It was an incredibly hot day. Heat waves rose off the sand, causing everything to take on a swirling appearance. Endless dunes of sand stood on the bare desert plains. A few short patches of scrubby grass grew in the shade of the hills. The only sign of life was a dark bird, circling high in the cloudless sky, searching maybe for a mouse or desert shrew to prey upon.

Kariana glided effortlessly over the barren landscape. Her amethyst eyes scanned the ground, searching for a place to rest. Finally, she spotted a rocky patch of ground in the shade of a particularly large sand dune. She wheeled down out of the sky like a vulture, enjoying the heat as her wings absorbed the sun's scorching rays. She landed with a dull thump, sending clouds of sand swirling into the air. The warm sand flet good under her feet. As she wearily settled down, she began to drift into sleep.

Kariana awoke with a jolt. She picked up a strange scent on the breeze. She swivelled her head around, searching for whatever might be hiding. Suddenly, a sharp pain erupted in her left wing. She roared savagely in agony, and spun around, slashing with her claws. A host of 60 or so urgals stood there, a spear protruding from the delicate membrane in her wing. Unable to fly away, panic rose in her throat. She daren't take on so many monsters by herself. If she was in the air, it might have been different.

With loud battle shout Eagan joined battle. Urgals were so surprised that many of them didn't try to defend themselves. "Ready to serve my dragon lady!" said Eagan. Yeah he recognized Kariana because they met a few months ago.
Urgals were confused and they weren't sure about their primary target. Few big Urgals tried to give them some orders. Eagan stab his sword into stomach of some Urgal and with words: "Only for a while don't worry" drew his daggers and thrown them against urgals leaders. Than he took back his sword and cut off head of nearly dead Urgal. "Come on!" yelled Eagan.

Kariana struggled to fold her injured wing, but she couldn't move it. With an angry roar, she leaped forwards, and slashed at an urgal with her sharp claws. She growled threateningly, and darted her head out to grab a large kull in her mouth, and quickly bit through it, ignoring it's screams of fear. She crushed another's skull under her back foot, but they soon surrounded her. She looked to her side to see that Eagan was similarly encircled. The monsters jabbed at her wings with her spears, and the one that refused to fold properly was particularly vulnerable. She groared again, as a sword bounced off her unprotected underside, leaving a deep bloody gash.

Fang let out a loud roar that made every body below him look up. Ioksok yelled a battle cry, and jumped off of fangs back when he was closer to the ground. Withing minutes Fangs claws were a bloody red as his scales, and Ioksok was standing in the middle of circle of dead enemies.

Enerais had seen the trouble. He stood on a dune that was ten feet away from the battle. He ran down the dune. He then slashed 6 Urgals with his sword. He then killed the ones surrounding Kariana. He kept slashing away at the dim witted Urgals. Once they had been taken care of he took his hood off.
"My name is Enerais. I am known as the outcast." He said.
He gave a slight bow to the two.

Stars danced in front of Kariana's eyes, but she forced herself to stay upright.
I'm Kariana. She replied quietly, dipping her head, and looking around. She felt faint, and looked down. Blood pooled on the ground beneath her, it was her own. Alarmed, she balanced on 3 legs, and pressed her front foot to her stomach. She winced as it touched her wound, and when she stood on all fours again, she left a bright red footprint on the ground. She glanced to her left, and saw her wing outstretched awkwardly, a spear and several arrows protruding from it.

Here let me help you. He said.
He went over and healed her wounds.
Does that help? He asked her.
He then decided his work was done. He was going to leave but thought they could help him. He wasn't going to ask them yet.

Kariana nodded gratefully.
Thank you. She said to him, and sat down weakly in the sand, folding her newly healed wing.
They caught me by surprise! She admitted, a little ashamed that mere urgals had nearly killed a dragon like herself. She swivelled her head around, seeing who had arrived, and checking for danger.
What are you all doing in the desert? She asked, too tired to be suspicious!

