 The EggOOC: Sorry people, this is just for dark and me.
 Liam stretched as he walked through the thick trees outside of Osilon. Fin and Vix were off visiting their mother and family at the tree where Liam had first discovered the dragonettes. He smiled as he thought back to that day. It was hard to believe that was three years ago. Three years ago and he had only succeeded in finding one person suitable for the three eggs the dragonette queen had entrusted to him. He frowned slightly to himself. The elf had looked everywhere for the people deserving of one, but only the Nephilim Niriz had recieved one so far. He sighed in exasperation, trying to get back to his calm and happy mood. Lately he'd been thinking too hard about the eggs and the promise he'd made. It had him so tense, he'd almost given one to a wagon driver, but came to his senses just in time. The black-haired elf was so distracted he didn't hear the tell-tale sounds of a predator stalking him, until the thing lunged at him from behind. Liam cried out in alarm and twisted around to defend himself, but he tripped over a root and hit his head. Re: The Egg Eris observed the forest as he walked through. Everything seemed oddly peaceful considering the last few months. The Alfin had decided to stay outside the forest so he was alone for the first time in awhile. It was strange really, he was starting to grow use to the snake people. Everything seemed to have happened so fast, maybe it was because when his mind was healed everything seemed so jammed together. The trees themselves seemed to be speaking ot him. He stared down at the mark on his hand, though Quasar had died over a year ago he could still fell the dragoness. His mind was healed, but there was still a strange emptiness in its corners. Shrugging, he continued on, he stopped when he heard something. A large bear seemed to have pounced on something.. an elf?
Pulling out his sword he rushed forward as it struck the elf. Jetting out his hand he shouted, "Brisngr!" The bear caught fire and snarled, and turned towards him. As it leapt at him he jumped out of the way and sliced it down tis side. The bear howled in pain and Eris sliced off its head. Re: The Egg Liam weakly pushed at the bear as it swatted him with an enormous clawed paw. He groaned in agony as the beast's claws ripped open his chest. Pulling himself together, he looked down at the wound. It wasn't deep, but it was bleeding a lot. And for a creature of Du Weldenvarden to attack an elf, it must have been sick or mad. Just my luck, and Vix isn't here to heal me. he thought to himself, groaning in pain again. He blinked as suddenly the bear's head went flying, and then a man was leaning over him.

Re: The Egg Eris looked at the elf's wound as he pointed. Embrasing magic he placed his hand over the wound and healed it. He used some of the elves own strength along with his own to heal it. Seeing him pass out Eris used a bit of more magic to heal his blood lose and a bit more to try and regain consionsess. When finished he simply sat on a log and waited for him to come to.

Re: The Egg Liam could feel the man draining his energy slightly to heal his wounds and he tried to come around, but after awhile decided to just let his body move at it's own pace. In the back of his mind he imagined what Fin and Vix would say when they learned of this particular escapade.
About an hour after he lost consciousness, Liam felt his strength returning. Or rather someone was pushing strength into him. He cracked an eye open and looked down at his chest. Sure enough, a small golden dragonette was perched there, looking up at him reproachfully. There was another dragonette, this one black as pitch, sitting beside her chittering angrily at him. "Fin, that's not a nice thing to call someone who's just been injured," he said weakly to the black. Oh really? You should hear some of the other stuff I said on the way here and while you were unconscious. the surly little black shot back. He looked over at the man who had healed Liam's wounds and stared sharply at him. Who's he anyway? He was here when we arrived, but I wasn't looking for introductions then. He really was quite creative with some of the names you know, it's a pity you didn't hear all of them. Of course, knowing you, there will be time in the future. Vix said, walking up Liam's chest and butting his chin with her head. She arched her neck so she could look him in the eye. You're almost as troublesome as a Rider, and we're not even bonded to you. she teased. Liam smiled at the dragonettes, then looked up at the man who had rescued him. "Hello, I'm Liam. This is Vix, and the little black is her brother Fin. Sorry to have caused you trouble. Re: The Egg "It's fine," Eris replied. "I'm just glad I got here on time." He sighed and looked at the corpse, "It seems everything's been going crazy lately. Ah well, Nice to meet you Liam, you too Vix and Fin." he said. He watched the dragonetts for a time, "Where are they from? I don't mean to sound rude, I've never seen such small dragons before."

