. He closed his eyes and focused. Flame started to swirl around the black blade. Wil opened his eyes, now pitch black holes encircled by a raged sneer, and lunged at Galbatorix. He swung his blade, releasing a powerful blast of heat and flame straight at Galbatorix. Most of the blast reflected off Galbatorix' barriers, but an eighth of the blast broke through and seared the self-proclaimed king. He roared in anger. "You've won this battle, but your friends will pay." he sneered at Wil, who was breathing heavily from the energy the attack had taken. Shruikan turned and flew toward Mesariah. It's your turn. Prepare to die. was Galbatorix' message.

Orphina saw Galbotorix and his dragon heading for the other dragon. She wasn't a dragonrider, and couldn't use magick. If only I were a dragonrider, I could do something better then just watch. She thought it to herself, then an idea came to her. It was a foolish, but brave plan, at least she thought it was brave.

"Hey Galby. Why don't you come for me instead. Leave the dragon be." She called out, spurring Murdoc into a gallop. Both horse and rider sped away from where the dragon was, where the King and his dragon were flying through the air. This is so foolish. I'm signing my own death warrant.

OOC: Mind if I join you?

IC: The air that day had been thick with the smell of the kill. But, then again, of late it always seemed to be that way. Rauthr made her way through the crowds, her heart pounding from the rush of that stench... the stench of fear.

She glared at the people around her.
Stupid, pathetic Humans. They were so ridiculously blind. So wrapped up in their happiness and their worthless little lives that they couldn't even sense the evil that lurked among them.

Caught up as they were in watching the street fight, none of them seemed to even notice her radical transformation.
She cricked her neck. Well, well, well. If it isn't good to be back in this body again. thought the shade as she drew her tetsubo and smashed open the skull of a passer by.

"You all didn't think you'd just go ahead and start the party without me now, did you?"

OOC: mind if i join?

Hearing a roar, Gavina and her dragon, Ciar followed the sound. Coming upon a battle involving people she came closer. Thats when Gavina noticed Galbatorix. father? why is he down there? Gavina thought. Noticing a human and horse trying to get Galbatorix's attention, Gavina sent her hawk, Tarkan to go annoy the pair. Then Gavina asked Ciar, well, shall we go have some fun? Ciar answered, of course, my hatchling! So as Gavina smiled wickedly and Ciar roared, the two missled out of the sky to help Gavina's father, Galbatorix.

OOC: Astral and Gavina, I don't think any of the people who started this rp, except for Red, are still active. You should probably find another rp if you want to keep it up.
