I think Christopher Lee should have been Galbatorax.
Think of it: Saruman, Count Dooku, that guy I can't think of at the moment, all those other major roles he played in, in major movies...he would've been AWESOME. Or maybe he could've been Brom.
C'mon, who's with me?

He certainly is talented on taking on roles, so much so that you don't see him as Christopher Lee while he's acting.

Did anyone miss me? Sorry, I was on a couple-week hiatus. Computer crash. I had to go to the library just to do homework . . .

And he also played that judge in Sleepy Hollow. Yeah he would have been good. He does play really good evil charactors. It was hard seeing him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, because his part was nice.

I think that John Malkovitch will be perfect. Don't forget he is one of the best actors in the world!
I don't know if it is a new for you, but in this film there will be really great figures: Jeremy Irons will play Brom, Djimon Hounsou will be Ajihad, Robert Carlyle will be Durza... The girl who'll play Arya, Sienna Guillory, will be a perfect and beautiful elf... Garrett Hedlund, the guy who is presented to be Murtagh suits perfectly the book's character i think... And I heard Joss Stone will play Angela!
It's fantastic! I can't wait to see the film, and i hope it will be ten times better than the Lord of the Rings, as it deserve to be!

Gypsy groove, are you crazy? Jeremy Irons is rubbish as brom! He might be old, but where's the long beard and stuff? And it's not just how he looks either lol

we don't know that jeremy irons won't have the long beard when he plays brom! the pictures of him that i've seen for the cast of eragon were taken from the man in the iron mask and just like arya, we don't know what he'll look like in the movie.
but he'll be awesome at being good and wise and all, but mysterious as well. and that VOICE!

Yes, we do know he won't have a long beard, because it shows him in the Promotional video.

Christopher Lee as Galbatorix would be great. But does he not look like Brom, compare him in Star Wars and Brom in Eragon and i think you'll see a similarity.
Brom was as i pictured him the book but he's grown on me, Christopher Lee would be great but not if Brom looks as he is.

No... if I saw Christopher Lee playing another wizard/magician/sorcerer, I'd puke x.x
