Ah, but it depends on who she asked first. If she asked Brom first it means that he could be the blind beggar because the blind begger was his disguise. If he had excepted then their fortunes would b the same and selena would find out that brom and the blind begger were one and the same.

I don't care about the blind begger thing but, live silverwolf strider i will kepp to the belief that BROM IS ERAGONS FATHER.

But Eragon was blind to Murtags betrayal and Brom was to Morzan. If the blind beggar was his father wouldn't CP put more about him.

Ok I agree with the person who made this board It could be the blind begger, but then again I highly dought it I mean well jsut think about it. why would selena go for a blind poor man when she has- or - had morzon a really rich and respected (in his own twisted little way)

If you can call Morzan respectable. For all we know she could have been forced into marrying him, and I don't even think its says in Eragon or Eldest that she actually married him.

She may have loved him, but that doesn't mean they were marriyed. If it was between the blind beggar and Morzan I would say Morzan, but him and Brom I would say Brom.

maybe the blind beggar is morzan instead of brom.

Yeah, she doesn't seem like the person who would just pick someone becasue they were rich. Then again its obvious that Morzan was evil and he did betray the riders.

i still dont get how that works it could be true and it would make a great twist because most people have already forgotten about the begger

There are theories that the beggar is Brom, although I can't remember any right now. It would explain how Brom knew Angela and Solembum (wait...does he know them? It was such a long time ago...-_-'). But...meh...I'm confused...

ok the theories about brom being the beggar go soethin like this (i made one up u know)
now we all know (if weve read eragon) that brom got his fortune told. angela laughs when eragon mentions brom because his future is "sort of a joke". now the blind beggar refused to have his fortune told. why? the theory goes that he was disguised as the blind beggar hiding from someone most likely when angela asked if he wanted his fortune told. he refused because he was still the same person and his future would be the same. angela would know he was the same person and his cover would be blown. that is the theory of why he refused. also you have to ask yourself why would a werecat talk to a beggar?
thats the theory believe if you want.

Okay, that was kinda confusing and a weird theory. But I think either the beggar is Brom, or it's going to be revealed in Brisingr or Book Four. Wow...wasn't that helpful?
