I don't know if anyone had heard, but it's likely that they have, but an A-Z guide of the series has been made by Michael Macauley and Mark Cotta Vaz ...3 facts taken from the book are:

-that Helgrind, the den of the Raz'ac, is based on a real rock formation
-that Saphira's blue-tinted vision was inspired by Paolini's own color blindness
-that the Broddrings are the original humans who traveled to Alagaësia with King Palancar

Oh, my mistake. I didn't see any other author's name in the info about the book, so I figured CP wrote it, I didn't think to look at the picture. I'll change it.

Well I was able to find it here in Montreal, but it wasn't that easy which is not surprising for a new release. This is probably the most complete guide that you can get about the series and any fan should have a look at it.
