Leonitus DragonRider in Training Joined: October 19th, 2009, 1:37 pm Posts: 602 Gender: Guy Affiliation: Vardens	Invasion OOC: Most definately welcome to anyone, I don't really have any plot ideas, so anything is welcome, I mainly just want to use my new character, Eroth. IC: Eroth flew over the green sea of leaves, twigs, and branches called Du Weldenvarden. It was a good day, ha had no worries at the time, and there was a strong South-westerly wind blowing. He rode the air currents silently, ever quietly watching over his lands. He caught sight of some large, humanoid creatures. They were quite ugly and very brutish. Urgals. he thought to himself. He wheeled higher into the clouds, then dove down. He came to a halt above the tres and hovered there. He roared angrily and said to the urgals, Who are you, and why are you in my, and the elves' territory, your kind live in the Spine, not here, now leave before I get angry! The grotesque forms of the urgals fell back slightly, but when they did, Eroth instinctively dove away, this instinct saved his life, because the urgals dropped back for onle one reason, to step back and begin to fire arrows at the dragon. Eroth swiftly flew away, all the while calling out loudly so that any allies in the area could hear, Invasion! We are under attack, tell others, we are under an attack!!! _________________ Role-Playing Characters: Ara The dragon of illusion. U'lfr The hybrid of darkness. Luna The moon dragoness. Then there was a mental shout of the dragon calling for help. Nardia quickly reached out and found the dragon's mind. "Hello, you need help? I'm nearby. I'll be there in a minute. She began running toward the sound of the voice, then shifted into a wolf so as to run faster. Then she broke into a clearing with an army of urgals and a red dragon. He also saw her change her form from a human, to a wolf, then backto a human. He said, Good to see you heard my warning, if you can use magic, use it to get on my back, otherwise, tell me and I will use my own magic to pick you up. Either way, I don't have enough time to stop. Then she hardened the air around them. The arrows flying toward the dragon clattered to the ground. "Where are we going?" Nardia asked. "Are you hurt anywhere? We should try to figure out what those urgals are doing here. I could shift into a small cat or something and spy on their camp." Ikarina stared gloomily at the boots of the urgal gaurding her as she thought back on what had happened. She was walking with Tay and Firnal, Inyere asleep in the bag over her shoulder that she kept for her owl to sleep in. Suddenly, she was ambushed. Thouights began flickering wildly through her mind. Why where they attacking her? Normally her foresight forewarned her of these things, but it hadn't happened this time. She wouldn't be able to win, that was obvious. There was no way she could prevail against so many. She called to Firnal and Tay to run for help. Tay, who had always been the smarter, immediately understood that they needed more help and left. Inyere was still asleep and didn't wake up easily, and Firnal, stubbornly loyal, had refused to leave. So the wolf and owl had been captured with her. But why? She wondered. They could have easily killed her, so why capture? Suddenly, another urgal walked over, said something to the urgal gaurding her, then grabbed Ikarina's arm, dragging her along. Lakida, sitting in her chair, watched the tent flap for the girl to come in. She wondered what she was like, if she would do well for what she had in mind. The flap lifted and the girl was shoved through. She tumbled to the ground, then picked herself up. "Hello." Lakida said. "What is your name?" The girl's expression remained impassive, but Lakida saw hate in her eyes. "Ikarina." Her voice was just as impassive as her face. "I have a proposition for you." Lakida began. "You will go to the elven cities and convince the elves to side with me. There is a great deal that i can offer you in return. Your life, for instance." Her eyes were not interested. "Not enough, then? What about riches, power..." Still no flicker of interest. "Still not enough? Then how about the lives of the little wolf and the bird my soldiers have locked up in the cages?" Her face still remained impassive, but the brown eyes were now filled with a blind fury and terror. Lakida smiled to herself. Some people were so easy to get to. "Guard?" Lakida called. "Take her away now." As Ikarina was dragged off, Lakida called after her, "I will leave you to consider my proposition. We will talk again later." Ikarina watched as the guards paced back an forth. She would rather have died than help capture Du Weldenvarden, but as soon as Inyere and Firnal were threatened, she was helpless. What was she going to do now? Tay ran off through the forest, searching