It had seemed like months sense he had left the empire in search of a way to find the Varden. It had turned out to be a vacation though. It seemed nothing ever happened at the edge of the mountain, he wasn't sure if that was a good thing or it meant something big was about to happen. He didn't know nor did he care he was content with the easy ride and rest. The view wasn't bad either.
He had just got done with an encounter with the Ra'zac when he left the empire. He still didn't know what to make of the strange creatures. The were fast and strong but he could match them. They held power over humans, mostly by fear it seemed. He also heard rumors of them flying on dragons but he found those to be far fetched. He had wounded one and that seemed to have scared them off. He had almost hopped for a better fight but he didn't they had dealt there own blows too. They had as much as he hated to say it bitten a chunk of his leg off. It had taken five days to recover from the wound.
He was now riding on Bree just going a slow walk. His spear strapped to the saddle, bow unstrung on his back, and sword at his side. He had all of his armor on, he was content but not stupid. The path he was on brought him through huge treed area. Just as the mountains the trees seemed to match them with there size. He was almost tempted to lean forward and take a nap on Bree. It was just so peaceful, maybe a little to peaceful. So he just let his mind wander as he rode.
He was pulled from his bliss as the beating of wings echoed off the mountain sides. Looking up he spotted wings. His mind went into overdrive and he spurred Bree to go fast and Bree didn't enjoy that at all. They raced through the tree and then out of no where came to a huge clearing. nothing seemed to grow. Fenlore looked up but the sun blinded him and he could not see where the winged beast was. He was blind to an enemy.

Fenlore sat there on Bree's back as he watched the black beast land ten yards away. It was huge as big as any dragon he had seen. He quickly strung his bow and urged Bree to back away. He notched an arrow and took aim. Sitting on the beast's back was a Ra'zac. Fenlore heard the beating of wings behind him, he looked back to see another one of the flying beast land behind him blocking his escape to the trees.
The Ra'zac made a bunch of clicking noises back and forth. Then they spoke. "We have our ordersss to capture you." The Ra'zac hissed and advanced on Fenlore upon the huge beast. He raised his bow and let the arrow fly and it struck the beast in the wing but it took no notice and kept coming. Bree RUN! He yelled with his mind and his horse bounded off.

OOC: -Pass

Fenlore was flung from Bree as the woman flew into Bree. He hit the ground and didn't even bother with the woman he held his spear in front of him and faced the Lethrblaka. He knew that the Ra'zac didn't like light so he hope these beast were the same. "Light" He whispered in the ancient language. He directed the spell to the butt of his spear and then stuck it into the ground lighting up the whole field. He let the spell consume his energy but it worked and drove the beasts away. Once the Lethrblaka had flown away Fenlore fell to a knee gasping from the energy it took the make such a blinding light.
"Nice to meet you too." Fenlore gasped as he drew energy from his sword. He looked in the direction that the Lethrblaka flew off and said to himself mostly, "They will be back tonight probably." He then turned to the two woman and raised and eyebrow at them with a weak grin on his face. Bree stood next to his master ready to bolt when Fenlore mounted.

Occ: Come on Eriel I know your better then passing in the middle of a battle.......lol

OOC: Hangs head in shame and blushes in embarrassment.
I didn't have much to say... I think.. Ahh well, let's get an order for this. Rein?

Fenlore chuckled at Eriel's anticks shaking his head. He now recognized the Elf. She was a powerful user in magic far beyond what he could ever be capable of doing. But he wondered on why she was in the area. He nodded his head in approval of Eriel's attack. The other Lerthblaka was far off in the distance. Fenlore glared toward the beast and then shook his head.
He had mistaken the other woman though she was nothing more then a human but something didn't fit. How could a little girl be so good with weapons. He shrugged the thought away. Just as he reached Eriel's side the Ra'zac that had been mounted upon the Lerthblaka that Eriel took down attacked.
Fenlore had brought his spear up intime and flung the Ra'zac off of him before the meat cutting beak could get to his neck. Fenlore held his spear ready. But something didn't add up why would this lone Ra'zac attack them, they were smarter then to attack a stronger enemy. Just then Fenlore felt his wards drain some of his energy as they deflected a small spell. He looked behind the Ra'zac to see Galbatorix's army. It had came out of no where. Fenlore's mouth dropped at the site and he hopped that this was only a dream.

Fenlore looked down at the little girl. He hadn't expected this but he wouldn't have cared if she were a over grown dwarf. Bree was glaring down at the girl, strong feelings of annoyance flooded into Fenlore's mind. She saved you life friend. Bree then glared at Fenlore. I know she could have warned use but still she acted quickly and did the right thing. Bree snorted at what Fenlore said and turned his back to them but stayed close.
Fenlore knelt on the other side of the girl. He looked down at her then up the Eriel, "We need to move. The Ra'zac are smart they will find us quickly." He looked at Bree and sighed he knew Bree couldn't carry them all.