Re: The Egg "Oh boy, here we go again," Liam said in a resigned tone. He sat up and watched as Fin stalked over to the man, every scale on his body bristling with indignation. Liam even thought he detected a faint rumble from the earth. Can you please explain to me why being called a small dragon offends him so much? I mean, it was your kind that made the world forget about the dragonettes after the Fall. he asked Vix, scratching her chin.
Vix snorted at the question. Why does he always have to drink from a pond before Ranor? Why do mosquitoes annoy him so? And the question for the ages: How on earth could I actually be related to him? The answer? The world may never know. You ask him, see what kind of rant you get in reply. she said to the elf, a hint of amusement in her tone. She cracked open one tiny, golden eye and watched her brother. The tip of his tail was twitching so hard, if his element had been Air, it would've been making a sound like a bullwhip. Don't mean to be rude, eh? Small, huh? I'll show you small! Fin grumbled at the man, his tiny black eyes almost glowing with indignation. This time the rumble from the ground was very much detectable. For your information, sir, we are not dragons. We are dragonettes. And I do not take kindly to being called small. Would you like it if everyone you met doted over how 'cute' and 'tiny' you are? Hmmm? Would you? I think not. Therefore I must ask you to refrain from calling me small again. Or else. Fin hissed. With each word he spoke, another rumble shook the ground. He finished his tirade from the air in directly in front of the man's face, his wings beating the air on either side of his head. Liam sighed and reached out to grab Fin away before he bit the guy or something. "Sorry about him, he's very touchy. Especially when he's hungry, just woke up, or... Well, basically anytime," he said, tucking the dragonette beside him, ignoring the churning ground and Fin's protestations. "Fin, stop that or you're going to pass out in a minute," he chided the creature. Fin eyed him, but the ground stopped moving. "These particular dragonettes are from the forest around these parts. Their family home is actually just a few miles away from here. Re: The Egg Eris couldn't help but smirk at Fin's outburst, it reminded so much of Savania when she was younger, along with others he knew, "I'm sorry to offend you Fin, I've just never seen your kind before." To Liam he said, "That's fine. Dragonettes do seem interesting though, it's a shame with what happened in the fall." He watched them for a moment and said, "Are dragonettes just as rare as dragons?"

Fin was trying to writhe out of the hold Liam had him in. Enough Fin! You used too much energy with that show and you need to rest! he scowled at the black, his tone making it clear that he wanted no argument. Fin looked up at him and growled, but settled down.
You know what happened in the Fall? Interesting. Although I should have guessed that our ancestors wouldn't have been able to entirely erase our existence from people's memories. I'm assuming your dragon has a memory of us or something? Vix asked, stepping off of Liam and walking over to the man. She curled up on his lap and looked at him. Re: The Egg Eris glanced down at Vix and smiled. He couldn't help but give a sad sigh though when she indirectly mentioned Quasar He stared off into the distance, "My name is Eris. Quasar was very smart, she knew much about the world around us. She and brother both saved my lives several times turning the fall." With a sad glanced he stared down at the ground, "Quasar though... she died about a year ago. Sacrificed herself to save a friend. My mind was ruined after that, but the Alfin managed to heal it thank God." He shook his head at it, "You probably don't even know what Alfin are. They are snake people, though at one time they were dragons. I owe my sanity and maybe even my life to them."

