so does anyone here also like or love sharks like i do

my fav. shark is def. the greatwhite i think they are amazing creatures a lil scary i mean i would want to go and try adn swim with them or anything but i wouldnt mind getting in a shark cage and seeing them but i am scared of ALL sharks that is why im a lil scared to go scuba diving and snorkeling and what not im afraid it will come up and eat me hahaha


and in 6 days is sharkweek i cant wait!!!!!! i hope they have soem new shows cuz i think some were repeats last year from the year before

Ive been diving with sharks... Overall there nothing to fear as long as you respect them, but how many times have you heard that lol.... Well you always gotta watch yourself cause you never know what will happen

well see im just a big chicken im always afraid to do something new until i do it then i love usually so that should hopefully be the same with diving and being in a shark cage!!!

Yea dragon my grand parents live in Hawaii so i visit there every couple of years so i go diving there..... is close enough to be able to reach out and touch them close enough?.... most of them were Mako sharks.... i've seen Great whites but never been diving with them...

I hate nj... its so boring..... nothing to exciting at all..... id much rather live in Hawaii Then i could dive with sharks everyday!

They can smell blood.... From many miles away at that .... worst thing to do is to go diving while having an open wound.... makes the sharks go on a frenzy

this shark has a grill

Nah ive been shark fishing.... you poles are like one inch in diameter and when your hooked one, your buckled into a seat so your not pulled from the boat.... its exhilarating!

Yea really heavy... takes about half hour - 2 hours to reel them in....

Ps. i think kitties are amusing lol

i think shark fishing would be kool i would want a hammerhead though but i know i wouldnt be strong enough to reel it in my bf or someone would have to do that for me!!!!

mako shrk is the only shark i like... if you cook it just right it falls right apart in your mouth

I fish sometimes, but I think it gets boring after awhile. Its not really painful for them depending on where they were caught. I think

I caught a bluegill and the hook was lodged down its throat so I casted it back in got a bite and when I reeled it back half the bluegill was gone

some one probably put it there or a storm came by and the wind forced it out of the water.

I really want to see a hammerhead shark

I saw the Myth Busters thing for it yesterday it was cool. Too bad there are know fresh water sharks in the great lakes lol.

yeah supposedly but ive never heard of sighting around here except at a place called the palm which is a couple miles in the ocean or something and they were hammerheads and they came cus of all the building and stuff so they got attracted to the noise, and shark actually tastes pretty good :p it looks like an umm tiny great white? hahah i dno it looks a typical shark if that makes any sense :p there good cus they only have one bone in the middle so i dont go choking on all there bones :p

what there ARE known sharks in the great lakes for reall are u bein serious cuz umm ive never heard fo them ive heard of them bein in the mississippi before i kno whtey can be up to 500 miles up the river which yeah i will never swim in there i know htere are bull sharks for sure no way i wont go there if they are in the great lakes then what kind are there maybe bull sharks if they can find there way in from the ocean

ohh I think you read it wrong there are no sharks in the great lakes as far as I know. *looks over into Lake Michigan "Hey where did Johnny go." lol.

waht are u serious yea h they foudn bull shark up to 500 miles up the mississippi and they found baby hammerhead (??) i think that they found 10-15 diffent kind there yeah man u need to watch more discovery channel hahaha especially about sharks cuz they rule ahahhaha

Wouldn't the hammerheads die? Becasue aren't they only salt water sharks.

idk i thought that they would die too but they were babies so maybe that made a difference?? on the show they showed them pulling the babies into the boat and u could def tell that they were hammerheads and they showd them swimming around ill tell u one thing im not going in to the mississippi i wil pretty much ONLY go swimming in a pool until the time i get into a shark cage and i might scuba dive but who knows

I want to scuba dive so bad! It sounds really fun.

I wonder if soon the hammerheads would migrate to the great lakes?

u know what u never know because there are ways for them to travel from the ocean to the great lakes (i know that it is prolly really hard but im sure it is possible) and that is one reason why i would never go swimming in there i mean people didnt think that it would happen in the mississippi but umm hey it def did!!! and are we the only ones who have at least some interest in sharks!!

They could always swim up the sue St. Marrie (SP) the thing is though if they can get to the lakes can't the fish in the lakes get to the ocean.

oh wow that i pretty kool yeah i want to be able to scuba and NOT worry about it but i know how i am (a big wuss) anytime i do anything new i get really nervous and really scared so i do want to go but i want to take it slow!!!