Eriel grinned and placed her hand over the ring, dropping it back into her pack. "It's a betrothal ring. Don't ask who." She laughed softly then stiffened as she heard Dragonfly. "Get on his horse Dragon, I'll run with Fenlore." Eriel said loud enough for them to hare then picked Dragon up, ignoring her cries of surprise and placed her on the saddle shortening the stirrups as quickly as she could. Ride fast, ride hard and don't come back. Eriel told the horse then ran after it, sometimes in the trees, other times on foot, but always with her bow notched and aimed. "Why now of all times..." Eriel groaned as she fired an arrow.

OOC: Forgive the god-mode

Before Bree left Fenlore took off his cloak and strapped it to the saddle. His silver armor gleamed as he held his spear. Bree ride for 4 miles and follow the stream there. It will lead you to one of the many old hidden outposts the Dwarves had set up long ago. Keep her safe. He then chuckled at what Eriel said, "Because there can be no peace without war." He answered and looked at the line of Galbatorix’s army. They advanced slowly being very careful. "Eriel I hate to say this but we may need to put up a barrier to stop these fools. Nothing special maybe just a fire or something of the sort." Fenlore was concentrating on the magicians fighting several week magicians at the same time.

Bree was at a full gallop running toward the Ra’zac. He was told to protect the person he thought to be odd by his friend and mast so that is what he was going to do. Just as he was about to collide with the Ra’zac Bree planted his front hooves and pivoted bring his back hooves around and gave the Raz'ac a very solid kick to the neck knocking the Ra’zac away from Dragon and doing plenty of damage. He nickered nervously and kept his eyes on the Raz'ac twitching in fear but not willing to let Fenlore down. Whatever the cost.

Fenlore turned and ran right behind Eriel easily keeping up. His spear at his side. He pulled up beside Eriel and said, "I will take the Lerthblaka you make sure the Raz'ac dies for once." He turned slightly and sprinted off with his spear ready. He came upon the Lerthblaka and without hesitation lashed out at the Lerthblaka with his spear. With speed and strength he kept at least three feet between him and it.

OOC: Not really. Go on if the others don't mind.

Occ: Git"R"Done Red

While Eriel was having a ball fighting the Ra'zac Fenlore was fairing pretty well against the Lerthblaka, considering that the beast was so many more time bigger and stronger than him. Fenlore hadn't received a scratch so far thankfully. He was growing bored with the fight though all the dang beast would do is buffer him with its wings then bite at him. It was oh so dull.
Fenlore just got done dodging another one of the Lerthblaka same attacks when he saw the Ra'zac disappeared, he frowned and lunged at the beast quickly aiming the spear for its side. He hit his mark and the Lerthblaka staggered back and took flight. He didn't take his eyes off of it as it flew low and away from the area.

Bree was frantic as the Lerthblaka attacked now. He was going to stay and protect the girl if he could but he is only a horse after all so when the dragon flew in that was too much so he pawed at the ground in front of girl with his front hoof and sent her an image of her on his back ready to ride.

OOC: Oops err.... I pass.

Occ: i can't think on this one right now so, I give y'all permision to use my characters if ya want.....or wait it out till Im back on my game

OOC: I see... Well then, let's use the time to think of some ideas...

OOC:well, its my turn, so i'll go. We can use your evil side for a bad guy. lol.
*mutters,* need to introduce my third character.....

IC: Dragonfly rode on Bree, her wings outstretched, yearning to get to the strange magicians.
"Don't worry, Bree, I'll try to protect you," Dragon said. She drew her bow and one arrow, notched it and fired.
The magician looked up at shock as the arrow sprouted out of his shoulder.
"Keshiix (a sort of swear word.) I'm never good at firing from horseback."
Now the magicians were alert to her presence. One fired some spell at her, and Bree fell over, crushing her legs beneath her. "Ahhhh!" Dragon yelled.

Luckily, the horse was still alive, just unconcsious. (sp) Dragonfly slid her legs from beneath Bree's bulk, just in time to see the magic-users rushing her. Using suprise as the advantage, Dragon lunged at them, tackling the nearer one.
These magicians were not trained so much in physical combat, so she easily overpowered him. She knocked him on the head with a blade-hilt, then turned to the other one, slicing out sideways. Unfortunately, this magic-user....used magic.
Dragon herself couldn't be affected much by magic, but her blades could. The hilts grew burning hot. Dragon cried out and dropped them, rubbing at her palms.
They were covered in red skin and starting to form blisters.

"Oh, your're dead," she hissed at the magic-user. Dragonfly jumped at him, her wings flared, and managed to slash his face with her claws. The magic-user promptly ran away. Dragon glared after him. "Idiot."
She walked over to what the magic-users were so occupied with, holding her hands close to her. Burns were one thing she couldn't regenerate from. Dragon cocked her head. It smelled faintly of....human? or elven. It was hard to tell. She could also smell the almost pure evil emenating off of it.

Dragonfly walked closer, then fell backwards as a figure suddenly attacked her.