Re: The Egg "They were once dragons? What do you mean?" Liam asked with a puzzled expression. Whatever Eris was speaking of, there was no record of it in the libraries of Ellesmera. Liam would have found it if it was. He would have asked more about Quasar, but he could tell by the look on Eris's face that his pain was still very raw. Even Fin seemed to sense as much, for he crooned at the man.
I'm sorry for your loss. Fin said privately to the ex-Rider. There was a familiar feeling about the man, but Fin couldn't tell what it was. He knew it was something he'd only felt once, and Vix felt it to, he could tell. What do you think Vix? he asked his sister privately. Whatever it was, she'd figure it out. You really are hopeless, you know it? Vix said in exasperation as her brother contacted her. She knew exactly what was going on, but she wanted to hear more about Eris, just to make sure. Tell us more about yourself. Liam is in no condition to move anywhere, at least not for the moment. she said to Eris. She jabbed Liam's mind sharply when he opened his mouth to say he was fine. She growled in satisfaction when he winced slightly. Re: The Egg "Yes," he replied to Liam "I'm not surprised the elves don't have it recorded. It happened thousands of years ago. The Darkness spread to Alagaesia for a time. Not much, only a little. The Alfin aren't even sure how it arrived. They were attacked and corrupted by it, they tried to fight it off, but were only partially successful. They had to serve the Darkness and were changed into what they are now. Under its control, they would answer three questions someone gave them, and the person would have to pay the price, which was often their lives. Because they were corrupted, they cannot reproduce and thus their race will die. To carry on their blood they need to produce and egg with a dragon. I'm not exactly sure how it works, they just send a bolt of energy through the dragon is what I got from it. I managed to free them from the Darkness and so they are loyal to me." He shrugged, "They helped to cleanse my mind also for which I am thankful." hen Fin spoke he said sadly, "Thank you."

Re: The Egg Vix shuddered slightly at Eris's description of how an Alfin was supposed to reproduce. She didn't know why, but it felt wrong, like it was something that should never happen. I don't think it would be a good idea for them to attempt it. the golden dragonette murmured, the unease clearly heard in her voice. Her small wings lifted from her back and her scales bristed slightly. Suddenly she didn't want to stay in one place anymore, she turned to Liam and dug her tiny, ivory claws into his leg. Up with you, let's get a move on. she called, ignoring his yelp of pain and surprise.
Liam didn't know whether to hold his head, where an ache was forming from Vix's mental jab, or his leg, which he could have sworn was bleeding from her claw marks. "Well apparently the doctor has changed her mind," he said wryly, walking off slowly. "We're not that far from Osilon, would you like to join us? I have a feeling these two are plotting something," he said with a pointed glare at the two dragonettes. Fin was flying off by himself, ignoring the elf and human. His sister was perched on Liam's shoulder, eying him with an eagle-like intensity. "What were you doing there where the Darkness had corrupted? Re: The Egg Eris shrugged at Vix, "I agree, but I think they'll just die out. They don't want their people to continue on or any possible chance hteir offspring could be corrupted." When Liam spoke he laughed at the two dragonettes and replied, "Yeah, I'll come. I have nothing else to do."

Re: The Egg Vix trilled with quiet satisfaction when Eris said the Alfin were determined to not let their corruption emerge again, so they were willing to let their race pass into the Void. That's very noble of them. I think I would like to meet these Alfin sometime. she burbled at the ex-Rider. Without warning she arrowed up through the trees of Du Weldenvarden until she emerged into the sunshine. The gold checked their progress against the outline of Osilon in the distance. We should be there in about an hour. she called out, diving back down to fly alongside Fin.
"So what about your family Eris? I heard you say you were around for the Fall. Are any of them still alive?" Liam asked. I'd blame it on a lingering affect of the corruption, but I think they just don't like giving a straight answer when speaking prophecies." As Liam asked about his family Eris shrugged, "My parents were killed during an assualt on our village. My brother's alive, but I haven't seen him for some time. What of you? Do you have any family from the fall?"

Re: The Egg Eris nodded. He or course remembered his parents, though time seemed to drain away memories. At least he remembered them, that would keep them alive in his mind. When Liam asked if he had a place to stay Eris replied, "I only have a tent and a few other suppies. I didn't intend to stay in the forest as long as I have."

