As Equinox watched as Temais and Jia landed and begun attacking the slayers. Aaron's forces had struck into the slayers lines. He snarled, and begun to shoot lighting at slayers as they ran by. One jumped away from his attacked and sliced at his leg. Snarling, he flapped into the air. Grabbing his spear, the man threw the shaft at him. Doing a quick back wing, the spear tore a small chuck from his side. Diving forward, he swatted at the man as he jumped at him. Moving his head, he bathed the man in electricity. Perking his head up, he heard crying, screaming and crying. Snarling angrily to himself he leapt into the air. They have children here! he roared. At once he quickly flew towards them, landing next to the children to protect them. Not sure if they would fully understand he said in the Ancient Language to the kids, Don't worry, we're not going to hurt you. We just want to protect you.

Aaron snarled as he heard Equinox's call that there were children here. "Damn cowards, teaching kids to do this." Snarling to himself he took his anger out on the soldiers he met. Every slayer on the ground was a testiment to their cruelty. He snarled with rage, just paying mind on his sword as it tore apart the flesh of his foes.

OOC: Woah for some reason this one didn't show up as having new posts... my bad.

IC: Temias continued dodging in and out of the fight, moving quickly to avoid the many projectiles. These people were experienced dragon killers, and so he did suffer a few small gashes when he couldn't get out of the way fast enough. He relied mainly on his fire and his tail, and also quick swipes with his claws. The deep blue noticed one of the groups reloading one of their projectile-launching machines, and rapidly flapped towards it, tail lashing to the side to hastily turn his body. He darted in toward the machine, ignoring a few arrows that lodged in the scales around his shoulders. He folded his wings when he drew nearer to save them from injury and ran the last dragonlength on foot, pouncing on the machine and the humans around it with a burst of fire and a flurry of claws and tail. When he had smashed the surrounding area to bits he took off again, but not before receiving a couple more arrows in his sides. To a dragon they were mere pinpricks, but they were extremely annoying. When Equinox announced that there were children present, Temias growled. What was wrong with this two legs, to bring their young to such a battle? He looked over towards that spot and saw the green, grounded near the young two legs and protecting them from harm. Hopefully they would understand what Equinox was trying to do.

IC:
Jia turned as she heard Equinox. Outrage flared in her eyes. Twolegs were so stupid sometimes. She spread her wings and fluttered (wing assisted jumps) over to the green, positioning herself on the other side of Equinox to shield the young ones even better. Your safe now, my friends. We won't hurt you. This is not the lifestyle for you. she crooned, baring her teeth at an older Slayer that dared approach the children. She stabbed at his mind, making him stumble back. At this she pounced forward and bite into his arm, nearly biting it cleanly off. She growled and jerked on the limb, making the Slayer cry out involuntarily. She felt something long, sharp, and barbed sink into the side of her neck just where it met her shoulder, where the scales softened slightly so she could move. She yelped and released him, springing back. She couldn't move her neck around to look at the wound or whatever was in it, so she didn't try. She snarled at the Slayer and pounced again, her talons flashing as she ripped him, literally, to pieces. She leapt back toward the children, blood flowing easily from the wound in her neck.

Equinox studied the fighting for a time. With the nomads and Aaron's soldier's they'd overwhelm the slayers. Part of him wanted to kill them all, for daring to hunt his kin like common deer, but the other part wanted to have mercy. After all they had these slayers vastly outnumbered. As he thought this over he heard a scream. With a whip he snapped his head around to see a rather bulky slayer with a sword cleave a small child in two. Equinox roared with rage. At once he dove at the slayer, ignoring the pain as the massive sword sliced into his side. You kill your own children! What kind of monster are you? He hissed. With a roared he sent a lightning bolt down which blasted the slayer into bits. Many of the younglings become to run in fear. Equinox sighed and flew around those that fled making sure no slayers got to them. At once he located the man who must be their leader. He stood out in the back simply overseeing the fighting. His armor seemed made of dragon scales. At once he angled towards the man.

Aaron led his soldier's into the slayers. With a flick of his blade he countered a strike from an enemy soldiers. With a quick twist he grabbed the man's arm and shoved him into the ground and with a quick slash decapitated him. He noticed several children run, many ran into the nomad's caravan's, by accident or not he wasn't sure, but they'd likely be safer there.
"We have them beat and yet they won't surrender. What manner of fools are we dealing with?" He snarled.

OCC: Meh, I'm not going to reply with Nathen in this one. I think its obvious he is fighting in the big battle not far away.

ICC:

The young slayer held on strongly to the chain he had around the young dragons neck until by chance he caught movement in his vision from above. Letting go of the chain the human with the glaive in his hand barely had time to let go of the chain and did a combat roll out onto the open sand just as the dragon landed. But not quite quick enough as Nathens brother would learn shortly. Standing back up now with his double ended spear the human yelled. "No longer am I slave to your kind! Now I am the master! One storm lord still yet lives! Soon you shall feel the wrath of an entire race betrayers!" Summoning on the skill gifted to his people veins of electricity danced over the young slayers body. The sky darkened in reply and lightning flashed in the clouds. The young slayers smile disapeared though after he noticed the red fluid squirting out from between the claw rivets that dug deep across his chest plate. WIth eyes filled with disbelief the man fell to his knees subcumming to his injurys. The boys body was dead. His mind just did not realize it yet. With labored breathing he clung to life. A testement to human stubborness. With what strength the slayer had left he intended to fry all the dragons. Dying or not the intensity of the electricity dancing over his body increased.

Because of dragon kind this man lost everything. His father was executed protecting them. His brother in the army. From what he knew. Was declared killed in action by a rebel dragon. His people even, once strong dragon worshipers were wiped out after defending them. This man intended to get revenge. If he was to die, he would take them all with him in a strong, godlike display of power. Like a bug touching a zapper he would fry them all. Or die trying.

Equinox swatted the man away with his tail. He lapt up but as he striked Equinox shot upwards. Behind him he could see Aaron's forces smashing with those of the slaywers. The nomads fired arrows from horseback. Equinox watched as the carnage unfolded. So much bloodshed and death, when they all could have a common enemy. At once he leapt into the air. He opened his mind to allow each of theirs to touch his as he spoke, Stop this all of you! We have no need to fight anylonger! Slayers, you are outmatched, if you don't want to die sease all fighting.

Equinox watched one of the men stare at him. The man raised his spear as if to try and impale him. "My parents were killed by a dragon." His flexed his fists. "I will see justice be done."
Does that make us all evil? Equinox asked, Can you judge a whole race by the action of one of two? What about yourselves? You slaughter dragons, couldn't we intern start slaughtering you for the same reason you hate us?
The human glared at him. "Stop talking dragon! You are just a worthless beast."
Equinox shook his head. I'm a monster? What about those who'd kill children just to win a battle?
He snarled at Equinox and said, "If we surrender what will you do to us?"
That is up to the nomads. Equinox replied. He stared back at them as several guarded the wagons but a few fought on foot or horseback. They will decie your fate, not me.
"We just those savages just as much as we trust you fire breathing fiends!" he leapt at Equinox who blasted him away with a lightning bolt. He sighed but couldn't help but be gladdened, at least the Slayers seemed to be losing their morals.
