i think since its green(color of the EARTH) and dwarves came from the EARTH(or was it stone or just earth in general??) it will be Orik's or some other dwarf... then they will be accepted into the spell and some other dwarven guy will take king instead of orik.

Green to me is the colour of the forest. Brown is the colour of the earth.

I think you meant forest. I kind of follow your line of thought. And in Eldest CP, constantly describes the elves with green, moss color, bark color... He makes reference in their clothing to warm or earth tone colors.
