Ajihad's names meaning

Very interesting too because the Varden are there to protect and whatnot and have been in battles/ wars and whatnot. But how would his name meaning be of any importance in the books now. I mean he is dead.

I did take a class in the university or college, (I don't know how higher education is called in UK) titled Comparative Religion. Again, I do not claim to have learned in 6 months what Fathskie may have known or been practicing for all her life. But that was the definition, in minced words of the term jihad.