Fin called, not bothering to shield his message from Eris. "Oh it's nothing to worry about, in fact it's a very good thing," Liam replied with a smile. The elf knew that if he said anything, Vix would skin him alive. The siblings would want to make sure before anything was said to the man. "I believe you'll be rather pleased with the result," he added. He pointed at a rather large grouping of trees, all of which were twisted around each other with. It was obviously an elven home, sang into shape in the fashion of the elves. "There's the visitors quarters, we're almost there." He could see a small patch of gold flitting around one of the windows in the upper levels. "Oh will you look at that? You passed! Although how the thing could have sensed you all the way out there is beyond me. Must be because you were a Dragon Rider? Anyways, let's hurry up!" he called, setting out at a dead run. He loved watching the little dragonettes hatch, and was even more excited for this one since it had been so long since the last. In no time at all he was skidding through the door of his room, breathing heavily as he scanned the room for Fin and Vix. Spots danced in front of his eyes as he grabbed the doorframe for support. Must have lost more blood than I thought. he wheezed at the two of them. They were perched on his desk, with a small egg between them. The shell was a sandy sort of brown with speckles and spots across the bottom half. "Ah, so it's that one is it? I thought it might be," he said with a smile, moving aside so Eris could enter the room when he caught up. Yes and about time to. It's been ages since Slyth hatched for her Nephilim bond. Vix said happily. Her golden eyes were glowing slightly from a mixture of her elemental power and joy. And I just had a thought. Elves may not like fresh meat being brought into their cities, but the little darling will be to weak to go anywhere to eat. Fin, go catch something. A nice rabbit or bird perhaps. she said to her brother, skewering him with a glance. Alright, but there's no need to glare at me like that. the black grumbled at his sister. He walked across the desk to the window and fell out. A few seconds later a dark shape arrowed up and away from the building. Re: The Egg "Yes it is. It's one of three I was given by Fin and Vix's mother to hand out to people I thought deserved one. Funny thing is, Fin and Vix are the one's who do the choosing," he said with a smile. "Anyways, apparently they think this egg is meant for you. We should know any minute now," the elf added, walking over to his chair and falling into it. "Grab a seat, I guarantee you won't miss anything."
Liam scanned the room casually and his eyes fell upon Ranor's saddlebags, black leather with silver fastenings. He smiled as he thought back to his earlier musings. He jumped up from the chair like it was on fire and walked over to the bags, pulling open the one closest to the wall and rummaging around in it. "Ah! Here we are! How about a bit of music while we wait?" he said gleefully, putting the wooden flute to his lips. He blew softly into the intstrument, smiling at the sweet note that sounded. Despite the time that had passed since he last played it, the flute was still perfectly in tune. Without further ado he began playing a song that seemed fitting for a hatching. It was light and happy, with an energetic beat that made the listener want to jump up and dance like mad. Vix turned away from the egg to watch Liam as the elf began to play his flute. She chirped happily at the song he was playing. Balancing carefully on her hindpaws, Vix sat up and started trilling and whistling in time with the song. The sound of her voice mixed harmoniously with the flute, and as she became caught up in the sound of it, her scales began to glow. She was vaguely aware of Fin darting through the window, a plump rabbit in his claws, but ignored him. Just as Liam's song reached the climax, the egg began to shake from side to side. It's hatching! she cried happily to everyone in the room. Quickly, cut that up into tiny bits. The hatchling will be hungry when it emerges. And be warned, this is not like a dragon bonding. The thing could very well decide it doesn't like you after all and leave. Fin said to Eris, dropping the rabbit in his lap and looping around to land beside his sister. As he alighted upon his hindpaws, the black started humming along with his sister and Liam. His eyes sparkled with excitement. Re: The Egg Eris listened as Liam played the flute. It was a good song, he himself hadn't been skilled at playing an instrument. "You're very good. I wish I could play something but I can't." He shrugged and added, "I can sort of sing, but not well. The only song I actually know is the one the Alfin taught me after my mind was restored and they were freed. I don't mind singing it, but I'd rather not." He didn't say why, but the song was dark and echoing of horrible events to come. He shivered at the thoughts. As Vix and Fin spoke his eyes jumped to the egg as it begun to hatch. He smiled and replied, "It's been awhile since I've seen an egg hatch. The last one I saw was Equinox and Elcyon's children, but my mind wasn't cleared when that happened." He watched as the dragonette begun to make an appearance in the world.

