 Alone in the woods So cold Jaden thought to herself as she walked through the woods. This was one of her favourite passtimes as she knew no-one would dare walk this way after dark. She smiled, Zidane? Silence, Oh thats perfect, she's asleep. Loneliness swept over Jaden and she sighed, oblivious to the facte she was being watched...

Kariana glided effortlessly above the canopy. A deadly silence hung in the night air. Her sharp amethyst eyes scanned the forest floor far below.
I know I saw something! She thought to herself. Slowly, she dipped into a shallow dive, enabling her to examine the dense forest more closely. Kariana wasn't worried, for she knew that it would be difficult for anyone, or anything to see her in the stifling darkness. There it was again. A flicker of movement caught her eye. Hungrily, she followed it by air, hoping that she could finally make a kill after being deprived of food for days.

Jaden sniffed the air, Heads up, came a voice making Jaden jumped three feet in the air, Zidane! Thank you for waking up! Jaden's elven ears picked up something on the wind. SHe spun around as the dragon flew at her.

Ahmed had landed on the shore of Alagaesia naught but three days ago. Ever since, he had been checking out all the sites and trying to know the landscape to see about moving his family here. Now, he was looking through the forest to seek some council with the elves of the land but he sensed something. He sensed the presence of some sort of creature, one he had seen before. He listened intently as seeing was almost useless in this darkness.
