I might. My grandma found out she had it last tuesday. I wish she didn't have it.

Oh, I'm so sorry. One of my friend's mums died from cancer recently, but there is a huge chance that your gran could easily recover if she has got it!

:( Not to dishearten you Erais, but i have an exact experience with u, my grandmother had a liver cancer too but it's too late its already at stadium something so it's imposible to do surgery because the root is already everywhere.. *shiver* that's the most scarry things about cancer, its root!! *shiver*

She passed away when i was at 7 grade and it's sooo sad because i lived with her for 5 years (at that time both my parents were studying overseas) so yea i can more than understand ur anxiety... :( :(

Still, there's no reason to give up hope!
I live with my gran, she moved in with us after my grandpa died, and we had an extension built on the side of our house, so shes kind of got her own little house on the side of ours!

Em...Britain has free healthcare, we have NHS its better than you yanks. Our hospitals are government run so taxes go towards that, our system is fairer. You have to be a member of britain though... you cant just come over with no insurance and expect free treatment.

All 4 of my grandparents had cancer, in one form or another. The most recent was my mother's father. He lives in Pakistan, and when I was in 4th grade he came to the States to live with my Aunt, who's a doctor. She watched him during his kemo, and he's alright. But during his breaks from treatment he'd come visit us and there was always that frightening thought, he may not be here next time. It's alright though, you'll get through it. My father lost both his parents to cancer, before I knew them, and my other grandmother had breat cancer. It was really tough on my family.

Yeah, but our NHS isn't exactly great! It's fairer, I admit, but there are always huge waiting lines and stuff.

Ya I guess. Well I hope it helps. Kemo has killed more people then it helps. So I am kind of worried. I am scared for the pain she will have to go through.

All system: democracy, socialism, liberalism, communism... are basically good, it applied on the region that has the most compatibility with the system. It should have run well, but in most cases, when the system is already good, it's the implementation and the people who ruin the scheme..

Post Message for Eragon's twin sister

I am so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I hope and pray that all will go well with you and your family. I too, have been through the same thing. It's hard, unfortunatly this is a part of life. The part that we all dread.
I lost my Grandmother 9 years ago to a brain tumor and my Grandfather to Leukemia just a 1 1/2 year ago.
My sister had cervical cancer and pancreatitis. She committed suicide 6 years ago. That was the hardest of all the losses I've had. She left behind a 9yr. old son.

This much I can tell you. Just be strong for her and especially for yourself. Somehow we always find the strength to carry on. Time is the biggest healer. You never stop missing them, it's just that in time it gets easier. The pain fades a little with every passing day. Just remember one other thing: YOU CAN"T PUT GRIEF OFF!!! You have to face it no matter how painful it is. My daughter is going through this right now. She starts Grief Counseling next week.

Good Luck. I hope all goes well for you and your family.

Ha. My life sucks. I now have two other grandparents sick. Joy. That makes three. Ahhh. What will I do. One has cancer. One is in the hospital for her heart. The other goes about his daily life (Bless his old soul) with heart problems. Luckly, he will do whatever my mom says. Because of my mom I have never had shots. (Unless you count when your a baby)

the dog eye is that color because if ur eye is red then its fine but if its that color it means u have a tumor and im so fortunate not to have a cancer family member....

Post To Erias
My Grandfather died of pancreotic[sp?] Cancer when i was 10. It was so hard to see him lying in a bed knowing i could do nothing to help him except show him how much i loved and cared for him. What made it even harder was he ran a camp in New Hampshire and whenver i needed to get away from my family or anything at all, i was always welcome there. It was my second home and he tought me alot about. . . . . everything!! He was very special to me and it hurt mentally and physiclly to see him like that. After he died i didn't know what to do with myself. I didn't have my second home anymore because my nana couldn't run the camp by herself so she handed it over to someone else{they lived there at the camp}.
My other grandfather has so many heart problems it's sad. He has had a heart attack,a 5-way bypass, a 3-way bypass,he's diabetic,he had problems with his kidneys{they shutdown after one of his big surgerys} and he has alot of other health problems, but he is still alive. I thank God for that, cause without my other grandpy i dont know what i'd do. He has done alot for my family in time of need.
Another family member i lost to cancer was my dog.{don't know if you guys count pets as family members but my family does}She was the best dog ever, i loved her soo much! Her name was Bell, she had the best personality you could ask for in a dog. She loved my mom and dad alot and the same with my parents. She had had cancer for a long time, we just didn't know it. Her death was hard on my parents.

But you should never lose hope that your loved one could get better. My grandfather did, maybe what happened with him will happen with your grandparent!?!

when my grandad died it was the last week of term before Christmas...
my dads birthday is on the 30th of december
We were meant to go on a holiday...
we couldn't because of the funeral...
so we traded a caribean cruise to feel miserable and cry
We were supposed to touch the coffin...
i couldn't do it...
I started to cry and everyone else...
my dad was at the end of the aisle...
i ran out crying...
my shoe fell off... it had a heel...
everyone looked at me...
i didn't care at the time i was to sad

yeah, I guess. I've never known anyone with cancer though. Well, my friends mum died of cancer, which is really sad  but I don't think a family member has ever had it.

My granddad had been smoking for 70 years, and died age 90 from... the flu. &0 years smoking and didn't get lung cancer... I was impressed. When he went (last may) it was sad, but I knew that he had to go eventually, and we were close, so it was easier than I expected. Considering I was only 13 then, I felt like I had spent an age with him, we couldn't have been closer.

I lost my great-grandma when I was two, and now we're losing SF to school! BURN THE SCHOOL!

And I agree with Nutta, all go to The Inklings when SF shuts down!