for anyone who could help Ikarina. Eventually, he came across a red dragon with someone on its back. "Help!" He called. "My friend was attacked by urgals, she is either dead or captured by now. I ran for help. (台灣) Gender: Girl Affiliation: Urgals	Re: Invasion Morena had joined this group of Urgals a while back, and now she prepared to attack the despised Elves of Du Weldenvarden. She was standing beside the leader's tent when a girl her own age was dragged in. She heard the name from where she was, but closed her ears to whatever else was to come so as not to be an interference. She may have liked the Urgals, but that didn't mean she had to like the leader. Morena heard there was a dragon in the area so she ran towards it to attack. unfortunately it was in the air when she finally arrived. Morena swore under her breath, and ordered the Urgals to stop firing as they were only wasting their arrows. She saw someone riding the dragon, and something occurred to her. Morena gathered all the Urgals nearby who were good with their minds, and took slight control to attack the person on the dragon 's mind. A very strong attack, but that wasn't what she depended on. Morena allowed an experienced Urgal attack with the mind, while she tried to sneak under the person's barriers. Morena couldn't keep this up for long. She could only run so far at the speed she was going to keep up with the dragon. "Curse you, and your entire race!" Morena said mentally to the dragon so that even with barriers the flying pair could hear. "Come back here and fight!" _________________ Rule number one: Never throw a rubber ducky at me. He said, I am truly sorry about your friend, but at the moment, I am kind of fleeing, even with my strength and ability with magic, I am unable to defeat that many urgals, follow me on foot, should you get into trouble, I will try to help you, but for now, fleeing is the best thing to do, if you get captured, you can't help her, just follow us! roared the red dragon as she turned his head around and sent a powerful flame toward the urgals on the ground. He roared to the woman with the urgals, A curse on you, and your evil allies! roared the dragon as he sent a monsterous flame toward the woman and the urgals with her. _________________ Role-Playing Characters: Ara The dragon of illusion. She listened as the dragon spoke to him, then thought for a moment before replying. "He's right," She said. "We can't do much against so many urgals. I suggest that you come with us. When we get to where we're going, and out of the reach of these urgals, we can get help and make a plan." She realized that the unicorn wouldn't be able to keep up, and quickly cast a spell that had him trotting along at the same pace as they were. Then she suddenly felt someone probing at her mind. I can't talk anymore, i need to concentrate on my barriers. But the two of you won't need to worry about protecting your minds. She closed her eyes, concentrating on the sound of the dragon's wings until that sound blocked out all else. Tay thought about what the dragon and the girl had said. "I will go with you." He finally said. He was begnning to lag behind a bit, and was relieved when the girl cast a spell to help him keep up. "Where are we going, and how far away is it?" Alice had been sleeping when she senced them and now she also sensed the dragon, person, and unicorn heading her way, and deicided to help then out. Alice could tell they were heading for the cave she had seen the day before in the montains. So Alice solidifyed the air under her feet with kido, jumped up to where the dragon was flying( also with kido) and followed them, saying she would help. _________________ may your swords stay sharp! You are indeed wise and experienced! You may encounter foes along your path and you are definitely brave enough to face them. However, you are wise enough to know when you can avoid a fight and save your energy. Before leaving the island people called Vroengard Morena hadn't ever heard of shades before. Only of Urgals, dwarfs, elves, humans--since she was a human--and dragons. In Morena's opinion Shades were one hundred percent greed. If Morena hadn't suspected that the Urgals might be under the shade's control she would have taken as many with her as she could, and leave. Morena called, and a giant bird flew to her. When the dust clreared in front of the urgals, there was nothing. When the sound of a roar stopped, Eroth stepped forward and mumbled some words quietly and walked forward as a mountain seemed to open to them. He said, Come in, but don't go anywhere I don't say, I have many traps here. Welcome to my home, it is created in the form of my parents on a island very far away. It was getting dark when Ikarina was handed a tray with some water and a piece of dry bread. She stared