Re: The Egg Still playing the tune, Liam reached out to Eris's mind. That's alright, I'm only doing this because I was getting jumpy just sitting around. he said with a silent chuckle. He moved back slightly and gestured at the egg with his flute, encouraging Eris to stand next to it. His fingers danced across the openings on the flute, expertly trilling out the notes of the song. Liam had to try hard not to smile when Vix, and then Fin, started singing along.
Fin's right though, you should have that rabbit ready before it hatches. I learned the hard way. he added, showing Eris a picture of tiny bite scars on his finger tips. It's safe to say the hatchling will be a bit... peckish... when it emerges. Vix trilled happily along with Liam's tune, ignoring the conversation the humans were having. She could feel it, only a few minutes more before the hatchling was free of it's egg. Pick up the tempo Liam, let's give the hatchling something exciting to listen to when it hatches, not this funeral march. Fin demanded, increasing the speed of his own tune, ignoring Liam's glares. The elf would catch up or he wouldn't. He remembered when Quasar hatched and the apitite she had. "Dragons, dragonettes, are there any flying reptiles that aren't hungry when they hatch?" he laughed.

The elf leaned over the egg and traced a finger across the cracks in the shell, without touching it. "Shouldn't be much longer," he murmured, echoing Vix's thoughts. He put the flute back to his lips and continued playing, picking up the tempo that Fin had kept during his break.

Re: The Egg Eris felt as the egg jerked in his hand and begun to splinter open. With a smile he looked down as a small bronze dragonette broke his way through the shell. Eris couldn't hlep but pull away the bits of shell as the new being cracked its way through with a few quick cries. It eyed him for a moment and nudged his arm. At once he handed it bits of rabbit that it at once consumed and swallowed whole. Eris rubbed the dragonette's head and watched as it begun to crawl around. "He's an amazing creature." Eris said warmly. After a look at it he said, "Any names you have in mind?" he asked Vix and Fin.

Re: The Egg Liam trilled one last time on the flute as the hatchling broke through the shell, then lowered the flute. He smiled excitedly and walked over to Eris, peering at the bronze hatchling from over the human's shoulder. "Congratulations Eris, you've got a new friend!" he said, thumping him on the back.
I might have a few, but the naming process is really up to you. Fin said primly, licking the talons on his right forepaw. He casually eyed the little bronze, acting like he wasn't interested, but on the inside he was bubbling over with excitement. Another one of his sibling's had hatched! Vix, when he's done you might want to create the light balls for him to play with. Don't boss me about, I know what to do. the gold groused at her brother. My element is Light. I can create a ball of light that will change color according to the hatchling's element when he touches it. she said to Eris before focusing on her elemental power. A ball of soft white light gradually gathered into her cupped paw, and when it was fully formed, she set it on Eris's lap next to the hatchling. Just leave it there for now, he'll play with it when he's done. Vix said, chirruping happily. She arced up into the air, spiraled around Liam and came to rest on the elf's shoulder, rubbing her cheek against his jaw. Re: The Egg Eris looked down at the dragonette who just finished eating the rabbit. He glanced up and stared wide eye and went to nose the ball for a time. After watching him Eris said, "I think I'll name him Ford. It seems like a good name." he said and stroaked the dragonette's head. His attention turned back to the ball of light as it begun to darken to a black color. Ford watched it for a time and gave a small rumble.

Re: The Egg "Ford, hunh? I like that name, it's different. Simple, but strong. He'll be a fierce one, he will," Liam said with a smile. He watched the little dragonette eye the ball of light Vix had created. "And lookie here, he already has an element!" he exclaimed as the ball turned black after Ford swatted it. "Some dragonette hatchlings take time to settle into an element. There for a while it was looking like Fin would be a Water, but then he did a one-eighty and settled on Earth."
"So what element is that Vix? I've only seen the ball turn sort of a blue and red. No one was around to test you two when you hatched," the elf said to the golden dragonette. That is the Dark element, also known as the Shadow element. It's kind of rare actually, in our family anyway. From what Fin and I saw while we were visiting our tribe, only a handful of our family has that element. Vix replied, broadcasting her comment to Eris as well. Still, he couldn't help but worry. Darkness, he doubted it was related to the Darkness, but he couldn't help but think about it. Could this be fate? he asked himself. After thinking it over he shook his head. No, if it was fate the Alfin likely would have predicted it and told him. Then again, they were a mysterious race. "What can a dragonette with a dark element do?" he asked.