I am looking for someone. I don't know who, just someone. Enerais replied.
He sat on a rock and put his head in his hands. He was thinking hard.
"Why are you here." Enerais asked pointing to the other stranger. "Oh, my name is Enerais."

OOC: Lets wait for the other person.

"I am Ioksok" Ioksok said with a bow "And this is Fang" he added pointing to the red dragon,
Fang flexed his wings, and showed his white fangs trying to look impressive.
"We recently" siad Ioksok "left our old job" Fang noded to that.
Ioksok looked around what the king would give to be here he thought to himself.
"What are you all doing here?" he asked.[/i]

Wandering. Kariana replied simply. She almost smiled.
Where else am I supposed to be? She asked.
I have nowhere to go, nothing to do. I simply enjoy the desert. She said, stretching like a cat, absorbing the sun's heat. Some reflected off her amethyst scales, projecting a beautiful shimmering pattern over the ground, almost like water.
Actually, she stated
I had spotted some urgals a few days ago, and followed them. As soon as they disappeared, I thought nothing of it, and forgot about them.

"Well I am acually looking for someone. I honestly don't know who, just this person who keeps asking for me to rescue them in my dreams." Enerais said.
He didn't want them to know, but decided since they did he would.
"Wait, I've seen you before." He said pointing to Ioksok.

"You do look fimiliar" said Ioksok looking Enerais "Have we met?"
Fang put his big head in front of Enerais He lookes loke erais said Fang as he laid down in the warm sand.

Enerais then thought hard for a minute.
"Wait weren't you his servant." Enerais said with horror.
He then started to panic a little. He drew a sword he had been given when he was being trained.

"i serve only myself" said Ioksok with a sneer.
He drew his sword also.
Fang reared up and roared showing his sword like fangs.
"I don't want to fight" said Ioksok relizing who this man was, it was Erias's brother.

"Then we won't fight. You do look like someone I knew." He said. "Well I have to go."
He then took some of the Urgal daggers. He then started to walk away to look for thatstrange person who was in need of his help. He had to help him or her. There was something familiar about this person.

"Stop" yelled Ioksok, "I know your sister". Erianas turned around and looked at him, Fang growled and said And her dragon

"Wwwhat. I don't have a sister. Let alone one with a dragon." Enerais said aghast.
He looked around.
"As far as I know I don't have a sister. I won't believe you until I have prof." He said.
He watched them carefully.

Thats who Erias dreamed about it was him Fang said as the swong his head in Erianas's direction, "Yes you do that is who you talk to in your dreams we can help you find her" he said.

"I still won't believe you until I have prof that I have a dragon rider as a sister." Enerais said.
He was still not willing to believe this. He knew there was someone calling for his help in his dreams, but having a sister.
"I want prof." Enerais said again.

Ioksok lifted up his shirt "Well she did this to me" He said, there was a long scare runing from one side of his chest to the ohter, it looked like some one tried to gut him. here look at this Fang said, he sent Eranias pictures of his sister and Erandor.

Enerais tripped over an Urgal, he fell to the ground stunned.
"I have gotten one or two glimpses of her in my dreams." He said.
He was now more willing to accept it now.
I have a dragon rider as a sister. A twin. He thought to him self.

Kariana had been watching this argument intently. She had realised who Enerias was as soon as Ioksok said it. She lowered her her to get a better look at him.
Ioksok's right. She said.
You do look like Erias! However, the last time I saw her, Erador was missing. She explained with a hint of sorrow. She stood up tall again and sighed deeply.
I suppose we could help you find her, I myself have nothing better to do!

Enerais was still shocked.
"I just...A twin. A dragon." Enerais then started to say things they couldn't understand. "Do you really think she is in trouble. Maybe the king has her, or Urgals, maybe even..." He gulped. "Slavers."
He then started to jump when Kariana moved any part of her body.
"I would appreciate it." He finally said.
