 About EldestI heard that Eldest was coming out in 2011.....Now wat is up with that? I really doubt it but there was another that it was coming out in 2009; more likely but peps were pretty sure about the 2011 thing. Also this can be a topic about Eldest rumors since there isn't one yet. _________________

Re: About Eldest It would be really bad though. The actors would look way too old. I hope it isn't true, imagine waiting till 2011 for Eldest the movie? That means that Brisingr will be in like 2016! And what about the next one? whoa, too far away, I hope it will be in 2009 at least.

Re: About Eldest i have heard 2011 and 2009 as well ... although i think it will be 2011. reason being is that a couple of the actor supposed to be appearing in the movie were away working on other movies. i know that the actress who played ayra was in the movie soon to be released, inkheart. i think there was on eother but im not sure. anyways now that inkheart is finished and they started to film the movie about now, im pretty sure they are going to put tons of time into putting the movie together saying that so many people hated it. so.... i think 2011 sounds right...

Re: About Eldest Well, on the one hand they might put MUCH more effort into the second movie as you said they might elve king (hopefully its not the same director)
And on the other hand, we are going to be sitting around waiting for the next movie till 2011 and who knows how long till the other 2! So I really don't know if this is for good or bad. Frankly I don't want to see another bad inheritance movie though. Im leaning towards the good... _________________

Re: About Eldest I really hope they don't mess up with the second movie. It'll be kinda of complicated with the whole switching back and forth between Roran, Nasuada and the Varden, and Eragon at Ellesmera. Much like in LOTR where they go between Frodo and Sam, Merry and Pippin, and Legolas, Aragon, and Gimli....actually, a lot like that. lol I pray to could they handle it well.

Re: About Eldest I think that, like mostly everybody else, waiting for it is probably best. However I'm a little curious to see how they would adapt the book to film seeing as so much stuff was left out. I know that they can just add Jeod in with Roran, but it was much better that Roran found out about Eragon that way.. I just think that as much as I would like it to come out in 2009, I would much rather them take the time to make the movie that the book deserves.

Re: About Eldest i agree with loivissa. we just have 2 wait for it . so much has been left out. either another director takes up eragon again [properly] or they make eldest HUGE and add whatever is missing and some useless stuff...

Re: About Eldest The movies overall will probably end up being nothing like the books. Think of everything they left out from Eragon, the most important I think being that SAPHIRA BROKE ISIDAR MITRIHM when Eragon killed Durza. Now THAT will prove a problem if they ever make Brisingr into a movie.