"Fin, do you think your mother would allow Eris to accompany us to the tree?" Liam asked the black dragonette. Fin looked up at Eris and studied him through tiny, obsidian eyes. I think so. After all, our brother did choose to hatch for him. However, don't be surprised if she attacks him. The Queens can be very protective of their domains. he said solemnly. "Well come on then Eris. Set Ford on your shoulder or in a pocket. We have some more traveling left to do today. We have to get over to the dragonette's tree and see what they can tell you about the Dark element," Liam said. He walked briskly over to Ranor's saddlebags once more and pulled out a small bag, which he quickly filled with enough food to last them through the next day. When he was ready he turned and walked out the door without looking at Eris. It would probably be best if you and Liam were to remain behind when we get closer, just until we can explain the situation. Vix replied, speaking to both two-legs.
OOC: I'm thinking of having the queen and one other dragonette come to meet Eris after Vix and Fin speak with her. The dragonette watched him for a moment, then leapt into Eris' shadow, jumped out and landed back on his shoulders. "Just playful today eh?" he said to the dragonette. He was sure the hatchling would break something when he hit, but the little bronze sank through Eris's shadow like it was a pool of water. "I guess it must be," he said shakily, running an unsteady hand through his hair. The elf felt behind him with one hand for the tree trunk and then sank to the ground.
"Yes, they can communicate a few hours after hatching. I have a theory that the process can be hastened by keeping up a continuous dialogue with them in your mind, but I didn't think to try it on Fin and Vix when they hatched, so I can't be sure," he replied. The black-haired elf pulled his flute out of his shirtsleeve and held it up. "I'm going to play some more if you don't mind. Vix and Fin will be able to hear it from the tree, so they'll know that we're here already," he said, then put the flute to his lips and began to play. It was a slower song than before, just something simple and pleasant to pass the time. _______Thirty minutes later...________ Liam! We're back! Vix chirruped, flitting through the branches above his head. Without warning she pulled her wings and and dropped heavily onto his shoulder, whistling the whole way down. She blinked coyly at him, then turned to Eris and Ford. And guess who we brought? she said excitedly, just as Fin appeared leading two more dragonettes. One was a rather large blue male, with hints of dark purple in his wings. The other was a dainty lavender female, who looked remarkably like Vix. Here Ford! Come meet mom! Vix said excitedly, kneading Liam's shoulder with her forepaws. Vix! Watch what you're doing! You're tearing Liam's shirt to shreds! Fin growled, diving down and using his wing to push his sister off of Liam. The black circled around sharply and landed on the elf's opposite shoulder. He turned to look at the little female who had landed on a branch on a level with Eris's face. Mother, you remember Liam. And this is Eris, one of our siblings just hatched for him. Fin said in an uncharacteristically respectful tone. The lavender female turned to look at him briefly, then looked back at Eris, watching him closely through tiny purple eyes. She's in a good mood, so you don't necessarily have to address her as 'Your Majesty' or anything like that. Her name is Belnora. he said privately to Liam and Eris. "Greetings Queen Belnora. It is good to see you again," Liam said politely. He slipped his flute back up his sleeve and stood to give the tiny queen a bow. Hello Liam, it pleases me as well to see you again. You have done well with Fin and Vix. I can see I chose the bearer of my eggs well. Gralor, you will accompany... Eris... and answer any questions he may have about Ford's element, as well as give him answers to those he may not think to ask. the queen commanded. Her mental voice was light, but strong. I figured you'd want a little freedom with Gralor to explain what you can about Ford's powers. So for now my characters are going to be mostly silent. Liam impassively watched Eris walk away with Gralor and Ford. Truthfully he was dying of curiosity to go over there with the three of them and listen to Gralor teach the other two, but manners demanded he stay there and entertain the dragonette queen. As for his powers, I believe you already saw one. He gave jump into shadows and appear in someone elses. Not only that, but it seems he can also strangle people with their shadows." "Strangle?" Eris said with surprise. "How? I don't see how that's possible." "It is confusing at times, I don't even know if he fully understands how to do that, but it can be done. Shadow dragonettes are vey powerful. Now, it is possible to escape your own shadow, though it can be difficult at times. Re: The Egg Eris listened to Gralor as he spoke. Everything was so well, interesting. "Though he is a powerful element, it almost means he may tired more easiler than the rest of us when using his abilities. Still, as he grows older it shouldn't be too much of a problem for him. As for other powers, he can summon a flood of shadows which pretty much blankets the ground. It won't hurt anyone, but it does make it hard for anyone but himself to see."

