@curfew: Spot on with the elves. That's why I don't like them. Except for eragon's trainer whose name escapes me.

You can't blame the elves for who they are. The dragons are the reason to why they are as they are. And the dragons also became who they are after they bounded with the elves. Basically both races changed for the "better" when they bounded.

I'm not blaming the elves, I just don't like them very much. They come off as incredibly stuck up which annoys me.
The sad thing for me is that the character I want dead most (Arya) has zero chance of being killed off.

Yeah, Arya, Orrin, Angela, and a few more people have a chance of being killed.

I'm not sure. The ending would be way more dramatic if Arya did died, but as you said she has a chance.

As would saphira's death. It is a possibility no matter how slim. And after all, Brom's dragon saphira died.

True, but all of them dying would be too morbid for CP. If any of them do die (which is highly unlikely) the most likely would be Arya followed by Saphira.

I wouldn't mind at all if Cave Kent(Roran) dies.
He just is to much! Way to freaking much. A farmer without any combat training kills 200 men, wins a wrestling against a stronger creature who have battles as a living, goes into battle successfully the day after he was whipped more than Jesus. And he only goes on with simple things. Katrina and killing.

He is a bad mix up between a cave man and Clark Kent D: (there of the nick name "Cave Kent")

I don't mind Roran. His story-line is actually more interesting than Eragon's in my opinion. Yes, he's completely unrealistic, but he's interesting too. Except for his name...annoying...

The reason why I think Arya has more chance of dying than Roran would be because Arya's death would have much more of an effect on Eragon than Roran's.

Who do I think will die in Book Four? Galby. Well I'm bound to be right.

Murtagh is another one who is going to die as well. He can't really be left alive.

You should read it. It's really good!

Can't really see that forcing him to leave. It would probably cause him to go insane (and/or commit suicide) but leaving wouldn't really be the right sort of response. And also, it doesn't seem like the sort of thing that CP would do. Killing arya or someone-slim chance. Making Saphira and Eragon lose their connection-probably not. It would be too dark an ending for him.

But if it had to be main characters, I would like to see Eragon dead, Nasuada, Orrin, Izlanzadi, and maybe Arya.

It's probably only gonna be one or two. Let's face it. In three books with three huge battles (and like four smaller ones) where it looked like all hope was lost, only three or four main characters were killed off. And that's if you count Ajihad and Hrothgar as 'main'. Let's call them 'important' instead. But anyway, there is only one book left with at the most two big battles in it. Doesn't look very likely.

More people, yes. More important characters? Maybe. Like 2 or 3 instead of the traditional 1. But normally the writer doesn't kill of a lot of them at the end. It's an ongoing process.

No. CP wouldn't kill Arya, and if he did he would find somehow to bring her back.

The dark side? That Star Wars rubbish! It would be cool if Eragon got killed, to make the ending more surprising.

Eragon does survive. And so does Murtagh and Thorn as well for all of you who cares about them ^^
