 Reasons for Eragon to leave Alagaesiai think that the menoa tree has something to do with eragon leaving alagaesia. or maybe he will have to choose in the vault of souls: option a) he is given extraordinary power to defeat galb, but after his mission is complete he will have to leave alagaesia or option b) he is given no power, galb defeats him, but he can stay in alagaesia. and of course he would choose option a).

Re: Reasons for Eragon to leave Alagaesia No, LOTR stands for Lord of the Rings. In the end, the mian charater left because... Well, he felt like it. Just had to move on. I agree, though, that tree might, like, banish him because Sapphira burnt it.