Re: The Egg Well you can stay here, but I have an idea... Vix said back, then reached for her elemental power. Carefully the little female created an illusory copy of herself, then slowly stepped out of her spot, allowing the copy to fill it. She had never done this before and it showed. The copy was perfect in almost every way, except it didn't move and she had to stop singing to concentrate on keeping it up. Her tiny head darted around, making sure Liam and Belnora didn't see what she was up to. She chirped quietly in amusement when she was sure they hadn't noticed anything and then went invisible.
She flew silently over to a tree beside the other three and listened intently to what Gralor was saying. Every day he was around them he learned something new about their abilities, like Vix's illusion. "Oh, I feel like I should mention that Ford may be able to go invisible. I don't know if it's something all dragonettes can do, but Vix and Fin both can and he is their brother. Just something to keep an eye out for, especially if he's ever in a mood to pull a prank."

Ford nodded and glanced at his older brother and sister, "Of course," he replied with a chirp and flew into the air. "Oh and Eris, why don't you join us with your reaping seal?" Eris stared at Ford, one for him just suddently talking, and two that he knew of the seal, "Sure. How did you know though?" "Oh it wasn't too hard really." he replied. Re: The Egg Liam almost tripped when Eris turned into a dragon, and he hadn't even been walking. "Well that's new," he said with a shocked laugh. "I've seen dragons turn into two-legs, but I've never seen a two-leg turn into a dragon." Liam smiled when Ford spoke, "I told you it wouldn't be long."
Fin watched his little brother flit around for a bit, then spread his own wings and leaped off of Liam's shoulder. Re: The Egg I got the seal from my friend Jia awhile back. Eris replied with a smile. He flapped his wings and launched into the air. Though flying was still somewhat awkward he did have the hang of it. Kind of funny though, I'm still afraid of flying. He said with a laugh.
Ford smirked and soared out away from his brother and sister and lopped back. He stared down and noticed a strange snake like creature way below him. At once he returned to Eris, "Something odd is out there. A strange snake person." Eris' eyebrows rose with shock, "An Alfin!" At once he ran off and Ford flew right behind him. He halted in front of the Alfin and called out but the Alfin simply stared into the trees. When it turned around Eris screamed with terror and Ford took a back wing and nearly collapsed from the sky. The Alfin's eyes were burned out and it simply stared back at them. "Eris... beware for events have turned. Remember the prophecy. Dragonettes will now be mixed in a war they should have no part in." "What?" Eris gasped. "Remember Eris... ninety years from the day that was once not passed but is now..." With that the Alfin vanished. Eris stared with shock and Ford simply flew next to Eris and stared at where hte creature once was. Re: The Egg Liam looked up and watched his friends flying through the air, having a fine time. It almost made him want his own wings. The smile turned to a frown as the large bronze that was Eris flew off, like something was wrong. Liam leaped into the branches of a nearby tree and started following his friend from the heights of the forest guardians, not touching the ground until he had caught up to Eris.
He dropped to the ground just in time to hear a strange human-snake creature give Eris some sort of warning about the dragonettes. He looked at Eris, eyes sharp. "Eris, what was that about?" he demanded. His normally friendly black eyes held no light or warmth as he stared his friend down. OOC: The End. I suppose you're going to tell me what this was about eventually?