at it for a moment, wondering if she should eat it, then decided she didn't really have a choice. She ate quickly while the guard watched. Then it was taken away again. She lay down and stared at the stars until she fell asleep. Nardia felt a thud, and opened her eyes and glanced around briefly, wary that they were being attacked. They were in a cave, supposedly the dragon's home. as she glanced around, she noticed someone else with them, and quickly threw her shield around her as well. She felt anger rising in herself, and prepared to use her second call to open the stone. The giant eagle crashed into the stone, and to Morena's surprise used magic to make a tiny door for the pair to go through. The giant bird fell dead, launching Morena off of it's back, and head first into a wall. Morena immediately lost consciousness, and entered a dreamless sleep. _________________ Rule number one: Never throw a rubber ducky at me. You may never get it back. He said, Hurry up, I don't have all day, we need to get to the inner chambers before I can see what is going on outside, I will be able to see if the urgals have entered or are on my home yet. said the dragon as he swiftly walked toward a large door and roared loudly. Morena's body thrashed on the floor, while in her dreams, she watched pain, and destruction. Dreams of death, and dreams that would leave her with no energy when she regained consciousness. It was ceated specifically for one reason, and one reason alone, scrying. Eroth looked at the waters and said, They have not yet arrived here, but the urgals are less than three miles away, I suggest we prepair for a seige. I have something I must attend to. said the dragon as he walked away. He came to a room that was sealed tightly. He muttered the "password" and the wall seemingly moved to allow him through. He looked and saw the silvery white egg with the veins of lavender in it and sighed in relief. When a human girl her age, and even the same height walked towards her Morena smiled, and used the dream to flash her eyes into what appeared to be blinding different colored diamonds. Morena's brown eye was filled with hate, and contempt for humans, elves, dwarves, and dragons, while her green/gray eye appeared to be made of stone, betraying no emotion, and only hardness. Morena looked into the other human's eyes, allowing the look that had put fear in many to fill her face now. Morena turned her look towards the dragon in anger when she knew what he was doing. Morena stepped out of the dream, and nearly thought it would kill her. Her face turned to stone hard, and her green/gray eye filled with pain as she felt the agony of all the pain she had ever felt. But she didn't make a sound, and was as silent as her brown eye--which still glared in hate. The pain slowly receded and Morena's green/gray eye changed back to what it had just been. Her eyes glowed in the shadow where she was standing, seeming to emphasize her hate. "Leave my Urgal friends alone, and they will leave you alone." Morena said in her musical voice to all who were there. She walked forward, and though she didn't appear like it, Morena was in a stance where she could easily give a killing blow. "No matter your strength you could not defeat an entire army of Urgals with a cursed shade leading them. Do not try." Morena's voice was commanding, but soft. "You think I am more than a 'normal' human? I am a dreamer, but that is the only thing you could say is not 'normal' about me--except maybe my hate for humans." Morena wondered why she had just wasted breath explaining something to a human, but stopped thinking about it quickly afterwards. She smiled at the one who drew a sword but said nothing to her, and then turned her smile to the dragon. "If you could control all that happens here I would never have entered, and would never have known that you protected a dragon egg. I could easily destroy, or take the egg away using the same power I used to enter." she told the red dragon, knowing that he would doubtless would be angered with her threat concerning the egg. Morena stood still as stone, and as calmly as a tree when the dragon began to approach her. "My friends attack you because they are trapped into doing so by the cursed shade. This is the only way they can protect their families, their homes, their freedom... This is the only way they can protect all that they love. You would do the same if you were in there place. The Urgals are not your enemy. The Shade is. As for this person's friend... Was she a human? If so then she was released, and sent to the elven city. The only way you can protect her completely is by surrendering or destroying the cursed shade." Morena had spoken in her calm musical voice in a way that often drained anger from ones mind, and made them more submissive to her words.
