That would make an interesting twist, it could either bring Dawn & Gornath closer by testing them in battle, or Gornath could prove himself by fighting for her, or it could cause them to run away, and meet up again somewhere and that could cause them to get closer.

Yes, Danagon is Galby's son and Andep (Danagon's dragon) is Eliza's mate, and Eliza's dead rider (Drenor) is Danagon foster brother.

and Dusk(Dawn's rider) is Galby's "right hand man" so Danagon could know that Dusk is bad and assume that his dragon is too, and tell Andep who would tel Eliza who would see Dawn with Gornath and attack her!!!
