I've noticed that since I've started campaigning (that's pretty much what it is) against the abbrev. cursing, most of it has stopped.

Saphirarox ~ im like you, trying to cut out cursing all together. i have two nephews and i want to set an example for them. its ugly and just makes me feel nasty when i do slip. plus its not something God wants me to do. i dont want to do the "do what i say and not what i do" thing with them.

AnnieBee ~ i agree with you about being around those who do curse. although i would hope that people would look beyond the "guilt by association" and get to know the person. i know that doesnt normally happen. whats the saying? a picture is worth a thousand words.

Louis ~ i dont consider myself to be a whiz with computer workings. so i have no idea what AnnieBee was talking about with acronyms and things. but i do agree that those who are cursing on here shouldnt be allowed to do so. no offense meant to anyone but if i wanted to listen to cursing i could just go outside and listen to my nieghbor yell at his stepson.

anyone in here like the x men movies??? i know they are doing one about wolverine coming out in 2008. but does anyone know if they will do another x men movie? i enjoy sci fi kind of movies. as long as it isnt to gory. for anyone looking for good family movies. try the love comes softly set. there are 6 all together. but i am not sure if the 5th and 6th are released yet to dvd or vhs. if anyone is interested here are the titles. you should be able to find them in any local movie store.

the worst thing i have ever got during a t-storm was really loud thunder while up stairs

Thanks, I think we'll keep the arguments to a minimum.

Where I live we're very lucky, I've never experienced an earthquake, a tornado, a cyclone, a twister, or snow, although I've seen snow when i went overseas to canada.

With global warming, thunderstorms are beginning to get much more severe, and cause a lot more damage. I personally don't think I'd like to be watching them outside, sitting on a fold out chair with popcorn, in the years that are to come.

It was clear here in Nac for the first half of the day, and then the clouds moved in. It didn't start to rain until about 7:30. That was right about when me and my Grandpa got back from the store. We got soaked!

ok thanks anniebee. we had another thunderstorm here again today. my sister, two nephews and myself had just got to the pool. my oldest nephew had done one cannon ball and my sis had just gotten in. and my youngest nephew was trying to decide if he should jump in or walk in. i was on my way to the deep side of the pool when the thunder and a huge bolt of lighting came. my youngest nephew screamed and said "im outa of here!!" i think it must be the shortest swim in history. we were there for all of 2minutes before it started up.

so how was everyone elses day??
